Hahaha… Most of these nerf callers came to rant about HS being op becos they came up with their wonderful build in their favourite class that trashes all other class except warriors.
Instead of admitting that their skills or build is not as perfect as they think they just call mother ANET to nerf…. (easiest n brainless solution… which I cannot understand since they call warrior a brainless class.. or are they themselves brainless? )
Solution for them instead of calling for nerf…
1) Work on your creativity, think about other builds to counter warriors…
…There are builds in every other classes that could easily counter warriors…
2) Work on your execution of skills….

Warriors are strong. But to complain about Warriors when Guardians, Mesmers, Rangers, and Necros can be just as brain dead? Please. Its hypocritical because the people complaining about Warriors were generally hiding behind low skill classes and wants their class to be even easier mode than it already is.
Alright, you wanna know why you should love the Germanic peoples (Imma focus on the Norse in particular)? Let me tell you.

First, let’s make something abundantly clear. These people were the most metal individuals ever to walk the earth. You ever hear of the Viking at Stamford Bridge? This one crazy berserker held off an ambush by an entire Saxon army. He killed forty men and injured several more before someone managed to get under the bridge and stab his junk. In doing so, he kept five thousand men from crossing this bridge, and let his comrades survive and regroup.
But don’t go thinking this was just one crazy outliers. The Norse loved combat. Everyone knows about Valhalla: the only paradise consisting of endless death-matches until Ragnarök comes. But lets talk about the guy in charge their, Odin. Odin was the head of the gods, and the god or war, death, magic, and poetry. This dude supposedly taught man to go to war just so he could fill up Valhalla. He had one eye because he ripped the other out of his own skull in exchange for ultimate knowledge. And it was this dude that the Norse saw as most deserving of worship. Like I said, metal.
Poetry probably looks out of place in Odin’s list or purviews, but this in no ordinary poetry. See, in addition to producing incredibly kitten heroic poems, the Norse basically invented rap battles. Insulting someone in the cleverest way possible was considered a high art by the Norse. And contrary to their brutish appearance, the guys who pulled out his axe was the loser. The point was to outsmart the other guy, not outfight him.
Well, that’s what have for now. Hope it worked; it is kinda hard to know what to say without knowing why you’re so into the Romans.
The word “Berserk” comes from Nordic warriors that attacked any number of enemy so viciously and enraged using only a “bear shirt” that it became synonymous of enraged attack.

Do you really need Signet Mastery AND warrior sprint? Mobile Strike is a better option IMO to get out of sticky situations. With Signet Mastery you already have a good uptime on swiftness and your GS movement skills improve on that. All the speed buffs in the world is rather pointless if you get hit with a immob.

Seeing as I have too much time on my hands, thank you winter storms, I decided to help out with this.
In the first picture, I made a side-by-side comparison of the difference in muscles: notice the much longer deltoids of the norn, the trapezius and chets muscles are all elongated. This creates a very hulking build. Not shown here, but mentioned, is the spine and head shape: male norn have very round heads and their spine seems to be less straight than a human’s.
For the second picture, I scaled the human up to the norn’s size (ish) and superimposed them: as you can see, the build is very different.
In the third and final one, I was bored and just messing with photoshop.

Assuming no traits on anything warrior condis and knockdowns/backs are as followed
greatsword – 2 condis (cripple and vuln)
axe main – 2 (vuln and cripple)
axe off- 0
warhorn (off only) – 1 (weakness)
sword main – 3 (bleed, cripple and immob)
sword off- 2 (torment and bleed)
mace main – 3 (daze, stun and weakness)
mace off – 2 (vuln and knockdown)
shield (off only) – 1 (stun)
longbow – 4 (burning, bleed, immobolize and blind)
rifle – 4 (bleed, cripple, knockback and vuln)
hammer- 5 (weakness, knockdown, stun, cripple, and a knockback)
Now why does hammer auto need a condition on its auto? Of all the melee weps for warrior, only axe and hammer have no conditions attached to them as mainhand weps just damage for auto attacking. Hammer offers plenty of control effects to justify it not having super high damage or conditions. Just ignore the fact that they recently nerfed hammer burst and 4 because hammer does to much damage as well…

Haven’t seen a mag roamer yet that has heard of a fair fight so don’t cry about outnumbered people using siege to even things up.
This is a two part suggestion, and it aims to up the skill level of thieves. People who play smart wouldn’t really be affected, and those who are abusing it would be punished and forced to play smarter.
Suggestion 1: If a thief misses a sneak attack move, it’s gone. You missed it. It promotes sloppy play when a thief can just sit in stealth chasing you and spamming his sneak attack over and over until it finally lands. You would get to stay in stealth, but you would go back to your standard auto attack.
Suggestion 2: Blocks should reveal thief. Would also promote smarter play. Too often I see thieves just spamming their sneak attack moves over and over until it lands finally. This made the block rather pointless, why block if thieves can just spam sneak attacks until my block is gone or my blocking duration is over? The worst is pistol MH sneak attack, which can actually land 1 full sneak attack + a partial of another one, if the first shot hits a block or evade. The mechanic is broken.
I stopped playing my old thief main ages ago because I felt it allowed too sloppy of play. You can get away with some of the most ridiculous things. I personally get bored without a good challenge. I would love to play thief again if changes like this were implemented.

Yes, I’m probably not the first to say this, and I know I’m not going to be the last, but the Zhaitan fight was ridiculously underwhelming. I have heard no positive responses to this. Just off of the top of my head, these are some of the major problems:
1. There is no difficulty.
2. Destiny’s Edge played little to no role in the dragon’s destruction.
3. There was no “fight” with Zhaitan. (Mashing the 2 skill on the guns does not count.)
4. Trahearne was not even there .
5. Zhaitan’s “Champions” were mostly generic dragons. (Mouth of Zhaitan excluded.)
I’m not going to go in-depth on these problems. It isn’t hard to see why I’ve listed them. What I want to do is show one option to make the fight more like what the culmination to the living story, dungeon arc, and destiny edge’s story should be. This is the apex of three major parts of Guild Wars 2 and deserves to be a memorable experience. Here is my suggestion: a continuation of Arah Story mode (still for five players).
When Zhaitan was shot down, he was not dead. He retreated underground into a cathedral made by the Orrians to honor the gods, then sealed it with a particularly durable bone wall. Because it is underground, the airship that was used to weaken him cannot be brought there. To make up for this, the pact assemble a strike force to infiltrate Zhaitan’s lair, and defeat him in his weakened state. Destiny’s Edge, Trahearne, and the party (maybe add some important figures from the pact as well) are chosen.
Zojja engineers a smaller version of the giant cannons used on the pact ship to breach the wall to allow entry. Once there, they must go through waves of undead (remember, this is Zhaitan’s last stand, so everything he has will be here) as they advance farther in.
When they encounter Zhaitan, he is gaurded by six of his risen champions- the risen priests from the Orrian overworld. To progress, your group needs to split into three groups:
One group will advance in a direct path to the dragon, and will have to face the priests directly in combat to get there. There are there obstacles: the risen priests, the dragon’s corrupting aura, and the sporadic bone walls that are conjured as you progress.
To destroy the walls, Zojja stays behind and begins to repair the cannon that took damage during the way down. Eir and some other(s) from the player’s party stay behind to protect her.
The priests are connected to their statues that are on the upper ramparts overlooking the lower floors where the assault group progress. Caithe and Trahearne go with some other(s) from the player party along there to destroy the statues and weaken the priests.
The corrupting aura of Zhaitan can be held back by Logan’s shield, but not permanently. If the group takes too long, Logan will not be able to hold out, and the assault group will die. Rytlock and some other(s) from the party go with him in the direct assault. As they advance and encounter the different priests, the statue team would destroy the appropriate statues for them to be able to defeat the priest. Similarly, as Zhaitan summons walls, Zojja will fire the cannon to destroy them.
If any one team fails, the encounter fails, will need to be restarted. Every character has a major role to play, and every role is important where different play styles and character types shine..
-Damage is important on the ramparts, since destroying the statues needs to happen quickly.
-Survivability is important in the lower assault team since they will need to hold out until the statues are destroyed.
-A combination of these is important for protecting Zojja as undead will be constantly swarming, and you will need to protect her.
-On top of this, the party will need to choose one player to solo one of these paths, since you have only five players, and there are three paths. The goal here is to make you appreciate Destiny’s Edge more, and rely on them. (Adding some unique abilities to each of the members of Destiny’s Edge would help here.)
When all is said and done, a final showdown with the dragon would follow. The assault group would begin while the other two groups work to catch up to them and rejoin the fight.
This is not the only way to do this, but it would make the fight memorable and epic. The players would feel accomplished when it was over. This is important as the concluding event for three major arcs of the story.

So…Kasmeer was around the Nightmare Tower, was getting tired, exhausted, and amidst all that mental burden, she could still maintain that illusion.
kitten, the freakin world is in danger! Put some cloths on and reserve your powers for kitten that really matters! Maybe if you stoped concentrating on that loose excuse of mental garment, you could have figured out what to do up there without me pouring the only interactive object on the only obstacle in the chamber.
In Anet’s defense, this is the first MMO in a while where money was actually worth something.
Again a post of someone that has not even the faintest idea about game design complaining about something that is an absolutely necessary part of the game.
