Went ahead and made a link for your build. I suggest dropping 10 from tactics and getting cleansing ire with 10 more points in defense. Maybe swap dogged March for missile reflection as I believe it works with mace 2. Sigil of superior earth has an ICD of 5 seconds I believe, so using two on 1 weapon set would have no effect. I was also thinking about the 15% stun increase sigil for the mainhand mace as it would effect 3 skills and I really don’t think this build would be critting that often. This looks so fun lol.

Why would someone buff warrior even more?? Its OP class in tPvP, alot of high ranked teams go out with 9 or 12 warriors, last few years all teams run with 18 warriors (and they usualy dual wield GS – Shield / triple Hammer. Can you point at some tournament team with <6 warriors??? They are so OP, they can kill spectators or twitch viewers/followers.

They are at top of the food chain since Conan the Barbarian (part one).

warrior have lots of mobility skills which allow for easy engage/disengage which should give people a clue.

If you trait mobile strikes there is 2 with GS, 1 with Sword and 1 with Hammer (but only if you have adrenaline).

Rank 25, all from Warrior. Play a bit of tpvp, haven’t touched pve in months, and wvw ehhh. I have roughly 300 hours playing Warrior in spvp.
I like this build. It can be quite suprising if multiple targets are trying to hold off a point from your team.
Run in with balance, throw down a regen/ precision/ crit damage banner, pop signet of rage, and go to town with lots of direct damage, decent cc from mace and bull. The Axe five skill is a little kitten y I know, but use that to your advantage. If there are multiple people trying to hold a point, pop that bad boy and watch hp melt as you are helping your team.
Anyways, I suggest you try. Poke holes all you want, but I win with this thing. Maybe not super duper awesome high ranking tpvp, but I promise you it is more than decent.

FYI there is 5 type of sigils:

1) Passive efect,
2) Stack on Kill,
3) Effect on critical,
4) Effect on weapon swap,

-Pvp is still very bad.
-Only 1 pvp mode (No guild vs guild, no deathmatch), which is awful and boring to play, not to mention to watch (250 viewers daily @ twitch, when diablo 3 has nearly no pvp and has constant 4k+)
-The useless traits and skills released in the beginning, havent been changed, being this coming patch a very narrow modify to 5% of them.
-The actual pvp mode is in itself very bad, being no real solo q, matching casuals against teams. Poor development.

I bought it in the release, played active for 5 months, when I saw the slow progress of patching, I decided to quit, and it was a good decision.
For what i keep watching in the patches from time to time, the progress to develop the game is very bad in terms of quality but also slow.
I think the game will have the necessary health and care in 2-3 years more (and maybe some features will never be released), considering the speed of introducing stuff.
The thing is by that time, there will be so nice games out there in the market that most pvpers won´t even remember gw2. But I will remember gw1, that was a real pvp game, fun and competitive.

Same goes for me. I dont wana play game where developers isnt able to fix my favorite class since beta. I played WoW for almost 7 years (only tauren warrior). I preordered GW2 at first day, and i played only char warrior in gw2 (around 900 tournament played until November).

Promise at start was:

Focus on PvP, eSports, balance around Warrior….

Somewere in november they promised also:

Tune down AOE, and fix warrior (after that they did few ultra nerfs to warrior and few buffs to ele, guardian, ranger and others)

And now year and a half after i paid money, thay still nerf worst profession and buff other (already OP ones). There is no focus on PvP, there is no eSports (i dont care about this part), and thhre is no balance. It is Ok thqat thief can perma stealth or kill in 2-3 sec, it is ok that guardian, ranger or ele cant be killed, but it is not ok to make warrior viable.

Guardian main role in pvp is Bunker. There is no chance to kill him without friends.

Someone also said that good shatter mesmer can kill Guardian 1v1 (thats why i posted link with shatter build)

Warriors cannot bunker because they don’t have any access to good healing, good condition removal without sacrificing everything, and protection. Protection is pretty much an extra set of armor, the reason guardians have it so easy is because they can get the damage reduction signet AND protection, meaning they have more then double the damage reduction we have from just toughness.

Not to mention they have innate condition removal, and much much better healing abilities. There thresh-hold is also lower, so they’re heals mean more.

Would you rather have.
1000 healing per second, 80% damage reduction, 10k Hp, the ability to remove a condition every 3-5 seconds.

or

250 healing per second, 35% damage reduction, 18k Hp, the ability to remove a condition every 20-30 seconds.

Its pretty obvious the awnser, many just do not see just how bad it is.

What warriors need.
1 A massive healing increase.
2 More healing traits.
3 Access to more damage reduction.
4 More more more condition removal, or conversion.

There’s a duel with phantaram which highlights how a warrior baits stun breakers/evades with leg specialist roots and once the target has wasted their evades they go with the combo.

A warrior can kill a BM bunker ranger — the ranger just needs to make mistakes. But in a team fight, there should be enough pressure where a bunker has had to use his dodges/stunbreaker, and that’s when the warrior mops up.

So a warrior can beat a BM ranger if the ranger makes mistakes and the warrior doesn’t. Well, I’d say that’s true of pretty much any 1v1 with any class involved, lol.

Hey guys, I have been having great fun with one of Oppa’s build since I started last August. Its lost some luster since the nerf to quickness but it is still really strong, high dps with triplechop and insane amount of stuns. Having reflect missiles on the shield and mace 2 is a lifesaver and I have won many a 1v1 by timing it correctly and reflecting damage back to the sender

I have tried all builds and so far this is the best all round. You are slower than a GS roamer but the defense of the build makes up for that and you are not a one trick pony.

Full stun rotation with max adrenaline can be either:

Shield4, MaceF1, Switch weapons, Frenzy, Triple Chop for a few seconds and then Mace5. If they get out of it use Bulls Rush to close gap and finish them off.

Or (I prefer this one since the Quickness nerf)

Mace 5, Frenzy, Triple chop for a few seconds, Switch weapons, shield 4, mace 3 and then maceF1. If they move away use bulls rush.

With both of these timing is critical and you need to pull it off really fast but once you do you will drop a lot of their life and put them on defensive if you havent killed them. Bunkers and holders need to be “played” with first to get rid of boons and cooldowns.

If you search for videos on his twitch you will find some of him with this build and its really helpful to watch.

A word of warning, this build needs you to know at least a bit about the other classes so you can time your attacks and defensive CD’s. It is not a 3 button build to destroy in quick join!

Hope it helps some of those feeling underpowered with the warrior. I currently only seem to have issues with hunters mainly.

Yes, if they only play for rewards. It’s okay to play “for fun” and be happy if there are additional rewards. But some people are really playing only if you give them some reward.

You haven’t explained why this is a bad thing. Sounds like merely a preference to me. Can you show that one way is better than the other?

Its not road to some place, so you cant tell which is shorter or better. Its a way of life, girls love dresses/makeups, warriors love to fight.!

Simple as that.

I would replace Sigil of Force with Sigil of Fire (on LB), your crit is good enough. I would also replace Burning Arrows with Burst Mastery. Keep in mind that your build depends on adrenaline.

BtW why dont you try 10/30/0/0/30? Furious and Burst mastery can be rly good for F1 spam (and ur weapon choice rely on F1).
