I disagree here. Different classes are, well, different. Just because you managed Level 746 on a Guardian doesn’t mean you could do it on a Mesmer.
You do realise that “wasting” 40 Silver to switch between maxed profession is kind of the point? It’s a Gold Sink.

Other than Guardian of course, what class is best for FotM do you guys think? I got two spare ascended rings and have to decide which of my characters to give them to.
We can upgrade backpacks to infused, why not rings too?
Now that they fixed the boss, my party and I are having a hard time with this fractal. We can’t get past the 2nd stage where he spams a big flash of light every 5 seconds and downs the party in one hit.
What exactly are you supposed to do here?

Interesting. It looks like the Trait “Electric Discharge” is the cause of this. It causes you to attack your target when attuning to Air if you have it slotted. It still fires off the Auto-Attack functionality because Air Attunement is still being considered as a skill that attacks a target (regardless of actually attacking or not).
I’ll take a look at this tomorrow and see what I can come up with. Sorry that nobody has responded to this bug sooner!

We know software can never be bug free, but I think we can reasonably expect a bug fix patch to not break several things it was intended to fix or break multiple unrelated things.
As stated, there are bugs that have existed since BETA that have not been fixed yet. Yet they still insist on heaping on more and more buggy content and ignoring bugs that make certain parts of the game LITERATELY IMPOSSIBLE TO COMPLETE.
I’m not willing to let this die.
Aside from the pretty snide Mod actions (which are neither here nor there), it is clear from this thread and others that the majority of the player base is sick and tired of ANet half arsing things.
As someone who can happily adapt to bugs until they’re fixed, rather than stopping everything to declare the entire game broken and worthless the instant I so much as hear about a newly-introduced issue, I wholeheartedly support the constant and continual addition of new content.

Yeah, they did. However the Patch broke more than it fixed.
Problem: Patches are not being tested.
Solution: Test your Patches.
Sorry, but the last set of patches have really destroyed my good faith in ANet. I came into GW2 as a fresh player, never having played GW1. The way ANet has been acting, I am glad I didn’t.
I’m sorry, but this is unacceptable. We should not have to use a workaround. You should actually test your stuff before releasing it.
We want the content that is already here fixed and working as intended.
I know that the need for Gem Store sales and to try and to convince more people into spending $60 for a broken game is important too, but unless you want to suffer huge levels of bad publicity, you need to just throw your arms up, admit you kittened up and get to fixing everything FIRST.
And if they had any brains they would completely scrap that until they fix their kitten. But it seems Money is more important to them so we won’t get fixes.

If so, i think you need a new QA Team, one that actually does their job.
What I want to know is how they have the nerve to ask us to bug test their game when they should have it fixed in the first place.
And even then, they didn’t fix exploits. Lots of exploits still in the Ascalon map and they made Cliffside literately impossible to complete.
They stealth fixed the Ettin champion.

I cannot think of any other game that doesn’t give patch notes right when they release a patch. Heck, games like Eve Online give the patch notes BEFORE the patch comes out.
Can we please have this? It’s frustrating to not know what has been fixed and updated for hours after the patch.
So, I have two ascended rings atm. One of them has the stats I want, the other doesn’t. When I eventually get a second ring with the correct stats, is there anything I can do with the now soulbound unused ring? Or do I have to simple vendor trash it for 5 silver?
So, i finally beat Fractals 10 and got an acended ring. However it has an offensive slot.
The only ones I’ve found that fit in it will either cost me 20 gold to make or over 200 tokens. Is there any cheaper ones to be found for offensive infusion slots?

In the main hand, it seems that Scepter skills do a lot more damage and have 3 times the range. I honestly am trying to understand.

My friend has a laptop with a i3 370m with the integrated HD Graphics. We know of course it wont run at ULTRAMAX but will it run acceptably at all?
With the huge rise of F2P MMOs, perhaps ANet should consider allowing people to demo the game. First 10 levels should be enough for people to get a feel of the game, no?
It would also let people test if their PCs can run the game without gambling 60 dollars (since you can’t transfer accounts, legally anyway).
I just want Twilight to have a sparkle effect.

Lots of buttons on a mouse don’t make up for the fact you can’t run and manipulate the camera at the same time as using a ground targeting skill.

As an option, maybe, why not. It’ll let the little zerglins who just know how to mash 1-5 start using staffs more, I guess.
I’ll just go tell my friend who lost his hand in a traffic accident he can’t go play 50% of the class / weapon combos in the game because you say he is a “Little zeglin”.
All I am asking for is a bloody option to fix an annoying UI element that will also help disabled gamers as a side effect. No-one will force you to use it.
