Action Camera Crosshair Issue

Hi Dev teams,

I would like to ask for a small action camera cross-hair adjustment, I have been experiencing this issue for a very long time now since its been introduced.

This particularity happens in open world/raids bosses or any kind of meta events. I’m using ICM+action camera so when the fight triggers the cross-hair automatically moves up really high and after the boss fight it zooms in to almost to the ground level. I need to manually re-adjust the FOV every time with arrow keys which is very inaccurate to the exact point i need the cross-hair to be, so when rearing the FOV/camera auto zooms out during boss fight/events, it’s impossible to fire ground targetting skills directly underneath or near the character.
I have attached images below hope to explain better of what I meant.

TL;DR: Please devs make adjustment to the cross-hair that its location on the screen is fixed, no matter how further you zoom out/in, just like the commander tag, it always sits directly above the character height.

Been waiting in que since reset, either its the lag or too much spamming, instant 100+ que no matter how fast u spam the portal. So sitting in TS listening the farm the fights… over time que moves slowly and 3hours later FINALLY got in, then the main commander tags down cos ‘’prime time’’ is almost over, and it doesnt matter if another tags up cos its late i got an early shift job cant stay up all night and play.
It’s been like this since the update, i havent even got to see eb or bl, thanks anet, gj!
Sorry i dont post rant threads like this but after a week wasting evenings like this is seriously starting to kitten me off.

Instant 100+ Q’s since reset on all bls…. 3 hours now and still in que and it has stopped moving the past half an hour, by the time i get in prob need to log off cos of early working hours. Gj anet! :/

Hi there! Just wanted to say thank you very much for this festival, this is my first time seen this event and I had sooooooo much fun everyday with a friend, really! the new discovering, the frustrations and a total 1,267 R.I.P hahaha. I have about 195GB of recordings in there, unlocked all the achievements, lots of items and minis and nearly 1k clouds for guild hall decoration (gonna try to make a mini SAB garden out of them!)

I heard its once a year so I cant wait to see it again, thank you again for this adventure!

About 60-62 days if u just casually pug it through, if u have a dedicated group it will go mush much faster. i did mine just a couple of achivements everyday and saved all the clips of making it:

I completely agree with this, please stop auto adjusting the FOV (massive zoom in and out) unless the player adjusting him/herself.

And yea Ider, Necro can do this at ease, in fact Necro is one of best solo classes atm in fractals. I have also seen Chrono, Daredevil, Engi and Druid does it. There are other classes might even be more efficient, just not many people are interested in solo nowadays.

Hi guys,

After a couple of days’ try, I decided to upload the full kill using discipline trait line, it’s not the fastest compare to tactics or even defense trait using duo swords and longbow, power build might still be better but it’s my best out of the 3 runs

The hardest part is not mai herself but the flux bomb and sharpshooter at last phase

Viper/Sinister, Sword/Sword /Shield condi spec, more details at the end of the fight. Hope you enjoy it and thanks for watching! <3

Hey guys, after 2 months, I finally made it!! It was such a painful journey to me but eventually I toughed it out. This project started out 70 days ago that I wanted to make a diary/narrative type of video to show the entire progression. It doesn’t take that long tbh but I ragequit alot pugging lol. I recorded every single challenge mote, collections and achievement moments. Thanks to all who encouraged me and helped me in all the runs, it was all worth it!

I like the current system actually. But they could let us modify the UI. Since the release of GW2 Anet is extremely stubborn to let us change it. We can’t have additional side bars for food, tonics, gizmos etc. We can’t have additional weapon slots to change out of combat. We always have to open the kitten inventory. It’s so annoying. Why won’t they let us modify the GUI?

No thank you. The system is about syntax complexity, not about structural complexity (Its about smart combination, not brute accumulation). The new “extra button” for “ancient magicks” is already destroying this beautiful balance. Please don’t add more unnecessary buttons.

Agreed, please remove camera auto zoom in and out, especially after the boss fight it zooms in to almost to the ground level that we have to manually re-adjust the FOV everytime. Whats the point having a field of view scale in options when the game auto changes itself as well. At least make the zoom in after boss fight to where the player set in option. Thanks.

Another QoL improvement is remove auto zoom out and in when engaging a particular boss, especially please dont zoom in to almost on the ground when the boss is dead and have to manually adjust every time. Customize and set the FOV will be helpful as well.

Hi guys, I would like to add my suggestions to the list, those are what could improve the game IMO.

At the bottom of my inventory:

The 1st row: I believe need to increase the stack counts to unlimited.
Reason: They are acquired in numerous ways and also for fractal frequent runners, no real use for them on daily basis for me, unless in huge amount in quantities.

The 2nd row: We should be able to deposit them, as well as any upcoming trophies and map consumables.
Reason: There’s no actual use on a daily basis except in large quantity for specific crafting or trading. Trophy section in material storage would be awesome.

The 3rd row: They should be converted into the wallet tab instead of clogging up in inventory.
Reason: They are map currencies much like geodes, gold etc so there’s no need in storing or clicking on them from inventory or bank.

That’s all I could think of for now, thanks for considering!

I was repeating the entire instance over and over again because the npc like garn and frostbite keep kittening pulling the adds away from the pillar or out of the boss charge range, so yea repeat boss mote please and remove the kittening npcs

I launch gw2 via this ever since I started playing the game, u can disable all the story, events hearts etc and u can customise all the UI in game. Like xp level, xp bar, screen orders, mini map, top left corner icons… Pretty much everything

I have no problems with tiny girls weaving out-scaled weapons if you have checked all the screenshot links, they are all pretty huge weapon types. It’s the combat animation doesn’t have the feeling of the character wielding it with ease and combo her power with it.

You can also check that last link of the animation in slow motions, it’s pretty awesome when the weapon is like part of the character.

I get it, it’s a fantasy game no need to think too realistic into it, but they don’t look godly either just suffering by DRAGGING it everywhere, no matter how big or small the greatsword is. It doesn’t have the feeling that the weapon is part of the character’s power, for example:

New elite "Spellbreaker" Dagger/Dagger

Dagger/ dagger is quite interesting allowing more hidden ranged attack " dagger throw" for example if that’s the case, Warriors lack of viable range weapons since bow is rarely used unless condition raid build, rifle is just awful in dun/fractals.

What I really keen on warrior new spec is perhaps a 2h axe or 2h scythe with possible animations like this:

Ascended/legendary gear inventory bag?

Hiya,

Can I request the game to add this type of inventory bag in the game please? be it as 10 or 12 slots etc

The reason why I ask this is I don’t know how many ppl have this sort of problem: when running dungeons or fractals with higher efficiency, u need to swop weapons quite a bit, I’d imagine warriors like myself or eles, thief etc, particularly when u do 2 handed into a 1 hand weapon sometimes offhand gets to push back below loots and when u need it again u have to scroll down inventory to find it or drag them up again. This is quiet frustration for me and I think ascended gear bag will filter loots out, so u always know exactly where ur weapons are.

We already have material type bag, consumable type bag, rare gear type bag in the game currently, adding ascended/legendary gear bag can be a very nice feature for the game too!

P.s I like to keep my inventory open most of the time, minimum size on the side, the hero panel can help but it’s a bit too large on the screen for me..

I think the only way to get more people run dungeons, at least to revive them, is to have a separate daily for them like fractal daily. Put some reasonable reward and I’m sure this daily will encourage runs.

Hi there!

I’m Nanners, about a year ago I was truely inspired by the speed record runs and solo kill videos from some of the best high end pve guilds, I had a goal: to get better and eventually become one of them, so I practiced with my old buddies everyday duo or low-man some dungeons back then but due to personal reasons and irl I took a long break from the game.

Now i’m back and eager to continue persuing this goal, but I found myself alone most of the time so I wonder if there are any inspiring trainers out there can help me making some progress? or a hardcore guild of like minded ppl want to improve in hard pve content on a daily basis?

My main class is Warrior and im on EU server (Desolation)

Hello, I would like to report a new feature added to the Dec 1st path about WvW:

“Once an objective has been captured, a small pop up window shows up telling you that the objective can be claimed if your guild has priority.”

This pop up feature automatically disable action camera everytime a camp or tower is captured. I would like to request to change it as a background broadcast message, in order to respect action camera behaviour. Sould anyone wish to claim it, they can toggle back to normal mouse mode to click it.

Nah.. There wont be any spamming, when A sends a request to B, B gets a notification on the pending list with the option to accept/decline, if B doesnt choose anything the request will be on pending forever. Where as for A if he desides to spam or send again, the system will notify “you have already requested to add B as friend”

This is from another game which works really well cos at the moment the problem is i have so many ppl on my follower list i have no idea who they are and when they added me but they can see my online/offline status and locations (as if i already accepted) which i dont want to show to them. Its a privacy issue.
However if 2) and 3) are implemented, this cld be partly solved.

So, essentially what you are asking for is a way to have options like “Receive Whispers”:

  • From All
  • From Friends and Guild Members
  • From Friends
  • None

This seems like a reasonable feature request.
If Player A is on Player B’s friends list, but Player B isn’t on Player A’s friends list, how does that interaction work out?

Would this also extend out to things like mail?

(Please note this does not mean that this will happen, won’t happen, is planned to happen, and or not planned to happen)

My suggestion for chat/privacy improvement: (better experiece from other mmo games)

1) Get rid of follower list pls, when A sends a friend request to B, it shld be shown as “pending” on both till B accepts, not automatically appears on A’s list.

2) When in offline mode, allow us to send and receive guild and party chat.

3) Option to choose to be visible and able to receive pm from all/friends/guild/none.

4) When block or been blocked by someone, both shld show as offline without any additional info

Of all the weps in the game, apart from what we already have, torch is the most fitting one for warrior imo, semi-melee and none magical.

I have always loved condi or dot builds in any game so I’m looking forward to Longbow/Sword + torch meta for pve! HYPE!

Hello community!

I’m having some trouble finding the perfect class or build when it comes to dungeons, fractals and general pve.

I have always played smth like supporting party with heal and dmg reduction, or anything with heavy aoe CC/grouping or debuffing mobs thus increase everyones dmg, because i believe team synergy is more important than personal performance.

But this game seems every class has heals and some degree of CC and debuff but none is specifically good at anything. So i need help finding that class that my party can rely on me so they just need to focus on dishing out max dmg.

[Suggestion] WvW population balance

Hi Devs,

I came here today to propose a simple suggestion to improve the current wvw situation.

My server is Desolation, its status is “full” but we are constantly outnumbered cos of lack of wvw players (ironical is it?), the past few weeks we have lost a number of commanders and players since they transfered to more active t1 servers because of the opponent zerg pressure. It has been an increasingly unpleasant experience when we have around 15 upto 30 players on tag facing massive 80 man blobs.

Perhaps its time to take a look at this number issue?

Suggestion: instance based maps

Please allow me to explain: an instance on a wvw map contains for example, 150 players max (50 on each side), when a new player joining a full-instanced map on his server, the game will automatically create new instances, and there will be an option to switch to other instances or as soon as a spot opens up on a full one.

A fair fight of 20vs20 or 40vs40 is awesome, but overrrun by 3 times the size is just unplayable, its not entirely players’ fault that wvw is not balanced and charging £30 for an transfer is unreasonable, plus that would only makes this matter worse.

Thats just my suggestion, there must be alot more ways to improve wvw from other players’ feedbacks on this forum that worth considering.

Hiya, as we all know each race has its own unique racial bonuses however marginal they affect the endgame, still its nice to have this option either acquired via Gem store or unlock it by achivement etc.

I admit it’s not impossible re-roll from scratch and it means more play time stats for the game, but I believe not everyone is thrilled about the idea to have to start over yet again, considering the tidious map completion and the population unbalances in eotm, but thats an other issue.

It just occured to me that this wld be a win-win situation: nice cash boost for ArenaNet and players are more encouraged to discover the aspects of other races. It’s definately something worth considering as an expansion feature IMO. I wonder if u think the same or not a big fan of it?

I still dont understand why there isnt a population limit on an instance.

For example 3 worlds, max up to 100 ppl each on one instance and when u enter eotm at the time when an instance is filled up, u will be moved to a newly created instance etc.

Maybe its just me but green always seem to have over-populated unbalances than other colours.
