Star’s ball is very good. BS had multiple skirmishes last night and we had difficulty killing any Star unless we separated them from their ball. The SF pugs tagging along were easy lootbags though.

AR is doing a great comeback which I am glad to hear!

There were some awesome, awesome fights tonight in SF BL. BS had a ton of fun fighting both DH and SF. Star = 10 warriors, 10 guards, 1 necro, 1 ele or something. With permanent stability.

I’ve had better fights with DH than SF. But then I can pretty much say, I’ve had better fights with [insert any other server] than SF.

I joined Mend on IoJ. Not gonna say anything about us or VLK/HoD/ET. Would rather personally face you guys on Neutral Terms in my mind and decide then. I will say Mend is no longer a defensive guild. Open field fights are a new foray of ours.

ET and Mend have history. Anyway, we’re not likely to meet again unless rng is really harsh.

Anyways, I wish I could be there for this match. Tried to convince VLK to come over to have some fun, and GvG [BS] [CoSa] and [Star] however the 1000 gem transfer cost kitten ed all over that idea.

I go to WvW for fights. We take an objective hoping that people will come to cap it back. That is about it.

I typically call it roaming/havoc but the camps or sentries don’t matter. We want to merk people.

I’ve had more participation from my guild this week due to the holiday. I would think other people would be the same.

I don’t see why SF is complaining that ET “hasn’t shown up.” Our PPT isn’t ridiculously low during primetime. It is low during our coverage gaps (basically everything except primetime).

It sounds like SF is just looking for external factors to blame. I am amused by the idea of Eredon Terrace controlling 2nd place though. Look guys! We’re uber powerful! We’re going to determine the rankings in leagues!

This match so far sucks.

I love playing WvW for the big epic battles, I don’t care about lag, I don’t care about the “who did what to whom”. What I want the most is big large scale epic battles. So far there has been only 1 here, and I have spent majority of my time since reset in WvW.

Even the 1 big battle at the garison has been cheesed to the maximum by warbanner train, but that one is on A-net since we would do the same had our roles been reversed. I really do hope a-net does something about that, just another one of many broken game mechanics.

All the other times the fights are just some sort of stupid chases, often of warriors traited for max runing away skills and perma stealth thieves. Guilds like BS and few others cant put up any decent fight all they do is just skirmish and run which sucks.

Our last 2 weeks we got to fight MU and VLK when going up against HoD. Neither DH nor ET have anything that can come even remotely close that in quality on both their servers combined.

So maybe some other people from SF will post about good fights etc. just to make you all feel better, but I won’t, I’ll tell you straight out, for a game opponent, you suck and you disappoint.

Edit: P.S. Just before you start throwing GvGs in here, a GvG is nothing like rest of WvW. It is neither largescale, strategic, nor tactical enough. It just don’t cut it.

I suggest you transfer to T1 for epic scale battles. I read your post and it seems you are in the wrong tier. Especially since you don’t care about skill lag. The queues on JQ weren’t bad when I was there. SoR seems to have weakened so their queues are probably short too.

I don’t want to hear you complain about the lack of epic battles. No one comes to the lower tiers for epic battles. I am on ET because I love skirmishing. I love playing without skill lag and I love being able to run havoc without running away from the 60 man zerg 90% of the time.

If you would like a “decent fight”, come at BS with comparable numbers. We don’t run unless we’re severely outnumbered. I’m sorry but our 10 man (if we have that many) isn’t going to stay to be rolled over by your 40 man zerg. I quote “decent fight” because you sound like someone who likes to spam 1 to face roll people. My definition of a decent fight involves the actual use of skill. You might need to look up the definition of that word.

I had an epic fun time last night in the south end of SF BL. Thanks to the DH & SF that came out to play. I remember [nova] being pretty persistent even though we outnumbered their group of 3-4.

Great fights tonight. I think BS kitten ed off CoSA in SF BL because they doubled their numbers to take us on.

BS is looking for practice gvgs in the new OS arena. If interested, please message Avatar of Belle.9623. We’ll do 5v5 up to 15v15. The 15 is iffy since the entire guild has to show up so it might more of a 10+ practice gvg.

No FSÆ was my guild before I joined Mend. It was me and my GW1 friends. A bunch of us left Mend and we went to FSÆ so we could stay together.

To those who are whining about not being able to finish the 15 achievements — you’re not trying hard enough. I finished on the lowest ranked server – Eredon Terrace — in 9 days. I know people who finished in six. It’s not that hard. If you’re quitting and leaving the game — what a waste, but it’s up to you. It’s your money down the drain, not mine.

It blows my mind that you are experiencing ET as it is right now, but came into this thread to say something other than ‘this sucks and needs to change’. Been playing ~4 hours a day since the start of the month, I have 7 of the achievements done. You must be lucky enough to play in our ‘peak’ hours.

Are you on ET too? I’m also on ET and I had my achievements done weeks ago. I only had to actively go after the repair achievement since nobody wants to repair since it is boring. I think it would be more difficult to get the achievements on higher tiers because more people are chasing the same yak or sentry. Especially if the other servers have given up. Look at the gold league. JQ & BG must be super bored.

DZ is still getting built, but we have been having some great runs (Winning 3v8s, 2v5s etc), I think next week should be fairly fun either way we will be running around looking for some fun fights!
