All devs are terrible players. Some of them “mastered” healing signet warriors and shout guardians enough to not to die every minute. And there is no one dev who plays thief regularly.

In first 2 weeks of doing fractals i got 5-6 skins. It’s been a month+ now and i got like 9 in total. And drop rate fell down recently. The problem is that i only need one specific skin and i can’t get it.
i forgot about trident that i salvaged, lol.

I Hate dredges, i hate dredge fractal, it’s terrible, it’s bugged, it sucks. I’d fire whoever designed it. That person has no place in the game industry. I like last boss though.

CnD is pretty unreliable and pretty costy hence why d/d is barely ever used in pvp.

Suggestion: if CnD fails,
- return half of the costs
or
- return all costs but put CnD on short CD

basically kind of like warrior spells work.

Maybe also reduce CnD dmg but if the attack hits it provides a buff (for example aegis or stability or small heal or 1 condi removed etc.) for 1 sec.

upd: replaced gtx 760 with 7950. Everything is perfect now. Temp went down from 80 to 65.

I’ve purchased gtx 760 a few weeks ago and had the same problem — game suddenly started to lag, sound stuttered and pc got frozen. It happened like 1-2 times per day. I run few stress tests like ooct, furmark. Could reproduce pc freeze once in occt gpu memory test and then i tried to roll back to 314 nvidia driver. It happened 2 days ago and no freezes thus far.

What if my house is on fire? You can’t blame me for that!

Not a surprise in almost ALL, the Thief was the easiest or the second easiest to kill…

Dredge fractal sucks, because dredges sucks. It’s a fail gamedesign. They make my thief almost useless — blind immune, dazes, knockbacks, protection boons, unreflectable ranged attacks. So kittening great.

Never did I say d/p wasn’t cheese as well. I welcome the fall of that particular perma-stealth playstyle.

This thread is about s/x and the nerfs that seem to always be directed at it.

s/d is a lot more overpowered than the perma stealth cheese ever was. Perma stealth is extremely annoying troll / 1vX build for WvW, but s/d is one of the main reasons why elementalist and mesmer almost completly dropped out of competitive tpvp meta.

Well i hope to see more eles again. Arena should have nerfed s/d long time ago because it’s simply not fair to make one weapon set THAT powerful.

I don’t mind a DD rebirth. I actually liked its feel more and it felt more rewarding to me to win with that set. Esp when fighting very tanky classes. And how is DD cheese but not DP? DP can stealth, whenever it wants, gap close, interrupt, blind. All DD can do is gap close, stealth off of targets, cripple, and evade while giving bleeding, which is rarely used for a stealth build, as is dancing dagger so that makes it 3 of the 5 that are used, so DD belittles itself while DP does all DD can and more.

I don’t want to see more useless d/d thieves. D/d is broken, 2 of it’s skills are absolutely useless. D/p is simply better in every aspect.

Stop whining and learn to adopt to new changes. IS is op and encourages brainless gamestyle.

I like Infusion of Shadow nerf and i also understand infiltrator’s strike nerf. It’s really deserved. Don’t listen to those whiners, ppl just can’t accept that they won’t be able to spam IS brainlessly anymore. Vigor nerf is a good one too. But opportunist nerf is really bad. You practically nullified effect of initiative rate buff with that change.

I like those changes. IS was op, it needed nerf.

Those abilities aren’t tied to an unblockable boonsteal and also not on the same weapon as a 0 second cooldown shadowstep.

It needs to be nerfed. The game is getting bad enough with all these abilities requiring 0 skill to use. This needs to go.

All of this damage was done in the span of about two to three seconds. I was dead before I even had a chance to react. This is running full Toughness/Vitality exotics with ascended trinkets.

Explain to me why this is allowed. And before you launch into the usual “glass cannon” blanket justification, any DP/shortbow thief worth their weight in salt is pretty much impossible to catch with the stealth spam even in full Berserker’s… so that’s a moot point.

Leeching venoms adds over 2k damage onto your unload skill as well as a 2k heal (from spider venom, less from the other two).

Basically you buff your teammates giving them longlasting might stacks and venom procs while dealing large amounts of damage from range with unload for single targets and clusterbomb for team fights. Try to stay out of the middle of the fight except to share your venoms.
