Because the hype train got massively derailed, no matter what anyone says the lack of WvW and the push for Esports hurt players who play these formats, PvE was 4 maps.
I personally enjoy HoT, but it was not an expansion, it was paid for DLC, but from reading the blog posts from Anet, it seems they are working on a new expansion, so maybe we will see a full expansion this time.
Also what is hurting is really replay ability on the new maps, I made Nevermore at the weekend and honestly I have no incentive to go back to the HoT maps anymore, ive completed them all 100times over, newer players reading these forums or reading in game, who haven’t bought HoT are really seeing no reason too.
If the last expansion was not full then what will this full expansion cost?
It will give you an option to upgrade and save settings. If you run it during boot up it will search for previously installed windows and ask you what to do. You also can just put the disc in while your in windows and it will ask if you want to upgrade. Why wouldnt you just do the free upgrade?
With all that luck are all your drops like rare and exotic? Just wondering mine is very low in comparison.
Auto loot doesnt seem very auto to me i still have to hit a key.
Nothing, most likely never will get one. Though my luck I’ll get something the day before the servers shut down for good just to spite me.

I kinda see where the op is meaning. I always thought it strange a mes had a gs but he doesnt really swing it around like a gs so in theory he could hold up anything to channel the attack through.
I wonder if running in windowed mode it doesnt focus on gpu?
I dont know but when I play pve i hear my cards ramp up and see it happen on my evga monitor. My cpu doesnt seem to get taxed very hard. Although i have noticed in certain world boss areas with alot of people the gpu will drop down along with fps seems odd it should be at full.

I was on a morter and got hit with charge 12x in a row. Now that seems a bit excessive.
Never understood why when I click retreat he attacks the closest enemy next to him. I’d like to see that fixed.

Fishing wouldnt be a big deal, fishing spots and receipies. They could make it like r/l where you have to sit in one spot for hours.
Im figuring all sylvari will become the enemy. If you have a sylvari every non sylvari will see you as an enemy and vice verse, so you could be attacked anywhere even in cities, even by npc unless your at the sylvari home or base. Also you can attack any non sylvari, pve, www, etc. should make things interesting.

The G32.. Processor is a very good cpu and can run gw without a problem. The concern i have is just recently Far Cry 4 wouldnt allow the game to start with this cpu since it was seen only as a dual core. I know this was a limitation put in by the developer and with out it it would run fine,heck they may have fixed this. My point is future games may require more than 2 cores.
I am going to say no. The cpu and gpu seem out of place on that system. Go with at least a core i5 and if you like amd an r9 gpu or equivilant . Yes as mentioned the liquid cooling is definately not needed in that setup and the r5 is def. old.
If its green and you are in a jungle could you even see it? Should be like hunter orange.

Same issue here… Brilliant, just brilliant update the game during prime time…..Why would you want to push out an update during prime time knowing that a ton of people will be slamming your servers all at once instead of say 2am.

Not sure what overturned means but I found the fight tedious. It doesn’t take long to figure out then it’s just time consuming. Then its a whole lot of dodge and run.
Well I have to say I do miss the finale, we would make sure to get the guild together and collect the various prizes hang out and have snack trays. Etc.. I miss the different hat that used to come each season. It was kinda of a bragging right to show off the previous years hats.
Isn’t there stuff in the gem store to mark the anniversary? Go spend some gems and buy something to celebrate.
I think a lot of people here hit the nail on the head. The problem being is that it is more profitable to fail than succeed. This should not be the case.
That post is funny, Just do a party wipe and the hammer will respawn, they fixed it a long time ago. LOL the fix is to have your party wipe?
I actually like the idea for the open dragon attacks, others have said we already have this. This is not true, you have dragons that show up at the exact time and same place theyre supposed to. Think of the randomness of a Dragon attacking any village or fort. A pop up would come up asking for assistance in what ever area. I’m sure most dragons dont attack the same place at the same time every single day.
I have to agree with other posters on this point. The reward for the LS are items you have to put a lot of time into to get the final product. Some may say you dont have to do this do something else. Then with that logic your given a reward for something you have no use for. It seemed in the past the reward for LS was some what usefull.
I agree with some kind of night cycle and weather. I can never tell when its night time. Also the night cycle needs to be on a moving cycle so if you only play after work its not all ways dark out or vice verse. If they make it real dark thats fine or just make it more noticeable.
I just dont think it would work too well. How would you chat? Have you tried a pop up coffee table or a lap table with small keyboard. I have an HTPC and I use a pop up coffee table.
I have completed WvW maps twice by keeping an eye on my server. Youre not going to get it done in a month this way but it works. I dont like WvW PvP but I got it done. That being said I agree it is a joke. Seriously, completing the same map multiple times? That part seems pointless to me. Also this has been brought up since the beginning and it hasnt changed.
I might be missing something but the times I’ve played you just get in a zerg and take places while the other team takes places you just left. I just dont get the reason people play the grind.
check out the corsair m95, thats my GW go to mouse, plenty of buttons right at your thumb at a reasonable price.
I have to agree the current reward for finishing the story line is a bit of a let down. I still have 2 of those tokens I probably wont use. A legendary is just silly, I dont have any and probably never will, we dont want everyone running around with a legendary.
I always found it odd with my guardian when I hit RETREAT, he actually tries to attack rather than retreat.
So what your saying then is if I have an a-10 I don’t need a graphics card. They just said the game is cpu bound. Every benchmark you can find an intel i5 will beat any AMD.

I’m not quite following the cpu bound and not gpu. That being said an integrated graphics should be able to run everything maxed if its on an i5 or i7. Right?

Most games are GPU intensive, so a good graphics card is key. If you go to a gtx770 that will greatly increase fps. My buddy has an i5 and gtx770 all settings maxed.
What we truly need is a double rainbow.
Well we cant have everyone get a precursor. I’ll probably never get one, oh well. Theres a lot more to this game than getting a precursor.
Eyefinity is nothing new. I’ve been running this since the begining, On my sons older setup I run at around 5040×1080 and all the HUD is centered on the middle screen as it should be. Try running the game at max resolution, it should put everything on the center screen w/o any third party software. You also have to have decent hardware to run this my sons is dual 5850 with settings aroun med to high. I run my system at about 5970×1200 with dual GTX680 and everything is maxed with no 3rd party software. Also this does look awesome giving you a wider FOV.
Those specs look good. You should be able to run everything maxed out fine. I just built a PC for a friend with a core i5 and gtx770 and he has no issues. Look into driver updates, background programs running. 30-40 not too bad but the quickest why to boost it is to go SLI with another GTX770.
I had heard that this was the best way to do it given the new system. Well nuts to that, make all in zone wp free then until you figure it out.
Ive had a crash at the same location, yet when I logged back on I still got the event chest but nothing else.
To the op Point 5 on the worst. You do mean GPU not CPU. My cpu never gets maxed out when playing games but my GPU does. Games are GPU intensive not CPU. Unless you are using an integrated gpu which would not be recommended.
Taxidermy sounds neat! You could display your work in the guild hall! Oh and have that big fish you caught mounted on the wall.
Seriously, Plains of Ashford only have 3 uncontested wp on the far west side yet when I zone in theyre all open. WTH, make me wp twice to get where I want to go. Who thought this was a good idea?
