press “o” ingame. In the top left corner of the window is a box that tells you how many gems you have currently. Right under that is a button that says “buy gems”

guardian is probably the best at this with certain builds. Even then though you won’t be able to facetank stuff like you can in other games.

Token systems are infinitely superior to RNG boss drops. It would be kind of cool to have a shot at unique boss skins on top of the current tokens I suppose but I normally don’t feel unrewarded at the end of a dungeon in any sense.

Send them a mail so you don’t need cross your fingers that your play times align.

More people around for events means more mobs spawn means more loot.

if you have two 30% chance on crit sigils then you will have a roughly 50% chance of the effect proccing off each crit. They will both share the same cooldown however.

Joining a lvl 8 fractal and then saying you’ve never been in them before will get you kicked more often than not I imagine. Start with 1 or 2 and then work up.

All of the starting zones have lots of events that fire off regularly. Orr also has lots of them. Some of the middle zones seem fairly barren at times, especially if you aren’t familiar with them and where to look.

Yea fractals act the same way. When one of your group members walk in you will get a popup asking you to join.

You need to go to the zone where the dungeon is located. So if you are doing AC get yourself to Plains of Ashford. If your party is already inside you will get a popup asking if you want to join them. Otherwise you can go inside first and they will join you when they get there.

I don’t think it is because refreshing gw2lfg shows that party is still looking.

People will often forget (or not care) to go back and delete their listings when the group fills up.

I feel like “experienced only” is the biggest red flag in a lfg listing.

I don’t think you can change the linking function at all.

Stopping the clicking will solve your problem and probably make you better at the same time though.

1) find a dredge (or other) cannon and go to town. Really easy way to get dodges since they fire at a very predictable rate. other ground aoes like fire and traps are also good.
2) how you can play at anything other than max zoom boggles my mind.

4 is too many because then if someone has a friend you can’t kick them. 3 is the number.

Griefing people by kicking them at the end of a run (at maw in this case) so you can bring in a guildy is not following the rules. Go ask Hrouda how he feels about this.

Report the people who do this. Hopefully anet will take action on those who display a pattern of such behavior. Other than that though there isn’t a whole lot they can do besides requiring a three person vote to kick (which they absolutely should do). You can’t just not allow the group to kick someone while inside the maw level or whatever.

Ele and mes are both solid choices that have very different play styles. Try them both out to like 20-30 and see which you like more. Ele will likely be more difficult to get the hang of at first.

You can level anywhere you like. If you are in zones where you are heavily downscaled it will just take you a little longer to level than otherwise.
