@style, I can still win my 1v1 matches (had to respec) even against someone with two bloodlust buffs. I am OP as a necro (except against stunlock warriors T_T)

JQ appeared to be outnumbered versus SoR & BG during NA prime (at least when I was on JQ). I would agree that out of the top 3, JQ probably had the least amount of queued maps.

It’s pretty easy to grab ruins. We did it with two people last night. You can do it with one person but you pretty much need zero opposition to do it that way.

I read the first post and anticipate a lively discussion on the new point meta and how roamers will earn more ppt. I get a long discussion about yaks….what the kitten?

In T7/T8, you can cap the buff with just two people (requires minimal interference from the other servers). The new area is great for finding small fights and zergs (for the most part) leave it alone. We did run into a 6-8 man group once but they weren’t really interested in the buff.

I didn’t really notice the buff making too much of a difference in my fights. I still averaged about the same number of kills/deaths. I did have to respec my traits and utilities for more 1v1s as opposed to fighting small group of 5. I rather enjoying this random dueling aspect of WvW.

FSÆ (Æ = alt + 0198). I blame Jajarra for choosing a difficult name to spell.

You would have to coordinate the extra people in both guilds to troll the ruins to make sure the buffs stayed even and even that isn’t really a guarantee.

Anybody test out if points are still acquired if while you are mid-stomp, the enemy happens to be auto-attacked to death? I’ve had that happen to me quite often (because stopping to stomp 1 downed guy in a 2v5 battle isn’t realistic).

Zergs that come in the middle will likely lose half their people to the skirmishing roamers (people squirreling off to chase a few people and possibly getting stomped). It’ll be interesting to see how my guild does tonight roaming.

You got me there. I would be disqualified from being a server loyalist. However my friends did talk me into transferring back. And I <3 them for it.

The presence of IoM on ET has vastly improved the WvW. Many of the people who once left ET are returning for the strong community. Myself included.

Holy server transfers Batman! Everybody is moving all over the place.

No one wants bandwagoners but there isn’t really a way to prevent them from coming.

IoJ is a strong contender since you guys have oceanic coverage. It’s fun to watch the flurry of activity going on in all the other servers.

SBI got overstacked. THE EPIC BATTLE for #13 CONTINUES ON. I wonder if either YB, BP or KN will also get overstacked.

Points are an indicator of coverage. ET does well when people are playing.

I don’t pay attention to colors on the map very much. It wouldn’t surprise me that HoD is choosing to attack ET (most likely) because they consider us weaker. I know Mend mentioned camping ET in some post earlier.

I ran into Jeknar while roaming and we partied up. It was really fun! Everybody saw his uplevel and would target him immediately. We would rez him aso he could be focused and the rest of us could run amok freely.

Do you understand this match up at all? There is no point in even WvW’ing against your server with anything less than 5. Your server has 0 roaming guilds they all zerg with 20+ running from objective to objective.

If you really want a fair fight I’m pretty sure it’s been posted who to message to set something up. Feel free to take advantage of that.

ps- it sounds like your “group” was trying to zerg someone 3v1 and failed.

Name me one small man roaming team that doesnt Xv1 hmmm? you cant. Sometimes i even say to let me just take a solo roamer, thats a heck of a lot more than the rest of the teams i run into. Also wheres the props for roaming as two necros? when did you ever see any roaming guild run full necros?

Yes, I went on a T1 vacation for 2 months and got tired of zerging. I went back to ET for the a better roaming scene (and no more skill lag).

If you want other roaming groups to play with, ET, FC, NSP (possibly DR but a lot of people recently transferred so I don’t know if they are still there). If you want to try to fight against other small groups, you could transfer to one of the other servers.

SF and IoJ seem like big balls of red in recent matches. They are fun to farm though. HoD used to have some small man groups but I heard they all quit the game.

LOL. If there had to be a server merge, I like the idea of FC + ET. However, may I point out that ET currently has a higher rating so perhaps FC should transfer to ET.

PS: I miss you guys. I transferred back to ET and missed fighting FC just the week prior. What will I do without my FC fix?

When I was on JQ, DB would have all their guild groups running together on a map. It’d be two or three groups of 30 organized guild groups to fight. FA runs smaller groups. I’d run into group of 10 ramming a gate.

I had a terrible time roaming on T1. I went mainly to zerg so it wasn’t a problem in that sense. I’d spend half my WvW time avoiding the zerg. I prefer lower tiers because I can head toward the orange swords (instead of away).

I, for one, would like to thank SF for bringing their massive PvE population into WvW. They have been a rich source of lootbags and go down in one or two hits. Not to mention they don’t know the map at all and therefore are easy to chase down.

Please continue to be the overpopulated^1 server we all love to hate.

^1 Overpopulated relatively for T8 the tier of dead/dying WvW servers.

Am I reading this wrong or does Ofthedivine play 18 hours per day? If that is true, you could go to a mid tier EU or NA server and find people to play with. I will withhold recommendations until I find out if there is a typo somewhere.

I believe they are on Ferguson’s Crossing.

If those are the only two choices, SBI is the better idea. GoM seems to be going downhill.

What is the point of farming wxp and karma? Karma is easy to get anyway, and what do you spend wxp on? Its so easy to get as to not mater at all. You can get more from orr or champ farm in frostg and such as it is. Just not sure I understand people farming karma/wxp in wvw. Don’t you actually want to have fights and I don’t know, fun?

Fights are more fun. PvD and PPT is not so fun.

I recommend taking a tour of different servers. I also transferred out of ET for the same reasons you are listing. I didn’t find what I was looking for on other servers and eventually came back home to ET. It was nice to vacation and I learned a lot during my transfers. There’s a lot to be said to experiencing different types of WvW.

My experience is that a good guild is key to having a good experience on any server. I can come in last place as long as I have good friends to play with. It may be a better idea to find a good guild and transfer to their server.

In any case, I wish you the best of luck. (Also I think SBI is going to be first on the silver league so that is something to be considered.)

Also JQ is the best PvE server. I tried TC too but JQ is better. :P

This is also a super fun way to farm people too. Typically we cap the tower and wait for the other side to break down the walls and fight them as they stream in. Depends what you want to farm that day.
