I have no issue with him… he’s a bit of a wierdo, but that’s fine by me.

Just wish the last part of the story quest was able to be done solo….

There are so many annoying things in PvE.

Like you mentioned, the chain cc is ridiculous.

Also the poison ivy / vines that grow out of the ground and kill you – don’t know who at A-Net thought that would be fun.

Another thing that bugs me is mobility… i find it really difficult running away or catching up to people, even when using both the war horn speed spell (locusts) and Spectral Walk (swapping between the two)… every other class (except Guardian) seems to able to dash away with some spell or invulnerability or bloody permanent invisibility with a god kitten short bow teleport (seriously what where they thinking?) or whatever in these situations. Really struggle in this area…

I’m fine with the class being high DPS, but they should not have perma-stealth and should not be able to escape out of any situation with the shortbow port. Thieves just seem to vanish after attacking you never to be seen again – i know there is a rendering bug, but it is getting ridiculous.

It’s at the point where people don’t even bother chasing them any more because there is no way to catch them after they attack.

You guys are really optimistic, believing a-net will fix the mesmer back to the state of before 15th of Nov. For those believers, good luck. If there is a problem with putting the delay under 0.25sec, then why does the mariner skills still works properly without delay?

They had time enough to fix the ibezerker bug but it´s still unsolved, leaving the class with the Dez 3th patch more broken than it ever was. The answers given by JP only shows up how unaware of the mesmer a-net must be when he asks us in a statement, how big the damage output of ibezerker was before the patch in Nov? No documentation made?

The argument that the delay shall give opponents the chance to react is ridiculous, cause the damage of the ibezerker was never so high to be a problem with. On the other hand, when ibezerker is so powerful, then why 100blades or heartseeker has no delay implemented? It makes much more damage and works instantly. Is the fact that LoS or being blinded not enough to avoid the damage, now my phantasm must first knocks on the door, here i am? Dodge now! Mesmers must be really a pain in the a** for a-net dealing the class this way.

Oh yeah, but i´m a great supporter and shattercat. First LoS, then decreasing dmg of ibezerker and now delay of phantasms, whats next? But i have my ultimate solution of that problem found. I´m out.

Yeah, good luck. The Necromancer minions have been broken since launch. I’m finding the delay a little annoying on my Mesmer, but at least it attacks the target unlike the Necromancer Flesh Golem who just stands there like a cheerleader.

It’s plainly clear that they are ignoring all the threads about broken minions and other issues…

Every time i’ve e-mailed them they tell me to post it on the forum… there are already hundreds of posts stating the exact same issues i’m trying to report.

1. Mobility… it’s incredibly hard to catch players running away from you and next to impossible to get away from someone unless you have a large headstart.

2. Minions – they are rubbish and they don’t work.

3. Condition Damage – this wouldn’t be an issue if there was a viable power/burst build, but there really isn’t unless you want to go face to face with warriors/theives with your dagger spec.

I’ve now rolled a Mesmer to 80… the difference in ability to kill and utility is astounding. About the only thing that i miss on the Necro is the heal that consumes conditions – that is a keeper.

I doubt the devs are even aware of the issue judging from the response on the Jagged Horrors thread;

Levelling up a new alt i find myself soloing low-level events most of the time…. kind of weird. When i was levelling my main it used to be great fun with a bunch of people pitching in to drive back bandits or whatever…

Yeah, i noticed that the Windmill event never spawns when i’m playing my alts in Queensdale…. when i was levelling my main it was up every time i ran past.
