Just returned to the game and plan on doing some WvW. Been a while since I last stepped into it, so could someone please link a good, standard, guardian build for WvW zerg fights.

You have to unlock the recipe for each piece of Sinister Armour/Weapons/Trinkets by getting the actual recipe(either buying it off the Trading Post or getting one from a Sinister Armour/weapon/trinket book.

They are fairly cheap, with only a few going above 1 g, last time I checked. The price should go down even more.

Yup, the ones at gendarran portal were there since the Season 1 LS ended.

My only insight is that the reward should have some correlation to the difficulty of the event. As it stands, I’d rather not participated in this event even when there’s a chance of winning. Too much time consuming and zero room for error. This event should have a guaranteed ascended drop.

Ha, that would be too much. They need to make the rewards better, yes, but not that drastically. I mean, less than 1 hour work(maybe 40, 30min in my guild, lot less for the pugs) for an item worth 100+ gold?

Sell it to the highest buyer. I dont really see any sense in the ridiculous pricing of these of Dreams weapons. The path can be farmed anytime.

Well, the pricing is because they’re essentially Precursor rarity weapons that only drop in a specific place. The only reason they aren’t (generally) as expensive as precursors is that they can’t be used for anything other than their own personal skins.

Don’t get me wrong, we would be still going for the top without all the transferees, but this really makes it plain boring.

Too late now though. Not only would they kitten everyone who transfered, it would also be unfair to us, the “domestic” folk.

We’re working on the builds to use in zerg\dps group on Tequila.
We’re considerign the fact that he’s a World Boss, so he doesn’t take crit dmg, that’s why we prefer classes that can convert a def stats in power and have alot of utility, stun breaker, and satbility.

Don’t look at the equip, just use your best for that build.

Checked ranger. Why use Valkyrie gear? Shouldn’t Soldier be better due, since Crit dmg does nothing to World bosses?

Not the exact place to learn about overclocking. Second DO NOT overclock with a laptop since you are stuck with whatever cooling the laptop came with.

Forgot to mention the drivers, which i would assume is they are referring to Video card drivers which you can just Google that to get the Radeon drivers.

^This. Overclocking without a proper fan/cooling system is just gonna melt your CPU. Same for the Card, if you want to see a difference.

If your server is inconsistent in its performance or simply lacks performance, good luck ever getting the maps done.

Change the server or wait until the next week. You will most likely switch points at reset. Also, you might get an easier opponent, thus taking over their stuff. Have some patience, World exploration isn’t something you do in a day anyway, neither is making a legendary(if you need the gifts).

The dmg output hardly changed(still 10 stacks of vul), but now you can combine the Hunter shot with Remorless Grandmaster trait(and Quick Draw) for additional 5vul every 10 seconds. Seems pretty kitten nice.

900 gems is too cheap. 1600-2000 seems a reasonable amount. You are changing far more than only your name(800 gems), I mean the change seems a lot bigger.

EDIT: Still not a fan of it and would rather see them ignore this proposal. If you want a class switch, just reroll.

The tag you are talking about is the Superior Sigil of Ice, which the Frostfang comes with it. When you transmute you will keep the skin/effects, even after switching that ice sigil for something else.

Probably just the cause of a sudden “popularity” of this item. The supply is low and I know for sure I have been competing with 3, 4 people on Monday and a few days before for this item. Had to buy it for 120g, since the next one was 10-20g more, when someone bought a cheaper one. Wasn’t really patient, but if you wait out it could well drop to around 100g, like it was a few weeks ago. This may take a few weeks more, but similiar spikes and drops happened in the past.

It really looks like both weapons have to be “vanilla”. When transmuting, you create a completely new item, which won’t fit into the Eternity recipe. Same with precursors.

Maybe Anet will look into it in the future(not fixing it, since it aint broken, just enabling it), but currently you are stuck with the transmuted one.

Try using your Bear for tanking and go zerker yourself, worked for me since launch. 30/30/5/0/5 is quite popular. Also maybe try out the LB instead of the SB. AoE attack and a push back, with some nice dmg.

Molten Facility is the only place that has those things. Similar to Snowflakes they seem a a limited resource.

The title you get is the big flashing weapon you can swing around. Beats any old title imo

It is if you have the Toy frame.(Plush Griffon Frame). You can’t get those anymore, everything else is on the Trading Post(stuffing, glue and dust)

The exotic name thing was fixed ages ago, but I doubt the transmuted legendaries will get ascended stats.

Well cooking has tons more freedom than all the other crafting proffessions. Others are very limited due to there being a limited number of armour pieces and stats combinations. And for rare recipes, we have the Mystic Forge. All the “hidden” recipes would be the same as the MF recipes are today, everyone knows them and selling them on the TP is more or less stupid, since the recipe is cheaper.

It’s completely random it seems. I have a weaker system and all boss events are 15 FPS for me, but are completely playable and responsive, also I have yet to disconnect (10Mbps/10Mbps connection, nothing special.)

Now that we’re talking longbow buff and survivability increase, can we rehash the wintersday scout conversation? I still really think Snowblind and Snipershot would just make Ranger Longbow.

Longbow skills are fine, but the weapon itself is very weak. Maybe a slight increase in dmg or/and fire rate?

Can’t be medium, since the shoulder on the left shoulder is too huge to be unseen.

Hopefully this never happens.

Pets are the biggest issue.
1) Allow complete disabling of pets
Running in Orr and my pet gets couple of hits -> slows me down. It’s super annoying.

2) Fix their AI
Yeah, biggest issue. For example: I am running around, my pet gets hit. It’s in offensive mode, so I press F3 and call it back. I stop few metres away and we kill a different enemy. For some odd reason, after killing this enemy, my pet would track down the previous one and attack it. This is one of the reasons my pets are named “Braindead”

3)Greatsword and Longbow fixes

GS: Damage increase, “Swoop” should stun/cripple, “Crippling Throw”(skill after pressing “Counterattack”) should have a larger range of throwing. You can see it hit the target, but it is “too far away”.

Longbow: Damage increase. A tiny bit faster shooting.

Cost me less than 2g, but i had some ingredients with me. Still, it shouldn’t be more than 2g.

AFAIK the moot is the only legendary that requires 0 lodestones of any type.

It’s one of, if not the cheapest legendary usable on land (the shield might be cheaper)

Never had problems with the lower levels. People get into positions and when everyone is ready, we all start at the same time. It’s easy, if you don’t face the boss…

Also heard they somehow nerfed the trolls quite some time ago.

It`s really sad how some weapons get less attention. Not only talking about Rifles, same goes for Longbows, Daggers etc.

We have 2 for the Longbow, but both require a Gift, which costs enormous amounts.

And then there is the Focus……
