Crazy idea:

Could a person start their own guild ( I don’t know what it takes to do this, maybe costs $), invite the potential WTS partner to the guild, put the item for sale in the guild bank, give the trader permission to deposit items but not withdraw, have them deposit their payment, you remove the payment, then give them access to withdraw the item you are selling them, then kick them from your “guild?” I know this sounds silly, but isn’t it a more secure possibility?

BTW, I don’t know what the costs are for starting a guild or having a guild bank, etc. but for a serious WTS trader, wouldn’t it be worth the cost to have a Perma-secure trading hub for yourself?

How does this prevent the guild leader from just taking the funds after the other guy deposits them?

Why do you care that these orders exist?

I think you failed to point out why repair costs in wvw are such a problem, what they have to do with zergs and why your suggestion will fix that problem.

You are comparing the least mobile class to one of the most mobile classes. You will never be able to keep up with a thief who wants to outrun you on a mes. You are not dead weight though. Portal is one of the most valuable skills in the game. Feedback is amazing. Time warp, mass invis, pulling people with curtain… you are worth more than 5 thieves tbh.

If you have fun playing the mes don’t worry about keeping up with your friend. He should worry about sticking with you and having your back.

You can’t undo a transmutation. And yes you can transmute dungeon armor if you’d like.

How strange. Instead of just letting the group kick the afker without wasting their time you would rather they report him, wasting more resources for you guys? What is so hard about not booting everyone from the instance if the first guy in leaves?

Staff is a solid tagging option. auto attack is quick and covers a nice area.

I find that guardian is easier to play well than engi.

You don’t get mail for event rewards, just heart rewards.

You get experience as you gain crafting levels which totals to around 10 levels. You don’t get another 10 levels once you hit 400.

Well they have to be somewhere. Make a list of every zone and check them off one by one after you visit and confirm they are complete.

You realize you can stack them all in your bank? No need to carry them around on each character.

The trickiest areas are the wvw maps and orr. Wvw obviously because your server might never capture stonemist or whatever. Orr because some skill points are guarded by champions that people rarely touch. Everything else is straightforward and relatively easy. Don’t forget to explore the chantry of secrets.

The clone on dodge trait is a game changer.

You should be thankful. At launch map chat in every zone was like really bad barrens chat. Now it’s mostly confined to LA.

Twilight is better than Sunrise so Eternity is a big fat waste imo. Give me a Quip video any day.

Once you figure out how the mesmer works it’s easier to play than ele. Lvl 40 is the turning point for mes when you can get the clone on dodge trait. It opens up lots of options in combat.

They simply will not provide this info. Those of us who play this game know how nearly dead it has become. The last two days it has been FRIGHTNENINGLY dead.

I am not talking about the small groups spamming for Fractals in LA, I am talking about EVERY OTHER MAP. Dead. On one of the Always FULL servers.

I was in Harathi last night on an alt and had a nice big group of random people for all of the meta events. Stay away from the crappy maps like Dredgehaunt and the population generally isn’t terrible.

Crappy guilds consisting of 10 random people are failing, sure. That’s to be expected. Now, I am a goon so this problem doesn’t apply to me (we take the initiative and destroy ourselves rather than waiting for the game systems to do it) but there are plenty of active pubby guilds on my server that I see running around all the time. Your expectations can only be so high when joining a guild that recruits from LA map chat though.

I can alt-f4 in like a quarter of a second. How much dps would you need to bring to kill someone that fast?

I have never noticed this and I tend to get booted for inactivity fairly often.

never had this problem. Either it’s a bug or you’re doing it wrong.

It’s the identification letters you see in square brackets.

If you just follow the primary quest chain after making a new prophecies character you will get there.

They aren’t stacks of kits/tools. They are one kit/tool with a visible durability number so you know when it will break. You can’t stack two damaged rifles together either.

How many points are you going for? With just proph/eotn getting to 30 would be rough.

When facing a veteran for a skill point, I tend to end up dying using a Greatsword. When using a Rifle, I kite it and kill it no problem with hardly any health gone.

BTW. I’m only level 36, so things may certainly change at higher levels.

I started a Sylvari Mesmer, and the Sylvari opening storyline is epic!

You’re doing something wrong with your warrior.

Lower level pve is generally less than dangerous. Even if you die it’s like a 20 second walk back from a WP. Unless you are dying constantly (shouldn’t be even as 100% glass) the extra kill speed seems better to me.

My main is an engi. I’m saying that no one in their right mind is using their swap slots as extra inventory space. Eles and engies are not hurt because we don’t have two extra inventory slots.

Go glass or go home.

I would probably go with a GS + whatever (dual axe maybe) warrior.
