“Dated engine”? I almost spit my coffee now, there will always be constraints when engineering an engine, and market is among those.
Unless Anet does an overhaul on the way we obtain pre-cursors then the prices will to skyrocket out of control and within a few months, dusk will be 4000g.
I seriously hope it never gets as close as that.
You can keep track of boons and conditions by targeting the elemental, but yeah, a timer would be much appreciated. About the other, I honestly don’t know why we can’t see back items, even the most sparkling one wouldn’t hide the model at all.
They rebuild Tybalt into robo-Tybalt and he is your sworn enemy.
Don’t… don’t say this.
I’d love more references to Castlevania series, such as Castlevania: Symphony of the Night.
“it’s best to be careful while AFKing”
There’s no need to be careful. The criteria between game mechanics and automation are very clear and we can easily tell the difference.
Ouch! Turn down for what?
Wildstar… here I come!
If Wildstar delivers what they promise (big IF though, talk is cheap) then the GW2 team better start soon with adding some more meat to their game or the game will fall into obscurity come winter.
I agree…
I like fighting headfirst, but sometimes I wish we’d foil the enemy’s plans at the cost of being pulled to another dimension, so we could break stuff in there and keep the beautiful landscapes intact. I feel so much for Kessex Hills…

Character progression is in the gemstore. Have you purchased all it has to offer?
That’s mean… but it’s the bitter truth. Lol.
New legendaries/precursors won’t be tradable? YEAAAAH! GW2 is now officially out of beta!
Nerf is the new fix,
Ikr gonna make that a meme. The first chance they have it’s more than appropriate to hit with the nerf bat.
Hi guys, I made a poll to measure what people felt tempests are mostly lacking from last BWE+first balance pass (stickied dev post). This isn’t meant to be a rant (though I can’t control people’s posts).
The poll accept multiple answers and asks to skip some options depending on what you choose (so it makes sense). I made it entirely considering the Tempest itself, rather than other Elementalist builds or gameplays.
Feel free to discuss the major points which, in your opinion, need fine-tuning, or simply shouldn’t make it past beta.

I remember a dev said once that the outfit model is altogether and they can’t separate meshes, the head is the only exception as it’s separate.
Another idea with different purpose:
- Heat Sync: Cast purging flames on self that converts conditions to might, and spread it to allies. If no condition is converted spread fire aura instead.
- Might: 3stacks per condition (14s)
- Fire Shield: 6s
- Conditions Converted: 2
Not sure if useless, but at least some play to it. Might require increasing cooldown…
IMO all overloads are already in a good position if you consider their effects, it’s just the execution that’s too risky.
