0/30/0/20/20 will become popular for burst S/D builds or a variation with 30 points in earth.
0/0/20/30/30 will be the new full bunker for d/d. I don’t know about condition builds with the new 30 point trait in earth 10% conversion to condition damage is also good for condi builds.
Staff is getting buffs with after cast’s reduced allowing you to put more skills down faster.
D/D standard 0/10/0/30/30 will still be viable it took a slight damage hit with the nerf to bountiful power but it will still be good. I don’t see much changing as far as d/d is concerned. It is a nerf to damage but 5% total down from 10% doesn’t break the build if we assume 5 boons usually.
if we could use 80 trait points maybe!

Like people mentioned you can precast (lets say you’re not using any voicecom, just look at health bars and you’ll know when to use it) and even if you don’t people will most likely be focusing the downed target while you can stay at 1200 range and ress that person.
It might be viable for some time cause people have no experience on how to counter.
But after a while people will know what it does and will try interrupt you.
Then it would become mandatory to run it with stability.And then people will adapt by not killing your target or stealing/removing your stability.Which is still good cause you buy your teammate time ?But then again you dont pressure them you just force them to change their target focus which could be achieved with so many other ways

Cause its like almost 5 sec cast time and also seems buggy in a lot of attunement versions..
Ultimas team should try it so we get to see how it functions on high end tpvp!!
You can also start casting it it from really far away and use lightning flash towards the corpse. Good luck countering that.
Either way, imagine you do get it interrupted, the rest of your teammates should be focusing on ressing the downed target and the opponent team will lose 1 dps by trying to focus you. Its way easier to counter the Necromancer ress signet over the ele ress glyph due to ele having the teleport / stability the necro misses despite the cast time. At the same time if you’re interrupted you’ll have it back for the next downed target and so on.

Get this horrible map SPIRIT WATCH out of the rotation. Take Temple out of it as while you are at it.
What is exactly wrong with Temple? It matches the other games style and the only ‘game breaker’ is the capture that grants you all the capture zones. And that only happens near the end of the game and either ends a game that is lopsided faster or gives a chance to a team that is 100ish points behind to win.
I agree, Temple should stay but I also agree that Spirit Watch should be removed and a Daily map change would be better than just 2x a week. (I also think the water level should be completely removed from the game no one seems to like that map, I cant even remember its name because I really dislike that map)
Temple is one of the best maps and everyone knows the water area needs tweaking. Specially because of the skills since you’ll need the water to jump and not die just like Jonathan Sharp mentioned it last sotg.

You need to wait until Custom Arenas are out of beta and then you must get a Custom Arena Starter Kit. Save your tokens, you can’t use them now but you will be able to in the future.
The rewards definitely need re-work. I’ll start by saying I agree with the suggestions and obviously everyone wants to look cool but ranking up is just not worth it and a complete waste of time in my opinion. Ssince anything can be better than the situation we’re experiencing I’ll just hop out to what the PvP community will actually need (skins are skins), lets look at the so called Custom Arenas.
We players don’t know how many Gems one starter kit will cost so I’m not going to refer to it, but we do have access now to Custom Arena time tokens which are at the Gem Store.
Lets take a look at the prices: 480 Gems = 20 Days Extension (ATTENTION: IN PROMOTION). As of this precise moment, to buy that amount of Gems with ingame currency you need 16 gold and 27 silver.
For the many players we have who just PvP that’s just an insane amount of gold they can’t obtain even if they spend most of their time playing. (I’ll leave here just a though: does Arenanet want PvP players to be associated to PvE guilds so that these can easily buy those custom arenas for a team that represents them? I don’t think anyone really wants this, but still a viable solution for many).
I’m not asking for gold as a reward from PvP but consider all the Glory Points people have stored and have nothing to spend them on (and also all the mats from salvaging the amount of chests you gain). They’re useless at the moment.
When I got to rank 50 I used about 50k glory and got all the amour sets that are the “new” ones from rank 50 to rank 60 (this last rank I’m not even going to bother farming since it’ll take forever to achieve already) and still i got over 300k Glory just standing by and here is where the Suggestion #1 Bai mentioned comes up. Making every single skin purchasable with glory is the best thing PvP players could ask for. Instead of aiming for a rank (and giving up because of the amount of time it’ll take), players could aim for a glory amount to get the skin they actually want. The chests we see right now are just bad.
As for rank specific stuff the endless finishers do sound really cool. Another thing is, imagine me ranking from 50 to 51.. what do I get? Just a chest I could easily buy with 1k glory when I farmed 75k to rank up. Now could someone explain where this makes any sense? We have so many ranks just because PvE max level is also 80? Because to me this sistem is the same as:
1 – 9 = Rank 0 → 14500 Rank points
10 – 19 = Rank 1 → 43500 Rank Points
20 – 29 = Rank 2 → 82500 Rank Points
30 – 39 = Rank 3 → 180000 Rank Points
40 – 49 = Rank 4 → 480000 Rank Points
and so on..
It just matters if you’re 10, 20, 30 ,40, 50 mid ranks aren’t even rewarded (sorry but 1 chest isn’t a reward to me).
Now about dailies, why would someone want just 1 Orb, or 1 Sliver, or 1 Powder, or 1 Crystal? They aren’t even worth the same in the mistic forge. You did add laurels and to be honest I already have over 100 which I’m not using for anything,
tl:dr: Please take a look at the sugestions the players are giving you and make playing PvP feel worth it, I know many good suggestions are still going to appear on this thread. The laurels you added may have given you the so called 3% more PvP players someone mentioned sometime ago but that’s just because it takes a lot less time to play 3 hot joins in PvP other than doing PvE daily for PVE PLAYERS (they’ll just go back to LA right after..). You said you’re in a fixing bug stage other than class balance etc, so you should consider this being on the mid top of your priority list.

Rarely used because everyone ran bunker eles.. As for dps it’s a mandatory skill.

And that’s how it always worked! And it makes sense when you’re closer to the targets it makes more damage as you’ll also take more damage by standing near them. They didn’t say anything about this change in fact.

I do want to keep playing Elementalist in SPvP but you don’t even announce all the nerfs. As I’ve always been against playing bunker ele specs I don’t really mind those changes and I do think they were all good except for the Ride The Lightning which I’ll get used to eventually. But now.. Why the hell was Arcane Wave damage lowered to as much as Arcane Blast when it should be twice as much? Where’s the build diversity you guys want to create when you’re completely killing my dps?
Please give all the Elementalists an answer on this.

And I fully agree on expanding CA-access to the top 100. But I think as some of the players in the top 50 will have more than 1 CA with their team, CAs can be lent. Still, expand it to the top 100.
If this is also the reward for the QPs, why not give the highest ones the longest access without having to pay for a time ticket.
If not, also fine I guess.

You can put any of the jewels (found in the second page) in any of the amulets (found in first page) just by replacing. For example you can have a Berzerker Amulet with Soldier Jewel. All the merchant sells is what is avaliable, doesn’t depend on rank.
It’s their decision although I think it should make no harm..

Yes, I did try making builds working with it but it led me to nothing. Didn’t mention anything about warrior because I’ve barely touched one so don’t know if there’s any similar trait like there is for elementalist. Indeed I only activate it at the worst possible scenario when I can’t clear any condition and just need the extra heal to keep myself up (this while being a berzerker elementalist, I doubt bunker ones even have the need to use it in the first place). About the cast time, since we’re talking about signets I don’t think there would be much sense in taking cast time away from signet heals while other signets would still have it. Take for example necro signet for ressing people instantly without able to counter it. So I guess this explains why they have and will always have a cast time.

2 team tournaments are the new hot joins, hot join servers have less people nowadays
Ok this happened to me before but never in the beginning of the match, as you can see i start 15 seconds later and enemies already have 5 points.
Also while duoqueuing had a fight where two people didn’t rally from stomping necros, anyone else experienced this?
happened to me once when someone had the orb and dc’d (not logoff but actual internet loss)
