This is Gladomer’s warrior build, if you dont know him he is a very good warrior and streams on twitch. I was wondering if this build i got from his stream any good? It seems low on power and precision.

as the title says what do you guys think is numba 1 in dueling for 1v1?

it actually takes a lot of skill to perform, you need to learn to manage stealth and consider when to go all in with your condi bomb or use your traps to maintain stealth. positioning is also key for trapper thief because post-hot classes have a lot of stealth reveal.

Alright Daredevil is almost in every thief build condi or power, the reason why people use it is because it uses aspects from the trait line acrobatics while also boosting overall damage and mobilty to the thief. Most thieves i know dont use staves unless they are pve but in wvw i recomend d/p because it is VERY strong rn and i also recomend to start practicing it because d/d will get you no where in wvw with all the toughness condi cheesers running around.

tbh just drop a stralth trap on your feet and wait. everytime someone does that to me i feel so useless with 30 sec of ‘revealed’

Suggestion for the future to add continuity for the players, create housing in the game so that players like me can afk in it. Maybe have crafting stations a bank, and a trade post, also you can invite others to your house and duel. And also have different house layouts so that rich players can have mansions and poor/new/me can have huts or shacks until they can afford an upgrade. These are just some suggestions that were on the top of my mind. I know anet will find something creative to envelope housing.

tbh it looks good but as you said its pretty selfish because it doesnt really provide boons or protection for your fellow frontline. just stick to the ganking role, which imo is waaay more fun

The enemy name plate only needs server + guild. For example instead of Ring of Fire Mithril Assaulter [Much], my name could only show up as RoF [Much].

this is pretty bad because commanders and such will need to know the rank of a player so they can call them out. exp.

Hey guys thanks for the support with the responses. Despite the marauder popularity i see from you guys, i am rocking full valk right now and i like it. It gives me as much power and fero as berserker but i have around 17.5-18k hp. I also dont have a problem with crit aswell because i have around 47% – 50% crit with sharpening stone and precision+vitality food. Plus fury brings me up to 70% crit, so all and all im doing great with valk atm.

Not a #1 priority change to WvW, but it would make the game more beautiful if there was seasonal changes in ebg and bl’s. Instead of certain zones expiriencing rain or snow have it randomly vary everywhere. Theres nothing more dramatic than 1v1’ing someone in the dark snowy night, somewhere other than north half of bl ofc.

I’m deciding to switch my ascended gear to full mara or full valk for wvw on my thief, but i dont know which one would be better for overall damage + vitality, any of you guys have these sets and willing to share opinions?

This is my first gw2 edit with my thief. I didnt know what i was doing lol but its just a short two clips that i recorded while playing wvw for an hour or so.

Ive been playing thief for a good year and have full ascended berserker gear, however whenever i roam with friends, i always get melted down super fast. i want your opinions on how i can still maintain good burst while having decent defences with my gear.
Goals:
• the 17-18k life
• 2700+++ power
• 50% + crit

Ive tried various things like soldier/zerk and zerk/valk but sold gives me way less burst and valk doesnt improve my health that much while also reducing my crit % …

I wanted to try something unique than your standard thief.

I am an avid GW2 player and i enjoy the pvp scene. I also like playing a lot of counter strike aswell. What if arenanet makes a round-based gamemode that will make each player have one life for each round. It will make the game more suspenseful and fun to play because it will add a “survival” aspect to the game and the 1v2/3/4/5 clutches!

I know that my thief isn’t superior to anyone else’s, but i can fairly say that I am experienced on thief and i know how to play my role. But the same can’t be said to the people who are new to the game, heart of thorns is suppose to bring in new players. Not kick them out by one of these ^.

i like daredevil with staff, i think its good, great mobility 8k crits on vault and i feel that i have a dodge up all the time. Only problem isnt as flashy as other classes

The title pretty much implies it, lower the elite spec point requirement. Id say 200 points is reasonable.

Edit: I get that the point of having the requirement of 400 points is to encourage players to explore the expansion more, but in my opinion i want to get my elite spec quicker so i can actually USE it to progress with my story and kick mordrem kitten . It would be cooler if i could play the elite spec you gave us instead of lolygagging around with my build i ran for over 2 years… it takes me an average of 40 minutes to 1 hour for ONE hero point
