i like the idea of fishing rods as gathering tools and infinite rods in the gemstore. also agree with psientist, both wow and lotro had good fishing. fishing should be open world with a minigame fishing competition for fishing related prizes, either skins like fishing hat or rare rod skins. the underwater precurser would be funny if u also had the chance to catch old useless boots.
I feel fishing would also compliment cooking, not enough variety of recipes, theres not a single fish in any of those recipes

There are a lot of people who play Ranger if the class was as broken as some of you claim no one would play it.

I play my ranger because I like pew pew’ing stuff from range for a change. The class is still broken, and I know it from nearly a years worth of play with a ranger. Added to that is that most players who created a ranger didn’t know how bad the class is, and subsequently changed classes.
Class is broken, those who disagree with that are in denial. Devs already admitted pets are busted and wont be fixed, what else do you need?

Me and my main man Jesus Main Warriors. I Main Warrior because they’re the class that frontlines hardest by nature, allowing for more or less 2 choices, A BRRZRRRKRRRRRR or tanking. I’m strictly PVE not even WvWvW so i can’t help u with PvP, but Jesus Wv3’s as a tank and protects the commander as a massive Tinak, he’s told me great stories full of smashing and lulz. I went all damage on warrior because I saw potential in Warrior damage, if I wanted to do anything other then max damage I would just play another class.

nope, it would only affect how often you look at utilities instead of combat. any diversity would be squashed by everyone using 1 or 2 of the same skills per class.

staff build is extremely easy, just toss down combofields while doing whatever and your team profits. u can spam the healing skills so you and party can survive all the time. once she wants to cast like a pro she can go for more damage or more support from fire, im trying out 30/0/0/10/30. all my fire fields last longer and my fiery blast finishers grants twice the fury to the party than for great justice does.
No one has mentioned that you can’t use norns racial elites with your pet. your pet just disappears while you’re transformed. Go Charr male, don’t listen to the Norn plebians and seperatists that dislike all Charr. As a Charr ranger you’re full beast mode!

New weapons for archer like polearms, it would make huntard enjoyable again. High heels for female heavy armor, the height will dominate the battlefield!

dagger dagger and scepter warhorn good. always go power tree in traits as leveling then precision tree, blood is power gives 10 stacks of might and the well that stacks vulnerability and damages. those two together will zerg rush you through most fights.
My main issue with huntards is the pet won’t chase after something if its like 1200+ range away which doesnt feel far when that’s how far longbow untraited reaches. I hadn’t played huntard in a long time so I don’t remember it always being this way.
In my opinion, rangers should be able to use rifles. Seeing as their a mostly ranged class, it would just make sense. Warriors can use longbows, so why cant rangers use rifles? What do you guys think?

All classes to 80 except for huntard and I’m finding a hard time enjoying that class when in MMOs hunter is my favorite, cause that’s what this class is. Hunter. Not archer. My pet is more powerful then me and honestly more viable than me even though its clunky. Every other class is more powerful as far as I’m concerned. despite having medium armor, huntard manages to feel squishier then elementalist. Probably cause of the weapon choices, either ranged as kitten, or zrrkrr melee your heart out before risen destroy you.
But I enjoy playing every other class. I mostly PVE dungeons and world bosses. I also continue to level huntard despite its downfalls just in case it becomes buffed in time or fun at 80. I’m classist in that every class has its place, and its helped me create the play style I want.
in wvw I’ve consistently 1v2’d rangers as a brrzrrkrr warrior and laughed as I smashed them to bits. so if being a casual is your thing, ranger is your class. I even out dps your ranged options. one time i just sat there while he sat there just ranging each other watching the big red numbers eat his health. this was a while ago but I’M THE ONE WHO KICKED YOU FROM SPEEDRUNS! I’M THE ONE WHO KNOCKS!
The shaman idea is cool. I made a sylvari elementalist and it didn’t do it for me, there’s only a few leafy armors anyways. I rolled Asura masterrace elementalist. The mini caster beats every option all the time forever. I haven’t enjoyed Asura more. It is all preference however, Norn have cool shaman armors for light armor and doesn’t look as weird as I thought they would. Plus asuras are masters of magi-tech, only makes sense that they are masters of raw magic POWAR
I made an engineer a while ago and just decided to start leveling it. With the birthday booster, xp booster, and killstreak booster, I’ve gained 44 levels in about 2 days just spamming grenade kits, bleed,frost,blind,poison,bleed etc
I also use rocket boots to escape tight spots and simply for mobility. Its toolbelt skill is extremely helpful as an aoe burn once all your mobs are stacking
and finally i run elixir B because its amazing. I’m consistantaly destroying monsters 5-7 levels higher then me, even face tanking them when im feeling casual. small circles around mobs corrals them to stack and grenade kit takes off. i always for every proffession toss as many traits as i can into the power tree and it happens to be the grenade tree. That’s how you get stuff done. its so easy, grenade kits feels really powerful to me
Whichever race you like most aesthetically. Racials you never use and personal story is a one time thing so those should not hold too much weight in my opinion.
