Kitten is definitely the same word filter. Maybe that guy was self censoring?
I agree wholeheartedly with everyone here. There’s no good way to make money with how ANet is nerfing absolutely every single legitimate source of income while not touching botters, server switching ori farmers, and mystic forge legendary exploiters.

This is an amazing post and everyone that is “anti-reward” should read this. This is exactly the same kind of feeling I’m getting from GW2 about dungeons. Doing story mode and explorable paths the first time was fun and challenging and that in itself was a good enough reward. But now that I’m aiming for an armor it’s really become a mindless time and gold sink and much more of a chore than anything else.
With mega-grinding being the only thing left to do for me (besides PvP) I might be putting down GW2 for a good long while.
You need to play Engineer, the class of One Build to Rule Them All.
I just want the Chat UI from GW1, you can toggle which chats are visible and you can change your chat tab instantly by using the number keys + modifier key
Elementalist Improvements: Add weapon slots, keep swapping in combat disabled

I can not +1 you hard enough
My issue with this sort of logic is that if it added up, or if they really truly believed it, why even have levels? Why not just let us run around having fun in the game, without needing to entice us with progression?
Why does this suddenly become true at 80, but not before that?
As a GW1 vet I wish this was true. Hitting level cap and getting max armor at the end of noob island was amazing in Factions and Nightfall.
I have the same, lost Economy lvl 3, also 5000, the influence boost, and the event influence boost (I was using Asuran workshop to upgrade 3 at a time)
Crucible of Eternity also hints at a 6th ED who’s tied with nature.
This is why I run explorable mode only with my guild.
Keep checking. I was testing server transfers earlier today and transferred out of Henge of Denravi into one of the low pop servers. Within 30 minutes of checking every 5 minutes or so I got into Yak’s bend, and then in another 30 I got into Henge again.
I believe you have to relog to refresh the server population list but once it’s Heavy and not Full you’re good to go.
You can get from 1 to 80 by maxing every single crafting profession, so technically you can be a total pacifist until max. Of course, personal story line would be impossible, unless you brought a violent friend along.
My biggest problem with the run animation is how slow we go during it. When I have swiftness on the animation feels like it’s at just the right speed, but otherwise I always feel like I’m running in slow motion.
Here’s a trick to skip at least some of the fees. You can go to the Heart of the Mists and port to Lion’s Arch for free. From Lion’s Arch, heading south a short distance will bring you to Whispers Sanctuary which can port you to Fort Trinity for free as well. From there you can go to any of the Pact headquarters.
From Lion’s Arch you can also reach any starting city for free, which in turn means access to Ebonhawke from Divinity’s Reach.
And that’s all of the free ports I know of, but using this I never have to pay over 1.5s for any port at lvl 80.
Orichalcum spawns in different locations on each server. Not sure how he’s doing it, but my suspicion is that it’s an older build.
I find it incredibly hard to make over a gold and I’ve been 80 for weeks now. How are you making money anyways?
They’re pretty much “Jack of All Trades”. You can be melee ranged rifle + bombs/mines or long ranged with grenades or anything in between with all of your other skills and kits.
If it’s anything like GW1 they go after the squishiest targets first.
I think there’s two types. The ones from GW1 were all spawned from lava and rock, hence their forms not resembling anything living at all. Many of the ones from GW2 have forms that resemble living creatures though, so those could very realistically be corrupted beings. Most likely, crabs and trolls are a mixture of corrupted and created whereas all harpies are created. Just some speculation..
I hope they become playable.
Here’s some Quaggan calfs I got pictures of.

Because I didn’t want to be the meat or the salad.
Make your way to Orr and do all the events you can find. They’re by far the best way to gain karma and it’s all level appropriate for you.
Twilight Arbor has reward weapons that are lvl 55
I think the percentage is an increase to your chances of finding a rare item. So for 100% you would be twice as likely to find a rare item than without.
There isn’t, as far as I know, but if you’re in a party you can Ctrl+T to call out a target and everyone else can press T to target the same.
They have anti farming system to prevent botting. If you stay in one area the drop rate decreases dramatically. If you can to farm stuff do a rotation through several areas or even zones and you should be able to avoid it.
Happens to me with Orichalcum sickles and gathering plants sometimes as well.
You could still hold games, like hide and seek in Lion’s Arch or something. Just can’t gamble.
Korean works perfectly, but I know I would be really frustrated if it didn’t. Arena Net should fix this quickly
That POI is underground in Duke Barradin’s tomb, I believe. Yeah, it’s very misleading.
It’s random, although there are certain recipes that always give predictable results. I believe the wiki has a list in progress.
Why would they remove features from Beta? They also removed the multi-layer map. We just get little arrows next to the icons.
There is a global auto-kick for the whole of GW2. I know because it’s hit me several times.
I actually tried to do this, but I couldn’t. Was this just the generic scaling armor merchant?
