tbh, the way it was being done was impossible to get the 6 min achieve, player wanting it were blatantly ignored.

I don’t see the issue with splitting up the zerg. I mean 50 people at a knight is still a fair number of people!

:( I have no problem with downed players, but I don’t think we should be able to rez the dead, with maybe dungeons as an exception. How are players supposed to get better at the game and learn to stay alive if other players can rez them, its not like the game is hard and with some events like Tequatl and The Great Jungle Wurm dead players can ruin it for all.
If the player doesn’t have the money to use the wp they could be given the option to go to the nearest unlocked major city.

For the last 6 months I haven’t rez’ed the dead except in instances and will not be rez’ing them ever again, players need to learn from there mistakes and not to rely on others.

You think that if they have to pay(which most currently do anyway) they’ll suddenly become better players?

I’m all for not rezzing people in large scale events. (like teq/wurm/LS) and getting them to wp. This because the time it takes to a rez a defeated player is time that there’s less dps by 2. If the person dead just wp’s, it’s only less by one and not for long.

But most people do not rez others in these cases and thats fine.

Not rezzing someone because you think wp’ing costs is going to make them play better is hilarious.
People don’t want to die, they don’t think..ah it’s ok I’ll just run into the mob here and hope someone turn up and helps. (Proven by that most people wp as it is, paticularly as they don’t know if someone is coming or not).

What is with the spamming of “legendaries” for sale on the LFG the past couple of days? Come on folks, that’s no place for that.

they can’t afford the listing fee,(or don’t want to pay it)
so they use lfg and mapchat…

it’s wrong and foolish…I hope each one of them gets scammed.
you want to sell to strangers? be legit and pay your taxes/

you wont have to learn much “again”.

Things that are changing are how skins work(will be simple to understand/get used to the change).
and traits. They’re also changing to as simpler form, and you dont really have to worry about understanding them…..if you want to wait.
You can still play. Its not going to change that much that you’re going to feel lost.

or..if they want.. make WvW more like PVP, in that, you cant use nourishments and your gear doesnt matter.
There, easier to balance and no worries of pve tweaks affecting pvp play.

Aurora Glade (EU) is still taking part in it. (With overflows, which I’d suggest to stay on, as they seem to do better/less lag. )

However, the constant fail puts alot of people off. They really should make it easier or something if there’s been “x” amount fails. It’s very frustrating.

And to have the whole thing fail because of one lane.. maybe should allow 3/5 = pass .. something, I don’t know really.

I want to add, that I actually quite enjoy it. (Despite instant death, more often than not.)

Before I got a chest after each knight I helped down. Now I get 0 no matter how many I kill. I liked it better before. Reward loot aside, I’m never going to earn enough power cores for my backpack at this rate.

Buy them, plenty of people are getting cores and selling.

Now that the HOT is out of the bag, we’re able to update this thread with more details. With the introduction of the new account based mastery system for end-game progression and growth in PvE, we’ll also be re-evaluating our other systems of character progression to ensure they match our over-all pillars and goals for Gw2.

In doing so: we’re going to be removing the current trait unlocking system currently on live and replacing it with a more simplified system that supports where skills-traits-specializations are going in the future. We’ll go into more details between now and the release of HOT on how skills, traits, and specializations will work in the new Gw2 world.

Thank you for all your passionate feedback on this topic – it not only helped our dev team lead to this decision, but has played a large role in helping us define how to build our exciting new account based mastery system for end-game progression in PvE as well.

It doesn’t matter, the system is intended for players to help each other not force each other to use a waypoint when another player can rezz them.

You are still trying to justify Elitist mentalities.

the ability, the skills, is to rez downed players.

Why are you so against wp’ing to rez?

The majority of people don’t have a problem with this, and realise it’s quicker… if you’re so against it, try and stay alive.

It’s not elitist, I told you I’ve had to wp… It’s quiker to wp and run back than to be rezzed from defeated state.

With timed events, this is really important ..those few seconds can and do make a difference.

Well, this topic is going nowhere.
Just the same people arguing for greater death penalty and completely ignoring the best arguments against it.

heres a question, what is it you look for in a game? What makes you keep playing. Story? adventure, progress? im just curious to see what drives players, it may give me some perspective.

Story, collecting, leveling, Jp’s(well some of them), gathering, ….and anything silly/fun etc. In game toys, like bobblehead, music instruments, (needs more of these and not just through gemstore.)
I also like to kill stuff, but without too much effort.

Where’s the option to allow/view all languages? I’m looking at options and it seems I’m pigeoned holed to pick one. I kinda liked seeing all, gave me a reason to work on learning german again XD.

Turns out the chat menu has it’s own options menu (button in the top left corner). I never noticed it until today.

Only 10 Daily Achivements?

Normally I could get the daily just playing whatever I want to play.

This wasnt the case yesterday. I don’t normally do events stuff much, unless I’m in wvw (and everything there is an ‘event’.). This took 2 pve dailies away from me.

I realised just before logged off, I hadn’t finished my daily and had to figure out what I was going to do to finish it. This left playing longer and doing something I really didnt want to do.(pvp: win or lose).

Is anets idea of the daily to make it harder to achieve?
I’ve also noticed it takes longer to finish. The last daily I could finish in an hour. This one, I seem to be stuck in game longer, and actually having to look at the dailies to pick one to complete.
This sucks anet.

More choice for dailies is a must. Stop trying to push people to other game modes. Which is all you’re doing with this.
People who want to play those game modes, will.

bank -no inventory double click in,

Odd, bug since feature patch.

If I open bank, I can double click an item out, and it will go to first empty slot in bag.

However I have to drag all items from bag into bank. Double clicking does nothing at all. This is really annoying when you have alot of items to put into the bank. ): I’m really missing the double click and it depostiting to first empty bank slot

anyone else having this issue?

Only happens on the bank tab on crafting tables. (which is the one I use the most.)
