You just have to earn 500k exp without dying. If you die it resets the count. I believe this is still bugged so if you log out or change zones it resets as well. It’s best to just forget about it. You will randomly get it one day when you’re crafting or farming events in CS or something.

You can get 100% without finishing the story. Anet recently added the ability to see zone completion when you hover over the name of the zone on the map. Go through again and double check not just for 100% but that you actually have x/x pois since I’ve heard that the percentage can possibly round strangely (not seen it myself). Make sure you fully explore the chantry of secrets. I’ve heard that going in from both entrances can sometimes help.

I thought I read somewhere while the game was in development that some armors could have up to 5 dye channels. I’d have to go back to their blog posts to check. I’ve never seen more than 3 on anything and as you say, many only have 2 or 1. Too bad really, makes them seem less detailed.

4 is common enough. I’ve never seen 5 though.

If you log in and see a single person not repping your guild, you are seeing the problem of a multi guild system.

I don’t see this as a problem. If you do you can always start your own guild and require 100% rep time to stay in.

I suggested this like a month ago so I will lend my support here too.

Gather all the nodes you see. Salvage white items. Save money by getting item upgrades from karma vendors rather than the tp. Don’t pick up a craft, sell all your crafting materials instead. Lots of low lvl blue items are selling for over a silver now so check the tp before vendoring them.

yea the weapons will have the same stats as the armor at that level. Try looking for stuff like 39-41 to get a wider range of distributions. Also I wouldn’t recommend buying rares off the tp at this level. Blues or greens will last you like 10 levels and are much more affordable for new people on a budget.

No. 40 isn’t special other than a new tier of traits being available. Just keep buying cheap gear from the tp or heart vendors until you get to 80 and then start splashing out.

This is intended behavior. Whining probably isn’t going to change it so you have two choices:
1) go back to your original server where all your upgrades and influence should safely be stored.
2) stay and grind out your stuff again.

Use transmutation stones to keep the skin on your current weapons as you level.

Yea I got 50 stuffing out of a present. Don’t remember what size. Only had the one drop so far so it seems rare.

Not sure about glue but I’ve received stuffing from a present so tixx isn’t the only source.

Imagine we don’t have the current system. Those people in your guild who never rep would simply not be in your guild. What’s the difference unless you are bumping up against a cap? You can’t talk to them in /g in either case.

Also, my guild is awesome. It’s not the game’s fault if yours sucks.

You can only make 2 so you’re going to have 3 frames sitting around useless. Stuffing and glue can be purchased from the TP for cheap.

It usually takes more than one try in the mystic forge before it’ll give you the endless tonic, there’s RNG in it, but the chance that youll get it is pretty high. Good luck!

So how do you get more frames for the second+ try?

You got (very) lucky with 3 pets.

You do know that reviving npcs counts for that title, right? I’ve found the charr areas generally have lots of stuff to revive.

Sometimes the meta event chains will give you info on where stuff is happening. Otherwise no, not really. Contested waypoints can be an indicator of nearby events. Eventually you start to learn where events spawn and can seek them out a bit easier.

If you’re having trouble try pulling a nearby mob or npc into the fight. A little distraction goes a long way.
