If we follow your logic you’ll have to compare the glyph to a fully traited Ether Renewal, meaning it will give toughness and endurance regen, ie more sustained effective healing.

It’s not an “easy-to-get 10 point trait” when you have for example 30 in arcane and water. Then you probably want another trait.

@Pikafan: You forgot that you need to invest trait points to get GoEH to 20 seconds cooldown. Without traits it has 25 seconds cooldown giving it less HPS.

I’d really like to see something besides a speed boost for daggers even if the trait worked and it stacked with swiftness. Dual daggers already has plenty of distance closing skills AND swiftness all over the place, more move speed just seems unimpressive to me in any capacity.

Maybe something as simple as an AoE increase. Works for Staff, why not Daggers? I could get behind bigger AoE’s on Ring of Fire, Chilling Burst, Ride the Lightning, Churning Earth, ect.

Or if you really want to play on daggers being fast weapons, how about a boost to attack speed instead of movement speed? That would be interesting and not redundant, and its not like Elementalists have any other attack speed boosts. Nothing major, maybe 10-15%.

That actually made me think: Those 3 traits are the only weapon specific traits we have, so why not abandon them too?

Make those 3 traits have nothing to do with weapon choice:
- 1 makes all your aoe bigger
- 1 gives you a bit more endurance regen

And the formerly-dagger one is still kitteny, even if if would stack with swiftness. Maybe something with conditions?

LOL at people thinking knockdown-dragonstooth-phoenix is actually a good combo. Against noobs maybe, good players will simply dodge everything after the knockdown because it doesn’t last long enough to guarantee the tooth to hit.

Tornado sucks, LOL?

It’s our best point control elite. Granted it takes a high toughness build so you don’t instantly die while in in, but with such a build it simply reads: Noone will be contesting this point while you are in tornado form.

Also you can always insta-cancel it to simply get ~20 seconds of stability.

I agree, Time to Kill < 5 seconds takes away all the skill from a game. Warrior bullrushing frenzy 100blades you? Instant death, you don’t even have to be a glass cannon. And unless you have catlike reflexes there is nothing you can do against it.

Haste in general is a real problem. Can’t understand how that made it out of beta. A warrior with frenzy ready is a 1shot killing machine. A warrior without frenzy ready is usually a easy kill.

Spec 30 into water. You just removed 1 by going into mist form, and another 2 by changing to water. You can remove another one by using your heal if you are taking damage. If it’s that much of a problem, bring cleansing, and you can remove every condition on you at once.

Sounds nice on paper put the problem is in mistform your traits don’t work. So when you try to use the healing glyph in mistform the regeneration won’t remove a condition. And if you have time/enough HP to use the glyph before using mistform then you didn’t need to use mistform in the first place.

Cleansing fire removes 3, not all conditions. Not enough against a conditionmancer for example. Also with 2 of our utilities usually taken up by arcane shield and mistform to survive bringing cleansing fire is a hard choice.

Agreed with OP. I don’t care about the amount of effort. The effort pays off with the amount of AoE damage, boons, and healing/condition removal we can bring on a given build.

I burst down any toughness no HP build pretty fast, unless it’s a straight up bunker. Fire Grab is hitting more often, so I’ve been taking Arcane Wave over Signet of Earth lately, and it’s just made the burst that much more potent. RTL > Updraft > Shocking Aura > Burning Speed > Ring of Fire > Arcane Wave > Fire Grab can nearly kill Thieves, Warriors, and Rangers with no problem. They will be dead once I hit Earth. Often end 1v1s, and some 2v1s, with full HP.

I still firmly believe that, aside from the bugs, the complaints come from people either not seeing the big picture (everything we can bring to a team), or build/L2P issues.

Again this only works against complete noobs who don’t know how to dodge or use defensive skills. So congrats you can have a chance against noobish players with your ele. Against good players neither of those skills in your looooooong combo will hit.

More damage on all our autoattacks.
Huge cooldown reduction on Firegrab and Updraft, something like 15 and 20 seconds respectively.
Firegrab damage boost.
Cooldown reduction on whirlwind elite to 90 seconds like daggerstorm.
Fix ALL the bugs.
Change dagger air2 to blind instead of weakness, make instant.

Water field for daggers, probably dagger w5 so scepter could also have a water field to combo off.

Make conjured weapons instant cast and switchable to for their duration, just like engineer kits (but with a conjured duration and when that is up they go on cooldown) and make them lose the second weapon.

everytime I join there are people under rank 10. yes under rank 10 mostly under 5. they have no clue what to do and myself higher ranked player dont wanna waste time (which they do) so I just leave when I see people with basic outfit.

Yes, it is bad, but newbies join tournaments and ruin other people experiences since there is no balance of ranks/ team/pug.

Yeah people with basic outfits are an instalose. I hate those, those are ALWAYS complete noobs. But how do you leave a tournament? I always get ported back in…

Yes random and premade free tourneys NEED to be separate queues. Whenever I play with a premade it’s a free win against randoms, and when I queue solo it’s a loss without any points or fun against a premade.

1 condition. Not multiple ones. And you usually have 3-4 on you when you need to use mist form (one of them might be immobilized).

Mist Form/Glyph of Elemental Power (probably all other skills too): If you use mistform while casting GoEP the cast finishes and goes on cooldown but you get no heal. Doesn’t make any sense because you can cast it while in mistform, and you can use mistform while stomping without interrupting it.

Thieves #2 harpoon gun skill does over 10k damage (4-5 hits, each for 2-3k each), and is spammable.

Our underwater skills are attrocious.

Do you understand that the game just came out, and there’s a lot of things to fix, including 8 professions?

Just came out? The game has been out for over 2 month. Most (like 90%) of our still existing bugs have been known since the first beta weekend, so more than 4 month now. And a lot of those bugs would be easy fixes (mistform cd reduction, rtl cd reduction, …)

One of my biggest gripes are our “reduces fire/air/water/earth weapon skill recharge by X%” traits. Seeing as they reduce 25% of our weapon skills compared to 50% of other classes they should have something extra (hell most other classes get reduced cooldowns + something extra even).

The only thing I’ve actually seen work with lingering elements is getting the water regeneration 5 seconds going into other attunements. Dunno what else works.

Since the halloween patch a few days ago the Final Shielding (ele trait) is bugged. It triggers the arcane shield at 10% instead of 25%. Which is useless because ele have so low HP. Tooltip still says 25%. Sometimes it doesn’t trigger at all.((((

Churning earth goes on the normal cooldown when interrupted instead of the interrupt cooldown (which is about 4 seconds?). This sucks.

The arcane shield from the final shielding trait now triggers at 10% health instead of 25%. I.e. never because you’re dead if you get below 20% because they oneshot you.

After the halloween patch:

Vapor form (downed skill) doesn’t last 3 seconds. 1-2 seconds max.
Ride the lightning is EVEN MORE BUGGED HOW CAN THIS BE? Now it goes straight down instead of arcing when used in the air. Meaning you cant even go over distances you can NORMALLY JUMP. This is kittened up.
