I really want new modes, like capture the flag or king of the hill. But I can’t imagine that modes with bunker role.
Dragon Bash arena was great too. We need team deathmatch with bigger map to avoid aoe spam.

Yes, because it’s a MMORPG from Asia. That’s why it’s full of grind. But we’re in PvP topic and PvP in B&S is amazing and very competitive. I won’t be surprised if it wll succeed in e-sport.
B&S has amazing 1vs1 arena. And tournaments are very popular in Korea.
B&S has mass pvp too. I don’t know anything about that because 1vs1 was too amazing for me to try mass pvp.
You may laugh that this is MMOPORN or “boobs n soul” but I prefer silicone boobs with great PvP than normal boobs with bad PvP.

Mmmm… no? NCsoft were a publisher of GW2. They aren’t since last year but NCsoft still owns ANet (you know, they bought them).
Even though, NCsoft didn’t care too much about GW2. They didn’t care about Wildstar too.
NCsoft care about “their” games (asian games).
Can you just stop blaming “bad” NCsoft for everything? There’s no “ANet is busy because of China release” so now you’re focusing on NCsoft?

I’ve got a feeling like Herald is a main class and Revenant is a elite specialization.
I don’t want to see a longbow. Seriously, it’s pretty boring. And I’m afraid that next legend will be Eir with longbow…
I want to see some range weapon or pure caster weapon.
1. Rifle/pistols – What legend? I don’t know. Maybe a random pirate.
2. Scepter – Togo/Razah/Xandra legend – deal lightning damage with your weapon, use ashes as a bundle to gain new skill.
3. Scepter – Mhenlo/Tahlkora/Dunkoro/Ogden – offensive monk, cast Ray of Judgment (this one from GW1, not guardian focus skill).
4. Spear – Morgahn/Kerian Thackeray – songs, throw your spear
5. Scepter – Gwen – domination, AoE interruption skills
6. Focus – Apocrypha – use Reform Carvings to change yourself into Dervish (lol)
7. Greatsword – Veresh, Melonni, Kahmu, Mox – dervish skills that can be used for greatsword, AoE damage
8. Scepter – Saul D’Alessio – use spectral agony

I like this idea. Something like banners or ashes (ritualist skill) from Guild Wars 1. I’m really hoping for rev specialization with that mechanic – scepter in main hand, ashes (with banner mechanic) as skills and cast ashes as utlity skills. Pick up ashes for new set of skills.
Unfortunately, Mercurias is right. 10 skills of healing and buffs is a big NO NO in a game about DPS.

Will people ever learn? There’s a difference between “time wasting” and “time consuming”? Raids are “time consuming”. Masteries are “time wasting”. I’ve nothing against “wasting” 5 hours for wipes and learning to finally kill the boss but I refusee to take a part in masteries. They’re time wasting and they’re here only to hide lack of content.
Oh, and 2 sets of armor are a joke. A very bad one.
I’d never pre-purchased HoT. Will I pre-purchase 2nd expansion? If they’ll give me Cantha (unlikely), Cantha architecture (I’m looking at you Dominion of Winds) and/or Paragon, Alchemist (thief?) or Ritualist (yes, please) specialization then insta buy. If not, I’ll wait and see. I had faith in them and they disappointed me.
Also, communcation is so bad. I thought they’ve learned something.

Nothing new with keeps or towers. You still have to use siege weapon, you still have to destroy gate/wall, and you still have to kill keep lord. Even you claimed keep/tower it isn’t over. You have to protect that point for the remaining time.

I don’t want to sounds rude now but is there any mass pvp at 4:00 o’clock? Even if it is, you still can cap Towers. They would be vulnerable every 1.5h to avoid, “ok, nothing to do here”. You still can play as a roamer and you still have to defend camps.

Maybe it’s different in tier 1 but in lower tier I don’t feel any PvP. It’s just: go to point A > flip > go to point B > flip > go to point C > flip > go back to point A to defend > return to flipping.
I don’t feel that mass PvP like in Lineage 2 or Aion.
And it won’t get rid of zerging for a little. If you want to win, you have to split. Can you imagine 5 commanders icon at once? That would be amazing.
People didn’t like zerg tactic in PvE. Now we have Dragon’s Stand and it’s amazing because zerg had to split.
For example:
EVERY keep in EVERY map would be vulnerable to cap at 9:00 am. You have 45 min to cap it. Then and only then. After that time, you can’t cap it and you have to wait another 3 hours for a chance.
Same for towers but they would be available to cap every hour.
No time for supply camp. You need to defend them and escort doly if you want to survive in contested keep.
Postives?
No zerg. You have to split because everything is vulnerable to cap at the same time.
What do you think?
Are you surprised? 10 min is a lot of time and raid isn’t for 5 people. Also, everyone has a life and it’s not funny to wait 10 min when everybody knew about that raid.
Community in this game isn’t great. I don’t get any help in LA chat because everyone is busy. Chat is empty and dead. Only Mists and WvW are alive.
Just because someone sent you money it doesn’t mean that whole community is amazing. It isn’t.
Delete Druid > create Elementalist > ??? > profit.

I have one question. Does auto-target in action mode or/and snap ground targeting work on allies? Healing with the druid would be much easier if it does.
I didn’t have a chance to test this new map. I can’t speak for PvE content (I think it’s great that there’re events) but EotM isn’t farm map because there’re PvE events (are they?). EotM map is a farm map because ppl are random and winning there isn’t important so literally nobody cares.

It was about base healing for Celestial Avatar. He didn’t say anything about healing stat.

I like PvP in other games but here is so frustrating.
1. Why I’m getting a team as my enemy (2 or more players, can see from guild tags)? I really don’t care if some players from my team are in… a team. Nobody asked me if I want to join to the team made from team.
2. Why ANet removed solo queue? What’s so hard in making Random Arena from GW1? Too much money, too much thinking, too hard? Is ANet too busy with making 2nd expansion or GW3?
3. What’s going on with that scoreboard? Does it indicate something? Why some kittenbags keep saying to me “thx for runing the game” when they basically just camped to get 10 points and I was running around because standing with 3 players in one, uncontested spot doesn’t speed up anything? Is last player in scoreboard means bad player? Should I zerg with them?
With rewarding healing stats.

Just remove healing skills from every class and everyone (except Druid) will be unhappy.
Only base (without stats, traits etc.) healing in avatar form. They’ll do this to make healing stat more rewarding. I won’t surprised if we would end up with the same healing like in BWE3 but only in healing set.

In BWE3 you can heal with zerker set. If they’re going to reduce base healing they’ll force Druid to stay in healing set. Zealot is nice but expansive. Most ppl will end up with cleric set.
The problem is with GW2. Every spec makes damage and damage is always welcome. But nobody needs healing in base game. Druid will be usless outside HoT, WvW and PvP.

So I tired raid a little and now I see problems that I’ve not seen in WvW.
1. Healing with AoE is pretty hard. It’s easy when ppl stack (you don’t even have to ask about that in WvW, you’ll hit 5 ppl without a problem) but with 10 ppl, when they’re running around, it’s very hard. I don’t know how can you deal with it. Healing in Wildstar is really fun. You don’t click on UI but also you don’t have to place AoE. There’s some kind of rectangle going from your char and you just cast.
2. You can dodge healing. Really….
3. I was with PUG. I didn’t know what to do. Stay at range or in close fight? Staying at range was really hard but if staying in meele is intended, why didn’t you make healing “aoe around the caster”? Would be much easier to heal.
I think Anet’s going to have to boost the HP on all the bosses for Druid to see any use in old content. also the mechanics in most of the old content is too simplistic to really require constant healing, if the Druid did more dps on staff and burst healing in celestial form it wouldn’t be so bad.
Boosting HP won’t change anything. Fights will last longer but still without druids.
I tried raid today and could you explain me why do you need that? Maybe I’m totally noob but I didn’t even have a time to look at UI. I was just spamming healing and searching for orange cricles while avoiding the red ones. How did you manage to do that and also look at your UI?

You’re right. I tried daze + immobilize + healing build and it was fun. Traited stun lasts too long. Spamming immobilization is annoying for my enemy too, I guess. It was fun but I don’t want to encounter another druid with that build. And it’s too op in PvP and WvW so I think that ANet will nerf it.
But I disagree that ANet will change anything with Druid. They may add faster astral force gaining, bigger radius of #1 in celestial avatar, add some damage to tag or to kill enemy but that’s enough. They won’t revamp Druid and change healing into condition damage.
They needed 2 months to address issues with dragon hunter. I know that they won’t forget about specializations after release but I don’t believe in any big changes.

One last thing, Ancestral Wisp is pretty awesome and is quite the life saver!
Ancestral Grace > swap do greatsword > Swoop > swap to Ancestral Grace and repeat = AMAZING! Taking supply was so fast.
Reduced cooldown on Ancestral Grace to 10 sec would be even better.

Yesterday I’ve tried Druid and I felt in love. I want to heal even if I don’t get any loot for that (I hope they’ll fix tagging).
I want to prepare for HoT release and buy some gear. I would buy something with +power, +vitality, +healing power but there’s no set with that stats. In that case, I would craft Zealot set but I’m new and it’s waaaaay to expansive for me.
I don’t see any difference in healing between full cleric set and full celestial set, so I would like to make some damages too. I thought that I’ll mix cleric set with some power and vitality set. The problem is, I don’t know what stats are important in WvW and how much I need of that stats.
I’ve heard that 2k of toughness is a must in WvW. But I’ve also heard that toughness doesn’t work against conditions. If I die, I die mostly from conditions so shouldn’t I buy something with vitality stat?
Any tips?

I don’t have a build for Druid. I tried everything but I’ve ended up with pure healing and running near commander while spamming heals. So it looks like I’m going to be more into meele.

We wrote about the same thing in Druid Feedback. We don’t know how ANet’s going to handle that. We don’t even know if they’re going to do anything with that.
If yes, they can add small damage to skills to tag enemy or treat your healing like an assist in killing enemy (like in Rift, WoW etc.). First solutions seems cheaper, faster and easier to make but the second would help every heal-oriented build and future healing-specializations.
Mobs in Verdant Brink aren’t easy now because of the “issue” but because of Druid. He heals everything and everyone and you don’t even notice.
5: Sublime Convergence – Love this skill, only change I would make is make it a Light field.
currently it’s a water field, not in tooltip. please do not change this. it works great with the blast finisher.
3. Building astral power
I don’t know what to think about it. I understand how it works but I think that it’s easier for necromancer to build death shroud than for druids. It was easy to build it in zerg in WvW but with small, spreaded group, it was really hard to hit that cap.I’m running a celestial dmg/heal hybrid in conquest. in teamfights, by bar fills up in under 20 secs. I’m cranking out as much damage as I can and healing when I can. I was never in a situation when the avatar wasn’t available when I needed it. I have other problems in terms of survivability…having my bar empty definitely isn’t one of them.

Isn’t like celestial form = survivability? 20 sec is really long. Too long for tPvP.
As I said, it’s easier to fill that bar with zerg in WvW but when you’re alone or with people who are too far, it’s really hard.
But I changed my set to celestial and I don’t see any difference in my healing. I thought that I’ll go with full cleric set (full healing power) I’ll have amazing healing and very bad dmg. With celestial I’ve got almost the same healing and good dmg. Is it the problem with scalling?
Today I had another match in WvW and:
1) I’ve never been too good with PvP and I always died (as an engi or ranger) because of thief burst. Now, for the first time, I survived! I didn’t kill him but he couldn’t kill me either. And that’s something, I guess.
2) I don’t understand why Druid or Celestial Avatar don’t make any condi damage. Burning seems logical.
3) Ancestral Grace #3 skill on staff – I thought you fixed that bug. Sometimes, when I auto-run, I stuck after using Ancestral Grace.
4) Solar Beam #1 skill on staff – another bug that I thought you’ve fixed before. In logs I make ~200 dmg with staff but on screen I can see 11k damage and more. Damage text stacks.
5) Cosmic Ray #1 skill in Celestial Avatar – radius is too small, 360 radius (radius of lunar impact) would be great. Also, add 800 damage.
6) Lunar Impact – add 2-3k damage.
7) Natural Convergence – let us channel that skill while moving.
8) Resurecting player works with filling bar for celestial avatar. So why it’s doesn’t work regeneration?
I think that Celestial Avatar should be powerful. Not only in healing but also making damage. You made that game without healing class and you can’t change it. Something in that spec must making damage. Not only for tagging mobs but also for making you dangerous.
The problem is not with a druid but with specializations. Specs aren’t new classes, they’re 3rd trait line that adds new experience to your game. Classes have roles (bunker, support, dps etc.) because they can change their traits. You can’t make roles for only 3rd trait line. It’s impossible. But every spec has something with damage and Druid is making none. You may say, “swap weapon” but it looks like staff is needed to fill that avatar bar. For now, I feel like a bunker but I’m not in PvP, and that’s a problem with this spec.

I’m in love! 10/10 will main. I tried this spec only in WvW. I don’t have a guild for raids and I didn’t have time to check stronghold and creep healing.
1. Damage on staff
YES, I know that staff wasn’t made for damage but for support/healing (call it as you want) but I need to build somehow that astral force, right? Would be possible to add damage to skills from staff? Not to make some real damage and be OP class. Only to tag enemy players, nothing more.

And that’s bad. I thought it will work like death shroud for necromancer.

4. Fire Wyvern and Electric wyvern
I’ve never been too good with managing my pets but I don’t like their F2 skills. They use that skill around them. Seems logical but it’s not working too good, in my opinion.
I killed my enemy and I changed my target. I’m in zerg so I can’t see my pet. I thought that I saw my pet so I hit F2 skill. And what? Nothing. My pet was still behind me and used F2 skill in wrong place. Would be possible to make Consuming Flame and Lighning Assault targeted so my pet will use its skill at the target, not around himself?

Don’t you think that specializations for Revenant will be boring? Necro has new shroud, guardian has traps and new virtues, mes is having fun with time, engi has drones and hammer. Is Glint specialization going to be 5th legend?

I get the point but Thief [it’s to Griffith too] has traits that work with initatives (more points, faster recharge) and Revenant has nothing: no traits with base energy, no traits with lowering costs. Completely nothing.
If they’re going to leave it as it is, they need to change something with energy costs.
It’s only my opinion, and you may say that I’m completly noob aka’Press all the buttons! but I didn’t feel that this system (in BWE1) punishes me for spamming skills. Costs were too high, and for me it was completely unplayable.

Legends are the class mechanic. We relay on them. Weapons dont’t change with legends, they’re not part of the mechanic. We want to get rid of energy from weapon not from legends.
Heeey, take it easy on me! I’m just saying that because we have something to swap it doesn’t mean that is our class mechanic. Elementalist – you MUST swap if you want to survive; you make combo, dogde, heal and kite like a crazy but you must swap to survive (especially d/d). Do I need to swap kits to survive as an engi? Only for combo: plant bomb, destroy healing turret, use shield and you have combo. But you don’t have to play with switching like elementalist. I make damage from grenades, I switch to flamethrower only for one skill to make combo, and I use elixir gun if I need to heal. So mostly I use grenades.
As you can see there’s some synergy. You can’t see that in the Revenant.
It works with DPS – you make damage with s/s, no energy, you swap to next legend and it doesn’t matter which one because you use mostly use s/s not legend skills.
What about support/healing? To use ventari without waisting energy on hammer I need to become a static priest. Seriously? That is how I should play?
