yeah, try just circlestrafing inside the fields and never stand still. (pop invis and) get out if your health drops too low. try candied dragon roll as food for more sustain.

I’m pretty bored right now and in general with gw2 and want to do a pet damage only dungeon run. I would be a very happy man if there were any people around to join me.
I’m willing to do any path but stuff like hotw23, se2, arah4.
All damage can only come from pets like:
Ranger pets
Necro minions
Engi turrets
Guardian ghost waepons
Mesmer clones
Ele elementals
Consumable summons

Other skills are ok as long as they don’t damage enemies.
Debuffs are ok (“On my mark”)

I would probably start off doing p3 or p1 because they don’t have a lot of bosses with too many different skills. in p1 though, the skips are a bit harder (if you are planning on skipping stuff which is usually done here). If you have a warrior I would go with that just because you have a way easier time and you can help your team with offensive buffs. also beneficial are classes with a lot of reflects like guardian and mesmer because a lot of enemies use strong projectiles.

get your fgs ready for groups with stone touches and dps them down before they can hit you. you can los them on the lieft side right before the entrance to the malrona cave.
what I also found helpful was lava tomb (adept trait in fire). It’s like an 8s lava font when downed which is really good for rallying. also try staff and cast a meteor shower before they get to you.

I’d really like to join your guild to offer my help. I pretty bored right now, because pretty much my entire guild stopped playing. I know a lot about the current meta builds for all classes, dps- optimization, and group compositions. I’m very confident in running almost all popular dungeon paths (cm and hotw only p1) and I’m able to solo most encounters in arah p1-3 including lupi most of the times. I don’t think that I would be too great in actually leading a bunch of beginners through a path but I would join any groups to fill them up and maybe I’d even learn something new. I have all classes at 80, played a decent amount of time and fully geared up with exo/ascended. joining ts3/skype is ok for me as long as noone expects me to talk too much. I’m not quite the talker

just tested it. you can’t reflect or block(soa, shelter) the projectiles with guardian skills. And I sincerely doubt that you can reflect or block them at all.
edit: draconx is right. untraited wardens seem to work

or if you happen to be norn: try bear form/snow leopard form for ridiculous charges/stealth uptime. skill 5 for bear and skills 3,4,5 for snow leopard.

What is the best Rune for a Mesmer with a build centered around reflections and phantasms in dungeons? Is it scholar? I heard the 10% bonus won’t apply to phantasms

I just got an ascended chest (carrion, argh) from a lvl 30 maw daily chest. funny thing: in the same chest I got a fractal dagger, hehe.

Assassin stats sound perfect for my 10/30/0/30/0 reflection mesmer though.

I’m planning on making a Reflections Montage / Reflections Guide
because I’m sick of the fact that almost all mesmers I encounter doing pugging, don’t use reflections at all and spamming either GS or Staff.

With the video I want to show people how amazing Feedback etc. are and how much damage you can deal/ group support you can provide with reflects.

If you have any ideas of amazing spots/dungeons/enemies where you can use reflections and giggle about big numbers or just how awsome you are, please let me know :-)

I also recently startet with engineer and had some difficulties. With the engi you can’t just run around with 2 signets and one F-skill. You have to use all of your skills (14) in combat while moving and dodging. Imo this can only be achieved if you rebind most of your skills to somewhere near wasd. It is possible to use things like “shift+anything”.
after I changed the bindings I now feel much more comfortable, deal more damage and die less often. :-)
