You are aware you can select one of your attacks and allow it to auto-attack? It’s not limited to your guns, shield or rifle.
Obviously someone who has never played an engi.
be careful that you don’t trip over your kitten after posting this.
They are fun but basically anything you can do in a dungeon another class can do better with more damage.
If your “wvw reputation” matters to you please stay on sos.
I hate filling my pack with 12 different tools so I have the right ones for each zone
Then don’t do that. Carry ori and mithril tools. If you really feel the need then carry a set of iron or steel for low lvl stuff. 6 inventory slots at most.
looks like celestial. It tends to glow under certain lighting effects. I’m guessing the sword is doing it.
go here and read the last couple comments. Should answer your question.
Maguuma is the worst. You would probably hate it.
All influence and upgrades are server specific. If you change servers you will have to grind all that stuff over again. If you go back to your previous server all your stuff should still be there.
dungeons or fractals………………………………………………………………………..
what level are you?
I think my gear is actually kinda sucky, still got some bits that are level 46-50 which is pretty horrific, I just haven’t come across any replacements yet unfortunately.
That is seriously awful. Buy lvl 80 blues off the TP.
Their answer will be to nerf the drops of those elementals.
So, from “warriors only” we’re now at war/gua/ele?
I just want to see one of these videos featuring an engi.
I think the only thing you actually need is the gw2.dat file. Save that and you’re good.
Make dodge break the rez action.
That is all.
Player to player trading has not been added. It’s still only trading post and mail.
There is a stuck thread at the top of this forum with lots of tips for new people.
The one thing I would not say about engi is that it’s boring. Ineffective and gimmicky, sure but they are a lot of fun even if relatively useless.
Scope is bugged and doesn’t work, just fyi.
I can’t speak of other classes as I don’t play other classes(other than my 80 ranger) much. But I know I never feel “weak” on my engineer. I’ve never felt weak in questing, dungeons or PvP on my engineer.
Engi was my first 80 and I didn’t feel really weak either. Then I leveled a warrior to 80.
You can have one food buff. You can also have one of the other buffs that are provided by stuff like maintenance oils. Then you can get other stuff like Skale Venom too since it doesn’t take either slot.
For argument’s sake, I will say that they give you a +70 precision boost. If they’re going to nerf anything, they should remove the boost, so you’re only getting those procs if you “deserve” it.
That’s like 3% crit chance. Really not a big deal.
You can always go to the mine in the charr area (Diessa Plateau I believe) and play whack-a-mole with the big hammer he gives you (yes I’m serious, and yes it is as gratifying as you might imagine). Knocking the dogkitten out of those rat faced dirt munchers never gets old.
I was going to post this. That is an enjoyable heart.
1) endurance is your dodging fuel. It’s the yellow curved bar on top of your health globe.
2) yes
3) just that one character. The title you get can be used on all your characters though.
The last combo field down takes priority.
If you can’t find a heart look for a scout icon on your map.
I don’t think you can unless the skill comes with a dismiss type function (like you can blow up some of your pets).
I would be really impressed if you could duo ac story at 31. Just join a group and let them know you’re new. No one will hold it against you if you die a few times.
I’m not really playing asura anymore for exactly this reason. The endgame is cosmetic gear but asura are so small it’s almost impossible for anyone else to see what you’re wearing.
I assume you swam around down where the orrian things spawns? Have you tried leaving and coming back? It’s a short easy mission iirc.
1) you didn’t specify what variety of sylvari t3 (heavy, medium light)
2) Not knowing the real answer I would just guess yes since everything seems to clip through everything else.
So if you move to another server you will still see and be able to talk to your guild mates on the old server like normal. Any influence they earn while still on the old server will count towards that total (on the old server) and any influence you earn on the new server will count towards the new total. If one of you goes to a third server you would start earning influence there too. The number of people on old/new server doesn’t matter.
“I’m on most of the day, all night.”
Not healthy.
I wish quaggans came with a hug option.
“but you will see for bosses like gigantic lupicus and the dredge fractal, THEY WILL USE RANGED”
You don’t take your upgrades or saved influence with you when you change servers. You have to grind it all out again.
It’s one of the varieties of these http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Prototype_Fractal_Capacitor
Not sure if it’s the ascended or infused one.
This is the way it was supposed to be from launch. Glad it’s finally happening.
This is really easy to get at 80 by just farming events in CS for a couple hours. Not playing because of it is beyond ridiculous.

“After I bought my 35 rare gear”
This was a bad idea unless you really like the skin and are planning on transmuting it for a long time. Otherwise plain blue or green gear is perfectly fine for leveling. If this is your first character I would probably advise against it even if you like the skin since it’s really expensive and you need to buy trait books still.
Tell him to go buy some scratch tickets.
Dying in pve is embarrassing. I’d rather spend the silver and save a bit of dignity tbh.
What I normally do is buy the colors I know I will want and then use unid dyes on the characters that find them. I have purchased celestial for 2 characters now though so I feel your pain on this.
Sometimes the signet of rage animation will get stuck and that blurry line effect will just stay while you run around. I’m assuming that’s it. If you swing your weapon or use a skill it should go away.
Button mashing implies a certain random and thoughtlessness. If you are playing your ele like that I can see why you might not like it.
Use gw2lfg.com if you are having trouble with shouting in LA. I assure it’s much more difficult to find a random high level (40+) group than a lvl 1 group.
“Trying to get into fractals at level 1 is impossible.”
Not even close to true.
“If you’re not scaled down you get no experience or loot from enemies outside your level range.”
Yes lets make finding people in low level zones an even more rare phenomenon.
