My feedback in random order.

The league gold/silver/bronze tables probably doesn’t need a column to designate the league. Maybe add it to the title? Something like League Season 1: Gold

I like seeing the match up schedules. It feels like it takes up a lot of space. I am not sure if it needs to be shrunk or something else. Maybe make it two columns instead?

+1000 for the “vs” font.

For some reason I think of Maguuma as “Mag” instead of “MAG” but that might be my personal preference. It probably looks odd since every thing else is capitalized.

I love your dedication to this thread. I like seeing stats and numbers so threads like this make me very happy.

Is Server Police still on JQ? I was on JQ at the time and I remember Server Police + guildies running around in JQ. Unfortunately, at the time, they were not used to T1 zergs so they were getting wiped quite often.

PS: Bronze league is the most competitive league. If you do transfer, help out AR & DR. they need bodies.

1. You commanders go for an objective and half your forces go for a door.

2. You are not coordinating multi map efforts

3. Everyone is using there own comms

4. Your pugs aren’t trained to stack / buff / field / etc

5. Your golem strikes were not organized and drivers died to cannon fire instead of rotating out 3s (golem shield)

6. Your roamers failed to prep keeps for strikes , ie destroying cannons / oils

7. Your roamers failed to keep waypoints contested during attacks , allowing for instant reinforcements

8. Your omega drivers stacked under oils.

Yep definately numbers. You guys are so kittenen awesome.

That being said. Some of your groups have operated as a team. So those getting rolled all over the place might want to man up and talk to the commanders who made something happen.

I will want to see your superior tactics work against vastly superior numbers like Stormbluff Isle and Fort Aspenwood (The difference between their population and yours, must be the same as yours and ours)… Then I’ll accept defeat by superior tactics and not by superior numbers.

Sorry, sounds completely boring. I went to JQ to “play properly” and it was fun for a few weeks and then it became a chore. A lot of the people on both sides were (in my eyes) players with very little skill and honestly not that much fun (for me).

I like chasing people halfway across the map. I like small group fights.

What I don’t like is people telling me that their way of playing this game is the ONLY way or the BEST way to play the game. WvW is designed to be a sandbox. Everybody should be allowed to find fun the way the find fun

Hint: PPT and overall score !=! Fun.

Do you follow zergs around though and cause them to wipe? Also, in bronze, even a zerg is a small group fight.

When I read your question, there is an implication that I am rallybait. The other implication I read is that people not in a zerg are rallybait. Do you think that and why?

To answer your question, I run with my guild or with friends I know. In general, I do not follow commanders.

I have no idea what the leagues will look like but I’m looking forward to the T8 glicko ghetto matchup of SF/ET/FC.

Thanks for starting the bronze league thread! I felt a little left out that Gold & Silver got a thread and we had nothing.

I’m also see Bronze league to be the most competitive (and hopefully fun) league to be in.

I attended ET ladies night! It was fun and I met some new ladies in WvW.

I play something like 90% WvW/sPvP. The 10% is when the guys in my guild drag me into dungeons. (I’m looking at you Gal!)

Tonight was super fun. I rarely go to EB but for some reason my guild was there tonight. YB was spawn camping (WITH SIEGE) and we went out and wiped them several times. Pity they were using cannons or we would have pushed them to Keep and left them there.

Thank you YB spawn campers for being easy kills. I know it is hard to play when you have more than 3 skills on your bar.

I both surprised and pleased at the perception that ET (and bro FC) will do well in leagues.

The point I like the most is that bronze league is shaping up to be the most competitive (least blowout) league of the three. I honestly do not know who will win.

I can pretty much predict the top two contenders of gold & silver league. People in higher tiers don’t know what they’re missing out on.

If you want me to, i can spice up the thread with hatred and keyboard smashing but DH and DR have it bad, they remind me of FC several weeks ago against NSP, so I been there and I know the feeling of being beat by skilled and superior zerg tactics, so I’m letting them off this week, unless of course im given a motivation..

It was boring yesterday. I was on a map where the only PPT ET had was the camp and tower we recently capped. Usually we wait for fights but this time the entire YB WvW population came by because we were the only thing to fight. We downed a few but it wasn’t too fun.

On the other hand the zerg was noticeably smaller due to new pve content pulling away some of their fairweathers.

Tuna, stop having duels when I’m at work. It makes me jelly.

I was not aware of the exodus of Kaineng’s WvW guilds. I’m rather astonished at the news but I actually expect that to make bronze league even more competitive.

I found WvW to be more fun when it’s small groups that fight each other. Mass blobs of 30v30 or 50v50 lead to lag and chaos. Three cheers for another small group server coming into the fold.

Hold on. I thought NSP wanted to go to Silver League to show Devon Carver the ‘fun’ of WvW. Kaineng may be doing it for selfish reasons but it seems to lead to a desired result. If I can find the thread, I’ll edit my post later.

I kinda love it when people spawn camp. I don’t have to go far to get a fight! Plus there’s always the joy of trying to pull someone into legendary defender range.

People who are partial to objective based WvW may disagree.

PS: I’m totally guilty of running into the legendary defender. My guild had to rez me last night.

I hate when people tell me that WvW is only meant for XYZ. It’s a ‘sandbox’ game. I play as I want to. (Definition for those who need it http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sandbox_Game)

The QQ and anguished crying is delicious. I will feast for days on the Sea of Sorrow(ful tears).

PPT…what’s that? I play for fights. It’s hard to find a YB that isn’t part of the 50 man zerg but the ones we can pull away are easy kills.

The best part of this matchup is that SF doesn’t have any fairweathers on either. It’s nice to see them without inflated numbers.

We never get many transfers and people transfer off and fizzle out or pve and whatnot. Has nothing to do with not wanting to be in silver league. We will be happy anywhere there are fights, win or lose pointwise.

I expect you will become the new bandwagon server for bronze league. If I were a bandwagoner I’d be looking at NSP, HoD, SF…possibly DH (DH is doing very poorly this week so that would strike it off my list). To be honest I like NSP the most out of all of these servers since I like the roaming groups on your server.

Last time I saw your engineer you were zerker, and couldn’t kill Subject 7 on the Queen’s Gauntlet…

I bought a dire set and added perplexity runes for wvw trolling.
