I usually have good connectivity but I just got done with Triple Trouble a bit ago and I had DC’d multiple times. I was luck to get back in the same map. I went to Lions Arch from there and was still lagging. This almost never happens, no matter what I am doing. I even turned down my graphics, which didn’t help at all.
The fact still remains that this seems to be a worthless item to get. I myself have never purchased one for that reason.
I agree as well. Trying to scroll through everything and also having to read quickly is just a strain. And even with the new area’s having to read fast to see which area it is for, can take a while.
I was chatting with my guild while looking at cooking ingredients and i commented that it would be nice if we could make coffee with them ( vanilla bean coffee ). So can we get coffee beans to use to make various coffee types with cooking?
Examples:
Mocha- chocolate bars, coffee bean, sugar, Whipped cream(hasn’t been added yet)
Caramel- coffee bean, caramel, Whipped cream, sugar
If this were to be added, then all of us coffee addicts would be able to continue our coffee addiction in-game as well. 
Ya I have been harvesting off and on even with a special sickle to increase rare material chance and note a single indigo. i have seen a screenshot somewhere that someone had acquired them…and a lot, but other than that…I must be unlucky as well. If there is a bug though, I hope they get it fixed soon.
I was under the impression that it was a chance drop from mushroom gathering nodes, but so far I haven’t found any. I am also working on the legendary crafting collection.
this happens to me sometimes as well. I even pick something different to defend on each phase, like north 1st phase, east or west 2nd phase, and laser last phase.
I am not sure if this is related, but I have been having a strange issue in which my time warp wouldn’t work. I checked the ground targeting, and it was green. The skill wasn’t in cooldown either. It would take a few tries to get it to finally lay down.
I have had a similar issue where i try to change the price on one of the three digits, but when i go to click on the section i want to change, it doesnt provide me with the blinking line. If i click more than once, it changes sometimes the whole price to 0. The only way i have found to work when this is happening is to hover the mouse over the digit box for a few seconds. It is rather time consuming when u either have a bunch of stuff to get rid of, or are tryin to empty inventory on the go (world bosses).
I have somewhat noticed better loot as my MF goes up, but not enough to farm luck for it though. I just play the game, and salvage stuff to get my luck. I have a copper-fed salv-o-matic that I use on greens and blues so it adds up. I also use the artificing skill to combine luck so i dont have to click as much. And as someone else mentioned, the Trick-or-Treat bags can give luck as well.
Ya, that would be nice. before they fixed lions arch at the very least the trading post was very close to the crafting stations, at least the ones by postern ward. Now the regular bank is close to the mystic forge while the crafting stations are almost nowhere near a WP, and same with the TP. Other than that i like the new lions arch. 
Its still going on in LA. I wasn’t even jumping or anything and I just died.
What time is this patch coming out?
I am having long load times as well. It cleared up just a bit last nite for a little while but it seems to take a long time just to even log in on the forums, when usually it is very fast. I saw the tweet though about the forum issues and hope they can resolve it soon.
23) A couple simple things i can think of are material storage spots in the bank for blade shards, foxfire clusters, and some of the other crafting materials which only serve as crafting materials.
hmm i think the idea of salvage booster is interesting. as for other new boosters…well maybe some that replicated some skills or trait skills, kinda like the reduced fall damage. but i think that was somethin that was being changed around when HoT launches anyway. but ya, like reduced fall damage for 1 hour.
the only others i can come up with at the moment would be mostly useless for anything other that show.

Usually people ask if we have cookies, so we made a special cookie icon for teamspeak users. Unfortunately, gluttony as it is, people got very greedy always wanting more cookies, and would complain when the cookies were taken away. So, we had to remove the cookies. I am petitioning for them to return though. A poutine may also be in order!

Well as far as ascended runes/sigils go, I kinda like the idea. maybe if the runes were a bit different say than their exotic versions perhaps.
If they’re just different then they don’t need to be ascended. Ascended would mean objectively better in some way (like bigger numbers). That would be terrible.
Well when I said different, I guess what I meant was that perhaps the runes/sigils would have something ?unique?. ok like ascended stuff is always account bound, even if you equip it, unlike exotic armor. and legendary weapons have footprints when equipped.
Maybe the sigils/runes would have a unique effect or something like that.
I like the way the new dailies work aside from having one single map for event completer.
I wont even try to get that type done now. When i tried to go do those ones, unless it was sparkfly fen, it was a hassle to try to find events before they were completed. That one I think could be changed to a region instead of a zone. Also maybe more options for each catagory as well.

For example, I have 500 armorsmith on my norn guardian, which I never really play anymore. I want to delete her to make room for a new character, but then I would have to get 500 armorsmith again – which sort of defeats the purpose and leaves me in a bit of a dilemma. I really don’t want to have to spend any more money getting 500 armorsmith again just so I can free up that one character slot.
Many people have to do it. However, it will be an oversimplification already. The main part of “total mass” of crafting resources expended on craft leveling. If you save people from this need – resources that no more needed will rush to the TP. And, accordingly, will depreciate. This significantly undermine the economy. Better not to risk with it.
Shared recipes will be enough, i think.
the ‘extra mats’ can be fixed if there were an additional use for them. last year there was the festival of the four winds which merchants took the mats in exchange for something else. if something like that returned it would diminish the extra supply.
Then there is the risk of creating shortages, making everything extremely expensive.
It is better not to interfere with something that concerns economic balance.
Well it was just an example of an event that made use of the mats. Basically maybe something that doesnt cause people to put tons of mats a day would probably be sufficient. maybe like a vendor that gave something but was limited for the number of times a day you could trade for it? enough basically to have some of the mats no longer be vendor trash, but not enough to cause a shortage.
I think if Anet really wanted us to search for these things, they wouldn’t have made the nameplates visible with the CTRL button. Even then, there are other things besides nodes, and chests that are viewable with this.

I like this idea. i have at times accidently linked skills in chats for keeping this key mashed down for a lot of the time.

ok so I finally recovered my guild wars 1 account and already linked it to my guild wars 2 account. I just purchased the trilogy pack and the eye of the north but I cant seem to add the trilogy access key to my GW1 account because it says I already have one of the features unlocked. If I create a new account it means I probably wont be able to link it here and that was the whole point of buying those (Hall of Monuments).
Am I really supposed to repurchase the expansions separately?
What would bring back the community aspect of the game would be introducing open world dungeons which require the ability of each and every class to be able to advance.
(like some kind of raid event)For example :
– ennemies that are invulnerable unless the first attack is a surprise attack (which requires stealthy classes).-ennemies that only get temporarly vulnerable after getting blocked.
- ennemies that take damage only when burnt, or chilled, or stunnned, etc…
- ennemies that take damage only by Aoes.
-ennemies that take damage only by Aoe heals
-ennemies that take damage only when feared
- energy walls that blocks and hurt you unless you apply reflect Aoe on it
- poisonous areas that can be cleansed only while healing aoe is applied on it.
and so on.
(Basically, gimmicks that make use of the abilities of the classes instead of external mechanisms like most of the “puzzle” contents)But making it so that everyone can participate and learn, instead of having small parties which tends to bring the elitist mindset.
This would definitely make things more interesting. It would be nice if it also made using some of the other stat combos for armor/weapons a more common thing.
The waypoints I used weren’t contested. The only contested WP in LA is fort mariner, and I don’t use that one anymore. As for lag, I rarely get that. My computer runs this game fairly smooth at even max graphics, though I turn them down at big boss fights. My internet connection is solid enough that a DC for me is rare, like maybe once or twice a month, unless our service had an issue.
I remember seeing a thread a while back requesting something similar, but this has a different view. I know the forge is a random thing except for the guaranteed recipes, and for that it doesn’t operate like a crafting station.
In the crafting station we see the ingredients we need and at the top, we see the product. While the forge is random, isn’t there any way we could have a saved list of guaranteed recipe’s at least? Like the recipe for superior arrow carts. It takes 5 mithril ore, 5 elder wood, 2 arrow cart blueprints, and 1 siege masters guide. That doesn’t change at all that i have noticed and the product result remains the same.
Maybe for the random recipes, make the ingredient list but where it would show the final product, have a box that says ‘unknown’.
as for organization of this idea, perhaps like the way the crafting stations keep a separate drop down menu for each thing (boots, leg, chest, ect..), there could be one for permanant recipes, random, gear, misc, and then a tab to throw new stuff in like we already see currently with all the stuff in our inventory.
I don’t know if this suggestion can be implemented or not but i figured i would toss it in and see what happened. Other players can maybe add to this or suggest a better method or change to parts of this.
Also I know HoT is being worked on currently so even if it was accepted it might be a while… I dunno…
I think it would be nice if it didnt matter what order the bags were for the loot to drop in first.
As an example:
invisible bag in the first slot: i want my foods and a weapon or 2 to switch out but also a few open spots in case i loot somethin and cant decide if i want to sell or not. if new obtained stuff didnt fill up that first and went simply to the regular bag before filling up a named bag unless it belongs in the named bag (crafting mats go to craft bag, junk items to oiled bag. ect…) then that would be nice.
I had bought the Guild Wars game of the year edition back in 2010 or 2011. I created an account and played a bit but not much. I havent logged back into that account since and i dont remember the login information. I also dont remember the character names on the account. when i tried to submit a ticket with the GW1 thing, it would say “invalid access key” when i added that to the ticket. Is there any way to get back into my account?
This would be awesome. i myself havent done the story modes yet except for 1, because when i do, i want to watch cutscenes. i also want to do so at my own pace.
I have had this happen to me as well. i waypointed to drytop to check on something and then i went back to lions arch. i exited to character selection a few moments later but noticed my character was supposedly in drytop. i logged back in and the loading screens kept switching bk and forth between drytop and LA. then it popped me to a random location in LA.
I get a lot of rares at times as well when i do world bosses or Silverwastes, and i usually dont have too much time in between to tend to inventory. having the rarity outline on for my inventory works for a quick use of my copper fed salvage kit in order to get my through the round. it would be nice to have a toggle off/on button tho for warnings with rares at least. if not that, at least not having to reclick the salvage kit would be nice.
though could we maybe get a salvage all option for maybe even just greens and blues (other than stuff in invisible bags) that maybe u right click the salvage kit for. i think someone mentioned this in another post/thread. that would be awesome.
I have participated in a closed beta of a game only 1 time b4 this. i know this is a test for just an expansion of a game but still, i found it interesting, and fun.
i think i am totally gonna love this next expansion.
I played for almost 2 hours and so far i like the revanent. I found the trait and utility skills to seem somewhat incomplete but still kinda interesting. I myself tho would prefer to actually level it and gradually get used to it instead of being thrust into a bunch of mobs and be trying to read the skills to see what they do. but still looks good. It did seem a kittenaotic in the beta area but i didnt notice any major problems with the skills or anything on my own character. As far as connection goes… i didnt have any connection issues at all.
I found it somewhat confusing as well. it took me a while to even find the panel. I know I exited the boxes real quick after the story because i didnt know if i was in a safe spot or not. then after finding the panel it took me a bit to figure out how to even add the points. i know i was checking the hero panel for it. maybe adding an info icon or something? otherwise i cant wait to start tryin out some other stuff

i just had a main question before i ask any others. are you on the NA servers or the EU servers?
that depends on how you acquire the bags. some bags that come from special npc’s like the halloween vendor, are account bound. however, you can buy bags off the trading post or if you have the crafting skill, you can make them yourself.
I also like the idea of dailies being revamped. i honestly find something else to complete when i see daily dodger in that list. tho i would not want to see them being too closely tied to the heart quests, for the reason that others have said with people having world completion. other than that it might give opportunity to revive some places on the maps that feel dead maybe?
Or another idea is to tie in the ‘daily quest rewards’ with maybe earning a collection item for an existing basic collections? Its just a thought anyway

yes i do each battery phase and i only do this once a day.
Lately when doing teq. i have not been getting all 4 dragon chests even though i only do it once a day. i am at the zerg, and i defend 2 different batteries, and then the megalaser for the last phase. sometimes its the exotic chest i dont get, sometimes its the rare. none of the defense phases fail either.
i am not the only person that this has been happening to and this wasnt doin this to me in september either. if more info is required please let me know

well i dunno what medal rewards i get for the defend phases but i dont park my character there either. i guess i will put a bug thread up in the bugs section and see what happens

Ok so this has happened to a couple other people i know. Lately when i have gone to tequatl, i have only gotten 3 or less of the dragon chests instead of my usual 4. i have done nothing different than my usual methods. i am with the zerg. when batteries start, for 2 of the phases i choose 2 different batteries to defend, then i defend the megalaser for last phase.
anyone have any information as to what is goin on here? it wasnt doin this to me last month.
