Can you provide East Coast guilds with free transfers to Euro servers since we don’t mean anything to Anet anymore?

Most of my people are east coast and I think it’s better on Friday evening. Splitting the weekend, generally the most active time for gamers to play between two different matches wasn’t fun.

Neither is not playing on friday because reset is at 10 est or not playing on saturday because everyone else played on reset. This is 1 step forward 3 steps back

Great so now us East Coast residents have nothing to do on Friday or Saturday night in the game.

We will just add this to the list of things ANET Hates:
1. Rangers
2. Anything Below T1
3. WvWvW ers in general
4. East Coast Residents
5. PvP balance
6. Dungeons (Almost forgot this one)

New reset time is actual kitten. RIP east coast wvwers. Now we have no reason to log in friday night or saturday at all GG anet kitteners.

It’s ok the Anet kitteners only play on T1 so this thread will vindicate them, in their own mind, for all the kitten moves they’ve made in the past. In reality only people that go there beyond t1 are EOTM fans.

Please for the love of god. DO NOT TOUCH anything furthing WvW. All you do is kitten it up further and further with every change. No one on the east coast wants to start reset at 10pm est. Is ANET that kittening dense?

WHY IS IT ALWAYS 1 step forward and 5 steps back when you make changes to WvW?

This is terrible. Maybe anet devs should get of the T1 servers there is no way this could be fun unless youre an omni blob.

TLDR – the changes are kitten, anet really knows how to kill medium to low pop servers.

Seems they all want us to move to Mega blob servers with crappy changes no small group no havok no roaming. Ive ran for 3 hours in wvw and saw 1 enemy. Everythin is fortified on their maps. RIP WvW. Nothing to see here as dead as EoTM.

Anet what drugs were you on when you thought this was a good idea. Every change youve made to wvw made it worse and worse for low pop servers. So sick of it.

Yeah this is terri-bad. Unless you are a t1 mega blob there is nothing you can do, and it takes hours to get anywhere. RIP wvw

This new BL is absolute garbage. It kills small man groups and unless youre on T1 or T2 mega map blobs I can’t see this being any fun. RIP WvW. Maybe now I can teach these rich boi PVE’rs what a stun breaker is and how to dodge.

Anet- Why your US servers SO kitteny?

Anet doesn’t care this has been an ongoing issue since october of 2014. Every patch day you better get it by 6:40 est or you wont get it until around 11 40 est. sometimes changing your shortcut to Program Files (x86)\Guild Wars 2\Gw2.exe" -assetsrv 93.188.135.37:80 helps but not today my friend.

Only since October. /sigh anet really passes the buck on this. If you try to download during NA primetime I can’t even get the updater to get a full update.

and then launch it using the shortcut with the new command

That should work albeit slow, but you can still eventually download it. The only other thing you could try is to get home really early from work and download it when no one is on.

Youre lucky if you can download the patcher. Anets kitten has been kittened up for a long time.

So new conspiracy theory… This is a result of overzealous server flood protection due to lizardgroup or whatever those script kiddies who shut down game servers are. It started around the DDos attacks they put against anet servers. Since then I can’t recall them ever getting through again, but the rest of us suffer.

the suggestion to change the target server worked for me eventually still slow as kittennnn.

This has been an ongoing issue for months now. every new patch is a lost day of gaming for me.

chicago is a major hub I have been having this issue withthe patcher not downloading since the 2nd or 3rd mad king patch. Something is broken. Anet says its not them, but i dont care, let us pull the patches from the website kitten . I can download at 18mb/s from newsreader and i get 0-2 kb/s from you. Something is not right.

same issue different patch. I wish they would really fix this. everytime there is a patch we get locked out of playing. All my money goes to steam now anyways.

So on top of the fact that I went to great lengths to get these all last year and dump them in the forge; Using my frames and lots of gold so i could craft the Endless Toymaker golem. Now you have bugged the most recent collection achievement so that I cannot get credit for the Endless Toy Golem Tonic I have from last year. The ventari tonic I had from last year allowed me to add it to my collection today with no problem, and a few days ago i swore i saw this tonic in my collection tab but it will not allow me to add it any more. What gives, did you change something recently that broke this?

Why would we all have Kitteny times and download speeds with the pre patch download, but get 100 kb/s plus when downloading the actual update? This makes no sense. What is different between those IPs, or ports ANET?

If you are an at&t uverse customer using the 2wire modem. Open your router gateway i.e. open 192.168.1.254 in your browser address bar. Under settings then under firewall change the settings to allow all applications (DMZplus mode). Hit save. Open the GW2 client. You should then be able to download the client and patch. I tried to manually enter the ports for gw2 and that didn’t want to work, but this worked and is what I did last patch where I had same issue.

Opening a DMZ on your PC is probably not the best option, make sure you close that back up.

7 more restarts later i finally got the patcher completed! Kitten yeah, now i am cruising at 130 KB/s Anet your patcher is Kitten.

Nope afet making it 5157 KB – I got the dreaded Connection errors detected retrying (that never retries) Looks like another force close from task manager is in order.

^ this man speaks the truth…. TThis only happens with GW2 patches. I pull decent downloads everywhere else. I am stuck at 5167 KB on the installer atm. after force quiting using the task manager to get a decent connection but i have a feeling it is going to stall here…. Sigh. They broke something around the halloween patch and now it is FUBAR!

Yeah togo i task managered closed about 5 times and finally got a decent 23 kb/s it still stalls but i am up to 4200 KB on the installer file so it should be almost complete! then i can wait another hour or 2 for the downlaod and play!

They did respond on a post in the other forum. They pointed the finger at everyones ISP. Which is odd since I can concurrently download 11 mb/s from my Newsreader account but yet cant get 1kb/s stable from their patch server. Their updates broke something.

And yet it happens again…. cant download the download installer without it connection error. worked fine when i started up today. Every patch that hits it is the same old kitten.

I can confirm I am being routed through Level 3 servers in Chicago. Probably have a serious problem there. I am sure level 3 is working kitten resolving it… and by working hard I mean pointing the finger at someone else, standard practice in the IT industry. LOL
