Just wanted to say that you guys are having a similar discussion to what we’re having internally.
Yes, the Warriors are pushing some of the condition builds out of the meta, but with our sigil of para fix, those same warriors will now be losing a little damage and a little control.
We need to give it a little while to see how the meta settles. Then we’ll be putting in trait improvement and skill improvements.
We felt the Warrior would eventually rise up to become the class it is now (it took a while for people to catch on), but once you guys figured it out, they did what we expected them to do.
Now we need to see where you guys (and the meta) go next.
Jonathan, don’t you think Warriors are just a little over the top at the moment? Such as the amount of sustain available even when playing glassy? The mobility/escapes from the gap closers in sword/GS where most classes require targeting for those skills to work? How short the cooldown is on some of the cc? Zerker stance stopping all condi’s instead of negative duration (isn’t this a bug, if so why isn’t it fixed?)
I know you guys like to look at the metrics and let things settle… but seriously, it’s been months… Surely you guys are aware of how much this has also affected wvw with increased stats…

Ranger doesn’t work at all. It’s broken. Please fix.
The tooltips always say it scales but it’s wrong, they probably didn’t update those tooltips because they tend to overlook A LOT when it comes to ranger…
If you go and test it out with and without an amulet on a golem though and see that it DOES scale, i’m sure the community would be ECSTATIC though.

- signet of the wild transform (signet of the beastmaster) does not allow interaction with porcine drops, stomping, or elementalist weapons
Pet Bugs
- Have to stop and cast to make the utilities work when no target is selected.
- Expertise training interaction is bugged or else tooltip is incorrect
- fern hound heal amount is incorrect

The class balance based on spvp is absolutely horrible for pve and wvw. They really need to stop pushing for esport, its hurting their game. Instead, they should make spvp more fun. I’m a little surprised that spvp doesnt even have the classic death match or capture the flag game modes.

Now you can either equip Entropy since the hammer will look kitten on you. Or you can sell Entropy for the 30 gold and complete your Legendary.
Either way it’s a 30g decision. And so it is with farming mats.

I run with an organized guild group in WvW, and I will admit the frequent ranger jokes are pretty kitten funny.
Then I remember that I play one. Melee cleric bunker, though, instead of the typical dps ranger (or “opening strike ranger” as our guild leader jokingly calls them).
Frankly, I feel like we have to work twice as hard for half the effectiveness of, say, a warrior or guardian.
Pets are our achilles heel, yet the justification for lousy power scaling and overall crappiness. :/
