This thread is the total opposite of that thread. That thread wants to legitimize the exploit, this one wants to fix it.

I am on my third character and rarely if ever go near Arah.

Waypoint costs are there for a reason. They act as a money sink and encourage exploration. Bypassing all of that IS an exploit whether you agree with it or not.

Seriously, waypoint costs are not high at all. If you have serious trouble paying for waypoints you are doing it wrong.

What about lightning’s stun field, where I am usually aiming to hit a group at a certain location?

What about when I want to drop firefield at my feet so people can use finisher’s on it to get AoE might but at a long range?

What about in WvW where I will often cast meteorshower in a central location to scare/kill people on a wall?

What about when I cast AoE fields at more then one foe? EX: Lavafont on a boss and meteor shower on many weak foes?

As I have said multiple times:
1) This would be an OPTION
2) Using this option would allow you to right click on a skill to bring up the old ground target method.

And again, 99% of the time you are centering it on an enemy to begin with, so why add an extra level of unnecessary busywork?

Make it so you have to spend at least 10 mins in the Hearts or WvW to use the LA Gate.

Free travel to LA is nothing short of an Exploit in my eyes, otherwise they would have made it free to waypoint there to begin with.

Exactly. All other skills you can manipulate the camera and use them at the same time. All other skills you can run about and use at the same time.

Ground Targeting skills force you to stand still and not move the camera to do something you’ll do 99% of the time anyway. How often do you really not just hit someone directly with them? And thats why you could make Right Click do the target formation for those issues.

Not only will it help people who find this frustrating, I can imagine it would make 50% of the game playable to people with limited hand movement or only one hand or other disabilities.

The fact that I have to manually move and click AoE effects is a bit of a gamebreaker for me. I actively do not use Staffs or Longbows because of this. Elementalists also are a no-go for me.

I know I could use fastcast, but then it means I can’t choose to click on the skill anymore.
I know I could press the button, but I am mainly a clicky kind of player.
These skills also mess up camera control in my experience.

Why not let us have the option of enabling it to autocast ground spells at our current target? Even add it so you can right click a skill to force it to ground target so we can choose.

I’ve always hated that about Americans in general. They feel entitled to not have patches on THEIR peak time and sod the rest of us.

And if you had done the slightest bit of research, you’d know you just have to lower the sound quality by 1.

The Bees in TA for example. There is no reason for them to not have a waypoint before it. It’s just needlessly frustrating.

As it stands, AC and TA are by far the most frustrating dungeons because of the massive de-level.

They could use a small tweak downward, dontchathink?

Also, TA needs more waypoints, especially one before the Bees. CoF has one at the similar puzzle so why not TA?

Also, TA’s flowers need to be nerfed. At least let scepters one shot them kitten

One of these things is not like the other.

You have to remember that the Flame Legion are outcasts. They have very little in the way of being able to be self sufficient. They need to raid and steal other peoples equipment.

Charr, from what I see, tend to focus on the Practical Classes.

Blood Legion > Warriors
Ash Legion > Thief
Iron Legion > Engineer

Flame Legion are the exception (one of the reasons they are outcasts) and tend towards Elementalists.

I would also like a Native (i.e. not a poorly done pre-wine wrapped launcher like SOME OTHER companies do) linux client.

Ok, so we all know that doing a dungeon path gives 60>20>10>5 tokens, fair enough.

How long do you need to wait before a path goes back to 20 tokens for the run? All day? An hour?

It doesn’t happen everywhere, only in certain places, mostly in caves.

It happens in Ascalon Catacombs a lot too.

This happens regardless of Catalyst Anti-Aliasing settings (Disabled, Override, Enhance).

So, down to brass tacks.

AMD 7850, latest drivers yadda yadda.

When I load an area while in real fullscreen, the screen always flickers black two or 3 times while doing so. During gameplay it’s fine though.

When the game is in Windowed fullscreen mode, this does not happen.

This happens regardless of the AA settings in the Catalyst Control center or in game.

Any ideas what’s causing it?

There is obviously a reason why it’s not done. If you don’t like it, play a different game.

So? Things change. By your logic they should go back to the seed based dye system because it was in beta.

There already is. You just have to press F.

If it bothers you so much, just make an AHK Script to spam the F Key on a button press.

I don’t agree with this. Dyes are character bound for as reason. We may not like it (I actually don’t mind but some do it seems), but it’s here to stay.

Just a simple one, It would be nice to have an option that, when you roll over the icon on the left hand side, it highlights your revealed PoI markers and similar on your current map. It’s fiddly to notice, especially when zoomed out, where a missed heart might be.

Time zones are a kitten. That’s all there is to say about that.

For example, I am a UK player who plays on a server located in the USA. For me, dailies reset at 1am, and probably will change when the clocks go back/forward/upside down. Twice now I’ve been caught out on my dailies by them resetting. xD

It would be really helpful and convenient to have a small countdown timer on the monthly and daily pages to show when they reset. That is all.
