Agreed. Another mini and another 15-slot bag! Win.
I don’t get this complaining. What the GM said earlier was true. Unfortunately, some people got cheated when they got nothing from the chest. This is a fix for those that got nothing.
In fact, if you got something, you should now have TWO of those 15-slot bags on top of everything else.
Seems win-win to me. And yes, I also bought the other three minis, but now I can have one out with me and the other in the bank.
Don’t look a gift horse in the mouth.
Agreed. I really, really, really expected a toy invasion in Lion’s Arch for the finale. But . . . well, maybe it could still happen?
Here’s to hoping.
It does matter. It is one event. Not fifty. It’s not a requirement as far as character progression. There’s no noteworthy reward. As far as never being added, I disagree.
I suspect that this was added in this way for the casuals who returned to the game for the holidays and to see what’s what. So, in a way, it’s to help those without a guild, group, or friends who aren’t playing the game with them.
Yes, you can voice your disappointment. But, please understand just because you dislike something, doesn’t mean it’s game-breaking or a tragedy because it was added.
I know quite a few casuals who are grateful they didn’t have to beg for a group before trying this. And, if this lasts a week or so, the chances of getting group thins quite a bit.
That’s probably another reason for this.
I agree on the story line. Was there one? But, after Lost Shores, I kind of understand why Anet tuned it down a bit.
Was kind of hoping the ‘invasion’ would be toys running amok in Lion’s Arch, every hour or so, but it’s all good.
I liked it a lot. I didn’t care for the Gift Stopper achievement, but it’s not impossible.
People are saying these 200 cogs are to help those that were cheated due to some bug earlier this week.
Seems so. I kept my Halloween one and banked the Toymaker’s bag. It’s nice, but the flaming book looks cooler.
For God’s sake, it’s not THAT hard of an achievement. My group did it without saying a word to each other until it was done. And that say, basically, “Good job.”
Once you’ve identified that you’ve randomly grouped with idiots . . . leave that group and try for another one.
Please don’t reward stupid.
I tried three times, with three frames, and got nothing. I know a trend when I see one, and I don’t need the tonics that badly. Thank you, but no thank you.
I’ll save my gold.
In another thread, a mod said you’ll only get the reward once. So, if you got it in Lion’s Arch, you won’t get it in the Mists.
No idea why some are getting neither.

Gaming is serious business.
I posted on this most epic thread.
Don’t forget the hay after you kill Toxx. This can make all the difference if the cows are damaged badly.
Just did this as well with random people. Great fun and doable if you’re not grouped with complete idiots.
Exactly. This was tons of fun once everyone knows what to do. People should figure it out quickly over this week. It’s like some Christmas version of Plants versus Zombies.
Loved it.
Great job, Anet.
Yes, after this newest patch (3 Dec 12), the diving goggles from this area are still missing.
Yep. Was wondering what was happening. This bug stopped me from completing the story line quest. Still no fix on Tarnished Coast.
Still missing on Tarnished Coast as well. Must say, with all these new bugs like the one in Arah, I’m starting to wonder if anyone is listening or working to fix them.
In the meantime, I’m starting to think it may be best to just play something else . . . especially after the Lost Shore fiasco.
Ah well.
