Thaumanova Reactor in Metrica Providence continues to provide ridiculous easy in dailies. First, well over fifteen different mob types within itself and the surrounding area, tons of corpses lying around (revive daily), the ice shards can be dodged right as the red circle pops up over and over and at least 4 consecutive dynamic events occur one top of each other, plus secret one. On top of that, displaced creatures spawn for another type (three of them) at random after these events, nearby at the waypoint collecting golem parts, the nearby tower gets destroyed (plus two others can be done nearby, plus a final easy as heck fourth event), a champion golem to the south, veteran shadow being to the south west, killing a kamikaze golem to the north east.
Trust me, dailies have been easy even before this. Only challenging ones are combo finisher, which requires you to go elsewhere, and crafting means you collect trees and ore to process.
The new effects on several of the legendaries, as well as fixes, are pretty awesome to behold and goes to show that they’re still working on making the efforts of the players feel more legendary in the end. However, as far as I know, The Minstrel still lacks unique and noticeable properties. I can personally confirm that Meteorlogicus, while still pretty, also has evaded the patch.
Final note, if no one was made aware of previous videos by Anet, someone in their midst is a brony, kinda funny with The Dreamer’s projectile’s having the Anet arch as a cutie mark. Found it rather humorous.

Any of the rank 1 and 2 realms in Wv3 will be populated, but majority of areas outside of LA, you’ll run into another player on occasion, unless it’s a well known or constantly advertised event going on.
Midnight Purple, Midnight Fuchsia, Gold and Antique Bronze.
I think I almost have Zojja down, the borderline is close, except on the pants, but it’s pretty darn close…might be the lighting.
These shoes are awesome! (1st pic) How are they called?
Half Eaten boots, from a vendor right outside LA to the south, starts a chain where he gets devoured by a drake, and you have to rescue him. I’m not sure they are the same as the shadow boots, but that’s where I found them.
Slander, Meteorlogicus has history! It has been used to dictate whither or not it was going to rain that day for generations! To heck with just guessing by looking at the clouds!
I like to break out mine and teach myself a song, I apologize if I annoyed you during my tone-deaf musical symphony.
Every player has a different definition of fun, and I hate it when people screech that a particular event/dungeon/mechanic isn’t fun- therefore everyone doesn’t find it fun- needs to stop posting. That’s not to say that Legendaries can’t be modified in one way or another to make the long term goal more enjoyable, we’ll see in the future how Arena.net handles it.
One thing they do need to change is the diversity of how to obtain the materials for a Legendary. Bolt and Sunrise both require Charged Lodestones for a gift, both have unique properties and are easily distinguishable as Legendaries, but Meteorlogicus also requires Charged Lodestones. It’s a very sought out Legendary to begin with, and while gorgeous, doesn’t have the same effects as other Legendaries have. Which is odd, considering how easy it is to add little tornadoes in your footsteps or a little typhoon form out of your arm would of been to add in.
I had fun running and learning WvW, having obtained roughly 150 badges from it, I just form a party in a zerg and notice a significant increase to the amount of badges dropped. I had a fun learning the different fights in CoE and figuring out the most efficient ways to take down the bosses, even fighting the destryoer by myself, as the rest of my help ate lava or stood back manning the cannons and waiting (don’t worry, his health doesn’t reset, lend me a hand!…I hate standing around for 20-40 minutes beasting the sucker myself). I had fun running fractals, which in turn helped make obsidian shards, experimenting with the 1 and 10 recipes, getting back lodestones and 20 ectos in one shot, that was cool. Each completed gift felt great crafting and after all the effort, I finalized Meteorlogicus and was bloody proud making it. I knew before hand it lacked what other Legendaries possessed, but it was so dang pretty and I’ve wanted it since the first picture of the Legendaries surfaced. At times, it felt like a grind, but others, it didn’t.
There isn’t a way to make obtaining a Legendary without it feeling like a grind. There’s encounters you could add like one I saw saying fighting a Dragon Champion that required some teamwork, but other’s like doing 10 hard jumping puzzles in 30 minutes, that’s also a grind. Whenever you have a list of things you have to do, someone somewhere, will cry it’s a grind. It’s a skin, if you want one, then go for it and all the luck to you. If it’s too much of a grind, then don’t do it, getting tired of the infinite amount of threads over how much of a grind or unfulfilling it is, or how they aren’t Legendary because some statistic they pulled out of nowhere suggest every player who has one bought it (Meteorlogicus isn’t on the TP btw). Or my favorite, targetting players specifically in WvW because they have one, having a Legendary doesn’t make a player skilled, it means they’ve poured effort into making it, a complete moron could easily slam his face into his keyboard for a few hundred hours and pop one out, I did!
I always get bugged to swing my Meteorlogicus every few hours and give the weather report. Today will be a low 40’s to a high in the low 50’s, sunny with winds up to 10 mph.
Good day.
Midnight Purple, Midnight Fuchsia, Gold and Antique Bronze.

Agent Batanga is adorable and deadly, what more could you ask for? Efut’s boring as heck, she doesn’t feel like a warmaster at all.
Butterflies and chaos from the chaos theory, specifically the butterfly effect, a distant butterfly can cause the way hurricanes and time travel in stories, or how a bigger plot breaks into smaller ones.
To be honest, I barely notice it. Not sure if people feel emasculated because they shoot butterflies at people :/
I love how both true to the design and how ironic the video is. While true, you do scour all over Tyria to craft the weapons (wv3, dungeons, dynamic events and crafting) and are indeed the top tier or pinnacle of that specific weapon class by their design, even though you may find that Volcanus is superior to Sunrise.
The second part, I have a beef with. The weapons are a blend of art and effects that can change your character that can change the way your character looks; footprints, impressive slash effects and change projectiles to display your accomplishments. Well, that’s great, but you missed a few that seem to have none of the above or are inferior to even exotic weapons with effects. The designs may be gorgeous, but if you’re going to advertise them as legendary, make them so. Not to mention every legendary in the video has roughly all of the above.
I did change a word in there, which is “show off”. I don’t know many players who go around swinging their weapons unless asked, and I’ve certainly haven’t shoved Meteorlogicus in another player’s face going “LOOK WHAT I FINISHED THIS MORNING!! WOOOO!”. Please don’t take that as resentment for the lack of enhancements, I went in making it, knowing that it was lacking the effects, but it was the one legendary I set my eyes on from the start…it just looks so pretty.
It’s horizontal progression, it’s more for the skin if anything. You want it, so you either build it with your mats and gold, or you can buy it with gold. If this bothers you, then ignore the fact that they exist. It doesn’t make the player more elite that they have a legendary, I’m about to finish mine and I only have a sense of pride for the effort that’s gone into it, but I won’t be a braggart and shove it in people’s face, I’ve only to let the guild know that I finished it (they’ve been amazing in WvW), a couple of players who’ve asked to see it when done and a thank you post in chat for all the people who I’ve ran with in karma farming events along the way.
Though if someone ponied up the few grand to buy it, they’re paying the price for the materials and time the player took to craft it. It didn’t just appear out of thin air, it didn’t drop, it was crafted. In a sense, it’s the ultimate crafted skin, and thus it’s value is high. If you don’t like it, ignore it. If you see someone with a legendary, who’s to say they bought it or made it, and what difference does it make.
It’s a game, they aren’t better because of the weapon skin, but you’re less because you let something like this get under your skin. Please don’t take this as a form of “Stop whining, crybaby. U mad ‘cause you can’t get one”. I’m appealing to your better judgement. Also, there are thousands of players, many who fall into the both casual and hardcore (not sure what exactly an ultra hardcore is…like 5 minutes a day?), but they can do with their paycheck and gold as they see fit, as long as it doesn’t violate the terms of service. Please don’t degrade other players because the way they play.

You’d be surprised at the despise people have to Trahaerne, and it’s justified here and there. I saw some change in his character as the story progressed, but not enough or not shown enough by him to justify him as an exemplary champion of the vigil. If you really wanna get kitten off about it more, Destiny’s Edge did squat during the Zhaitan fight, I guess they were having tea and biscuits in the lounge with Trahaerne being the waitress. Spend all that time getting them back together, through all the angst, not enough passion to warrant any hate regardless if you know the back story because of the books or not.
I wish they could of just had him be a side character, rather than a traveling companion, he’s just too much of a coward and a wimp to want to drag along, even with the blade. Even though he can barely handle a small number of risen without getting stomped, but I can solo champions just fine. If they incorporated him and DE into the last fight, having you jump to the other airships where you saw returning characters and decisions based on your personal storyline fighting against Zhaitan, each causing him damage with each hop, or inflicting way to make him weaker, it would of been a justifiable and enjoyable adventure. All Trahaerne did was speak for you a bit, gathered intelligence and acted as an adviser while you still made the important decisions, but instead it’s the other way around.
Trahaerne- Dragon bad, very bad. I have an idea how to fight and hurt him, cause I’m now not a coward. By the way commander, how should I do it, ‘cause I can’t even eat a meal by myself without someone telling me which side order to get? Oh, good idea, I agree. We’ll use big lasers and mass forces, and I’ll take a caeser salad as well.

It is likely an oversight on ANet’s part. I would consider this a bug.
In the future, I also wouldn’t be half surprised if they made a Mystic Forge recipe that required both pistols, and created another pistol with a unique skin called Lyssa. It seems almost too obvious to pass up for them.
Too easy, make it a Twin barreled pistol with two females intertwining up the sides, both looking different from one another and have it shoot chaos-like bullets.
Thank god more people are voicing this side of the argument. The weapons are LEGENDARY. what does that mean to you? I think legendary means it’s suppose to be REALLY HARD to get. People need to understand that. And for people saying they arent better and therefore should not be any harder to get. Do you realize you are playing guild wars? Not wow? This game is about skins, not stats.
Having lots of money/time/lucky drops does not equal hard to acquire, and that’s all Legendary items are currently.
Actually it does, just not in the way you prefer. A player who devotes more time to farming the materials, spending gold and setting the goals will have an easier time obtaining the legendary then those who don’t, it’s all truly based on the devotion of the player. There’s no true way to make it more difficult outside of having the player complete every “optional” piece of content like jumping puzzles, every boss achievement, every bit mini-dungeon and location exploration (outside of map completion, there are pieces of the zone you have to venture to discover), do every dungeon and wing….etc.
Currently, it touches every bit of content available; dungeons, map exploration, dynamic events, crafting and world vs*3. What makes it “fair” depends on the player, and not every piece of this game can be. They are adding a scavenger hunt to allow players without mass amounts of gold in their pockets to obtain them, but it’ll probably be “hard” to differentiate the needed effort to either obtain it through time consumption or to pony up and buy on the trading post.
Probably the worst legendary to get past the focus and the underwater.
Simply for the ripoff feeling you get out of it.It’s like putting 4 endless tonics and get an endless golem tonic.
I hope for you there’ll be a fix.
And protip: youtube is your friend next time.
Meteorlogicus also got the shaft, but it’s not so bad since it looks cool.
I have heard that Eternity was never meant to have footsteps or a blade trail and have also heard that there will be a patch coming in January that will fix this as well as some other Legendary items.
I Recently finished my Eternity after an almost 700 hour grind fest and am a little disappointed that it has not been fixed yet. I understand that there is other “important” matters in the game as well but this item took me and others a lot of time to create and I for one would like it to be as epic as possible.
There are other obvious flaws with eternity specifically being the day/night transitions which lead me to believe that it is an unfinished product currently. For example, when you un-sheath your sword during the night time while the sword is Twilight the Sunrise aura effect surrounds you instead of the twilight aura for that split second.
I can not find anywhere in most forums I have visited to validate that there will be a fix. i am here seeking an answer from a Dev and not just pure speculation.
I appreciate any helpful information that follows
Hate to deviate from the topic, but do you have a link to the jan fix?
I’m just including the link to the post from Jon Peters that Laika quoted above, so people can see the context:

Understandable, bugs can be iffy to fix, regardless how we see them and think we can fix them. I appreciate all the work you do, the small .25 doesn’t really impact my game play and I don’t notice the CD unless I take a gander at the bar and see it. To others, it’s the end of the world, but what else is new, we’ve had like five apocalypses occur last year.
I doubt they will be easily obtained. The price may drop, but it comes down to you time vs the item’s value. If you think it’ll be better to hunt for it, then you have the option, or if you believe the cost of the item is less than what it would take you to earn it, then buy it.
Going to get flamed and bashed, but it’s a bug fix that we mesmers were willing to exploit, therefore it’s justified. Now we’ll be seeing people crying out for blood because of it.
The high price of a Legendary is it’s value, though it can be a bit overzealous depending on the buyer, but it’s a two way street. If they put up an item for what they believe it’s worth, and you purchase it based on the price, then it’s value as a Legendary is justified, as long as (personal opinion, I can be wrong) is above that of the materials required, as you’re also paying for the player’s time and effort to craft it. Though they could put it up for 30 copper, and that’s what they think it’s worth, then that’s their opinion, and you can do with it however you so choose.

Just follow it step by step to get from 1 to 400 as quickly and painlessly as possible.
Several legendaries don’t have similar effects as other legendaries, that shouldn’t dissuade crafting them. I’m going after the scepter, it has a light blue aura on the weapon with a little trail to it, and it’s bigger than most scepters, unless you’re an asura and then it loses a decent chunk of the raw awesome it has.
Not making an excuse to why they don’t have the effects, every legendary should, I’m just waiting till they patch them in.
Apparently you don’t have to complete them, just find them. Completing them is fun anyways, even to those of us who’ve done every single one. Personally, I see this as a reason to head back without someone asking me to. Thirty Jumping Puzzles? That’s too bloody easy.
Can be done with a mesmer as well, using blink. It is, indeed pretty. Wish we could go in First Person for some screenshots without my asura’s head in the bloody way!

Yeah, it’s annoying how much clipping goes on with the set, not to mention the shoulders don’t even show. Also, change the main color of your armor to Midnight Purple, it matches the sword and you won’t stick out like a glowing pink neon sign in WvW.
Looking for Zojja's Blue Dye (Also found in the art of the tier 3 heavy Asura fighter)
in Asura
Posted by: Acidicore.3264
Ignore everything before, updated because I was recently asked in-game, because the colors didn’t match. The in-game render of Zojja was terrible for comparison, so I finally found her in CM Story and did a comparison.
It’s Blueberry, Lemon Zest and Antique Bronze. http://tinyurl.com/c5og85t
It’s extremely close, the yellow is the closest I can get it, it looks different on the skirt with a slight variation in shading, but the rest is color for color spot on.
A bug occurred where players were able to capture the Shrine of Balthazar, this has been fixed and now will remain uncontested indefinitely as designed.
….who knows, probably a few bug issues with the Wintersday event.
hmm, no scepter love? whats up with that, do they really think that weapon is an ok weapon set for mesmers? Of hand sword just got usefull though. trait working and dazzling adding lots of vulnerability stacks, great for pve content finally.
That or they’re still working on it.
Yay! <3 (Signet of inspiration.. I told you so xD)
Yeah, you did tell us to listen…don’t worry, you screeched it every 4 seconds for hours on end.
Seem like no nerfs, unless there’s another bug, pretty solid patch delivery.
Signet of Inspiration: Increased swiftness duration from five to ten seconds. This passive effect now works outside of combat.
Temporal Curtain: Increased swiftness duration to 12 seconds.
There ya go!
A free wizard’s hat is available in the style category for every player to enjoy.
There, now we can bank the hat as well. I’ll continue wearing my GW2 launch cap tyvm!
Finally, thank you Shundis.
90% of items right now sell for 1 copper over what you can sell them to a vendor.
i love made up statistics.
oddly, anything i buy from the TP doesnt fall into this “90%”
Cause you’re buying, not selling…. people who opt for the auto-sell option to make a quick buck right away often fall prey to the market players who buy low and are willing to set the prices a little higher when they sell and wait until the item sells.
It’s a common thing across all MMO’s with an auction house/trading post. WoW is even worse with pages and pages of stuff one copper cheaper than the other guy’s. Manipulating the TP isn’t tough, but we live in a McDonald’s society, where people want things now and ignore/don’t care about planning ahead.
A few bug fixes, some stuff players have blown out of proportion they think is going to be awesome, skill balancing (either pos or neg) and a couple of new bugs.
Almost 2100 here, was going to do FOTM, WvW and Dungeons, but the new patch kicks you off and I’d rather not see it happen right as we’re taking a castle, finishing the FOTM daily or finishing up a dungeon wing.
The players labeled it as an RP realm. The biggest issue is that they advertised it by saying people are out in zones doing DE’s, like Balthazarr, which is downright amazing, but sad for a lot of realms. I haven’t seen it uncontested or rarely see other players out and about in several realms.
Sea of Sorrows, Northern Shiverpeaks, Anvil Rock and now Darkhaven. I wish we as players could encourage it more, but everyone’s put off by DR and bugs in the zones, they’d rather farm dungeons, zerg WvW for karma and do FOTM.
They’ve said it’s one of the weapons that needed work done, and I’m hoping that just the speed of the ether bolt chain’s projectile wasn’t the last we’ll see of it. The biggest issue is how boring it is, but this is my opinion so don’t white knight me for having one. The clones are lackluster, and for ranged clones they spawn on top of the mob, while great for on death traits and considering they don’t do anything spectacular that can’t be done by other clones. iCounter and the blind, when utilized properly are strong, they’re nothing too impressive. Confusing Images is glorious, though I wish the wind up would be faster.
If I could make a suggestion, make the scepter clones have a small percentage of refreshing confusion, not adding any stacks, or give them some conditions to inflict. You summon a clone, each attack it’ll apply one type of condition and that clone will only apply that condition or something.
Might get some nasty feedback for this but the second ability could use an overhaul. Make it create a bubble on the caster and keep us stationary and plop down a glamour field around us, allies in the field benefit from protection and enemies from vulnerability. The enemy attacks the shield, if it doesn’t break it creates a clone, if it does, it shatters and creates a blast causing confusion and damage, giving aegis to allies and weakness to foes and creates a clone. The field remains on the ground for double the duration of the shield. Secondary activation ability is up to you all *blind on cancel bubble so that it doesn’t destroy the field etc).

68 shards made 18 mystic clovers for me, about 26% chance for me, but it’s been confirmed to be 33%, I’ll chock it up to not being lucky enough. To be honest, I don’t mind, it’s materials I’ll use to craft the other parts anyways or perhaps sell any lodestones I don’t need for extra gold. On top of it all, while the possibility of creating a mystic clover is a gamble, I feel great when I see one, as it’s one more step towards completing my legendary.
It’ll all be worth it in the end, swinging around a legendary weapon, feeling like a boss.
It’s soulbound on use, so you could sell it if you wanted to. Congratulations of your legendary Dogblaster, 75% of the way there for my Meteorlogicus.
It’s definitely not for those who don’t like creating medium to long term plans, since the materials needed plus the precursor can push back your plans significantly. I’ve been picking at it for over a month and a half now, biding my time and building up necessary materials to give me a boost in the right direction. Now I’m sitting on 100 icy runestones, almost 4/5 of the dust of for the gift of energy, fifteen mystic clovers, bloodstone shard, enough karma to buy two hundred and fifty obsidian shards and a hodgepodge of random materials to craft the other mystic clovers, gifts and the precursor itself.
It’s only a matter of time, though farming the charged lodestones will be the bigger barrier for me, along with the gift of battle. It’s not that I hate Wv3, it’s that it takes too bloody long to accumulate that many badges of honor, stuck at one hundred and fifty at the moment.
Seen a couple of Twilights and one Sunrise, prefer sunrise myself. I was lucky…or unlucky, and found a Storm, using it as a means to make the gift of might and magic, gather mystic clovers…etc. If I come across another precursor or they implement the scavenger hunt thing for them, I may change to another. As it stands, I’m working towards making a Meteorlogicus…it’s a pretty lovely legendary; lacks anything specials like swinging animation, footsteps, ability animation changes, character modification and our skill set is lackluster with scepters…but it sure looks pretty.
Clones override phantasms if there isn’t room for a clone. That aside, the scepter definitely needs more polishing, it’s a pity how weak it is compared to the sword, even Prometheus gave it a C for crying out loud. The weapon itself across all professions is a rare sight, with the exception of guardians.
I swear I have been really good this year I swear. I only stole Councilor Flaxx’s staff once and so me in an alternate reality conquered Tyria and destroyed everyone.
So now that that is out of the way for Wintersday I would like…
A Golem that doesn’t get lazy and vanishes after a few minutes.
A flute
The ability to wield a pistol in my main hand and a shield as a memser
To see Tengu join us
The annihilation of all skritt
To learn more about the Largos
A 6ft tall gingerbread golem
Oh and a new outfit for males that includes a kit….
From the lab of
Voxx The InfiniteI made a Wintersday list for Toymaker Tixx what is on your list… thing is sign it as your main character
You’ll be waiting awhile for it, and the shield’s silly, the engineers need it to make them look cool and unique. Plus, they need to buff up the scepter before splashing another mainhand on the class.
I’d like 100 charged lodestones for Wintersday, I know it’s asking for a lot, but it’s all I’d ask for
