This scenario has been happening in T9 in EU for months now. This new matchup system should cause more rotation in and out of T9 than previously occurred. The real issue here is that Fissure of Woe and Vabbi are usually facing this sort of problem.

I never liked encounters that have you play a “mini-game” instead of using your characters skills. This goes for all MMOs, not just GW2. I guess it adds some variety, but to me it smacks of “video-game” mechanics, not MMO style game play.

It might sound odd, but I play MMOs because I generally don’t like “Video games”. People call me a gamer, which isn’t true. I am a long time MMO player. There is a difference

Forget about them, we all know our alliance with the other races is a temporary thing to fight off the dragons.

They are fools to think we’re constructing lasers, golems and transport gates all over Tyria to help them.

Really, they are fantastic pieces of art.

Each month I pick up the new wallpaper and put them on my computer at work, and each month people just step by and ask me where they come from. Those people aren’t gamers by a long shot, but they do appreciate the artworks nonetheless. It says it all, really.

So major props to you, Anet artists still are the best crew on the market atm, imo.

I don’t remember exactly where it is but in one of the slyvari areas there was an NPC that says he’s “a leaf on the wind”.

Here’s a random thought to liven things up a little. Not sure if it’s possible but it could be fun.

Once a server ends up x points behind in a battle (say 200,000 or something), then people guesting to those servers are allowed to represent it in WvWvW.

That way, you could have players from more popular servers who are fed up with queues getting into WvW and having a fight, you could breathe life back into the servers who are getting pounded and provide the winning opponent a challenge for the week without really risking affecting the end result.

Perhaps even go as far as to lock the score prior to guesting opening up for the purposes of the ranking system.

And yes, I know it’s unlikely the idea would ever be feasible, but I couldn’t help smiling at the idea of players from the three tier 1 servers suddenly working together and giving the winning tier 9 server a challenge for a couple of days.

Who cares. Just log into WvW and play. Does it really matter who your opponents are?

I was blown away for the first time experiencing Shadow Behemoth.
It was so amazing, I felt true horror more than any other video game and 99% of other horror/thriller movies.

I was just blown away, and after he did the scream and made a box or something I almost started crying.

It was amazing, just amazing.

that is what you call awesome hard work to a video game.

I’m on FoW and yes we do face this problem, so too help us out and keep people playing wvw (Which we desperately need) wouldn’t it be a better idea to put us against a server which wasn’t ‘Very High’ population?? Both Us and Vabbi are Medium, so wouldnt it make sense to put us against a Medium server?

Then it’ll be a case of skill instead of numbers

Consider that you are a chess player: you will sometimes be matched against weaker players. You’re expected to win. If you draw, your rating will decline. When you get matched against a higher rated player, fight your best for a draw—you might not win but you can still gain rating.

Any place in game where you are having fun while playing is a good place to level.

Whether that be Southsun or WvW or Queensdale or Fireheart Rise.

If you are not having fun while doing it, move on to another area where you will! The levels seem to come easier while you are enjoying your time.

There’s a good range of options for the human body actually, like 8 or 10. Most races only have 6. I’ll confess I like the really busty ones, but I’m glad there’s other options for fairness. What bugs me is that there’s no variation in waist size, they all look like they are going to snap under pressure- even the “thick” ones are positively waspish.
