reporting the same, its seems to only affect the new pre-rendered cutscenes

is anyone else having problems with pre-rendered cutscenes during the story.
they are all black, but i can see hear audio and see the subtitles

just today, this has happened 5 times when im trying to zone in

Has anyone else run into this problem recently.
my game will screen would freeze, somtimes during load screen or just randomly.
but i can still hear the game responding in the background, like i can hear my skills working and seems like the game is fine except its not displaying it.

for reference:
i have a r9 290 VaporX

excat same error here but not due to update, started today
having trouble login in as well.

and no my problem is not my internet which is perfectly fine for every other game

The Silverwastes will pick up again after people do the story, story achievements, and jumping puzzle. Remember that a lot of other players want crests as well. If you want to focus on getting the boss parts,use the LFG tool to find someone taxing into Silverwaste maps that are near breach.

too bad, we can’t reset the achievements so restarting is taking forever.
O yea and the LFG is bugged to crap

i like to also say that for a number of my friends who have left the game and may like to return; their biggest deterrent is basically they missed out on alot of content thats no longer available, they feel left out…

It’s like there’s competing teams at Anet.
1st team does glints lair and grants carapace reward for each character doing story.

2nd team had a bad day and decides to screw with us, no repeatable, no skipping and 1000 crests for an armor piece.

3rd team decides to have no repeat motes but carapace reward per character is back.

theres zero consistency here, its like these things are done on a whim or just done and forgotten about.

In any case, i dont expect them to even acknowledge these concerns unless a crap ton of people take to reddit and scream at the top of their voice

Does anyone else feel like the game is turning into a chore now?

i sign in everyday, do teq, do wurm, do a frac49, do the biweekly achievos in 20 minutes and then immediately put down after receiving absolutely no reward.

Through all this, i’m playing LoL or something in background and it honestly feels like a job now.

lets be honest here, Anet will never fix fractals and even if they do, they’ll probably break another 3 things to go along with it. (eg: weapon swap bugs)

So heres hoping they never touch fractals again cause lets face it, if they did; i would expect this game to suck back items that i already have

at this point, i no longer have ANY faith that anything in this game is dropping at the rate they are suppose to. nothing at all. And that belief is so prevalent among the player base and Anet will never be able to repair that

guess we just have to keep commenting so they cant just shove this down and forget about it

also reporting in, suffering fps drop but most noticeable during karka queen

i think Mag public Mumble is gone too.

So how many servers are considered “dead”, as in consistently out-manned on all maps/

Since last post, i have had 4 instances of the same thing, all of them at world events.
and twice in WvW, zerg wasn’t big in these cases

surprisingly got very little mai trins

repaired, took me while to get another mai trin. Did not help

I uninstalled the gigabyte OC program a long time ago, back in like 2012. I dont really know how to read the log, but it seems like when gvosd.dll is mentioned, all the time stamps are in 2012.

EDIT: a search through my directories, i can’t even find gvosd.dll.

This particular issue never caused the game to crash, i had to alt f4 to close.
In, fact i was doing Teq as well and my friend directed me on Teamspeak to get credit.
I was doing it completely blind

Yea i know thats a weird title.
Here’s my problem, occasionally my game will freeze, at least the graphical portion.
I can still use my skills and i can hear that it is working in the background + movement of other players and such, but no amount of waiting will the situation resolve.

Before you ask, yes my drivers are updated. And this started happening since the last patch

so after doing frac 50 for who knows how long.
I have just learned that Mai Trin boss fight’s volley stage has aoe circles.

I have never seen them ever, but see all other cirlces in game as far as i know.
any solutions?

strangely enough, im getting this error pop when i’m already loaded into game, but i constantly lag and disconnect

I’m suffering from intermittent spikes every 5 minutes thkittenually casual a disconnect as well.
Rest of time, im suffering from a delay

its weird, im not really rubberbanding all over the place. Or seeing everyone run in lines, it seems like i can see other people use skills and such.

In fact, it feels like only my inputs produce nothing. The skillbar just lights up like a christmas tree and eventually, all the skills get used together

wow, im having essentially the same issue. It’s ok for 90% of the time then it becomes completely unresponsive. I am in the Toronto Area. My latency has been around 200-300ms lately,

I wonder if still related to all the DDoS stuff, at least for me, no other games seem to be affected.

Cause they still bugged, Magumma blue just healed back to 100% from 40% after patch numero #5? 6?

Just remove them, save us the trouble

key traits that i used:
grenadier, backpack regen,speedy kit, invigorating speed

skills: medkit, elixir c, grendate kit, toolkit.

I don’t use healing turret, i just find it such a hassel to use.

use the 1500 range to kill the cosmic rifts
grenade behind you
and swap kits often to kit vigor and perma swiftness

best way, dont attach an achivement to killing her

Ok so now that the pavillion is basically empty, why dont these NPCs res us yet?
Its become such as hassel to run back every single time i die.

How hard is this to do?

since legendaries are getting a update. Suggesting a few things.

The flame effects are barely visible on Charr characters. note, I’m the shortest/smallest charr possible, it’s even worse on large models.

Grenade barrage should have the fire effect even without grenadier trait. or maybe this was intentional.

Other toolbelt effects were removed in a prior patch like toolkit throw, throw elixirs. Hopefully, these will be returning.

Maybe we can get the purple projectiles back too, (this isn’t that big a deal for me"

yes, i have the exact same issue as you. Started around the same time, 1:00 pm EST.
Had a sudden disconnect and horrendous lag since then

Im located in Toronto,ON, Canada.

same issue. It started today all of a sudden in the middle of a dungeon.

just a few things that i think could have been better
1) why isn’t this in the pvp arena. In sPvP arena, we can respec, regear, rez easier.

2) why is there an infuriating glass dome that blocks the camera from zooming out. Why can’t the arena be like Lupi area, where i can zoom out and actually see stuff. Moving the camera around with the fps lag is actually making me physically nauseous

These 2 points really bother me, i simply don’t believe this wasn’t brought up in testing.

best example of kittenty armor, Aetherblade armor on Charr. Especially the shoulders.

Does anyone feel like the male version of the shoulders look hideous?, why can’t the shoulders look like the female ones. Can this ever be fixed?
