You have waited for 2 months, and in the last event you guys showed up with style and flair. We have decided to launch your very own Engineer Focused Podcast that will be available starting Next week at sittinonacouch.com

We are still hammering out a release date, but it will come next week. Your hosts will be the one and only Amadeus and the soon to be even more popular Asteria Rose. We had a great time talking with them already, and I know they are pumped to get started.

Their first podcast I will guest on as we do an introduction to the Engineer. We will have some of your fan favorite tournament Engineers such as Teldoo, Ostrich Eggs, Tang, Steamhawke, the infamous Voz, and many more WvWvW and PVE Engineers.

The show is going to be Called Engenious.

We are excited, and as Amadeus likes to remind me. Trust me, I am an Engineer!

It’s 10 AM GMT-8 so whatever that is for your version. We don’t currently have an EU sign up going on. This is NA only for now, we are working next month towards having an EU one.

The coaches for the EU teams are being recruited ;p.

I can’t make it for 10am on Saturday. I don’t think I even get out of work that day until 11am PST.

I am so glad you got to be a part of this event. The amount of times you signed up and no one else showed up was awesome. You gave me the courage to keep asking for more thieves.

Also my input about the original lack of signups has to do with the fact that a lot of the active pvp’ers I know don’t check out the forums too often. Even though I check out the forums a lot I thought the sign up for this would be full and didn’t bother to check personally. I asked a few of my thief friends in game if they wanted to try this out and they all really wanted to but just didn’t know what to do until I explained it to them. Perhaps the coaches (since they’re going to be experienced and on the ladder) could help recruit players in future events. I’m not saying they should load teams with r40+ but just get more players who are active in the tourney scene.

We are actually going to do both next month.

We will have recruited teams with a coach, and amateur sign-ups. This will give it a new flavor. It will also be EU and NA

For those who were disappointed with the performance, There were several teams that felt they weren’t represented as well as they wanted to be. However, that’s okay.

Remember this was our first attempt and trial run. Did things go poorly for the Necromancers? Sure, but I trust Gibbly, and I feel he will have a better gameplan this time around. I know some of you were feeling that it was badly done.

That’s fine, this is why the event works. This reminds me of the Nugget fans reactions after the Warriors knocked them out of the playoff. We gladly appreciate everyone’s opinions and next month we are going to work hard to put on an event that’s even better.

i hope with this, more people will take note and we can get multilpe profession teams going as well – across all professions of course. givin this the attention it needs!

It’s something we will look into for the future, but for now we actually end up with players not showing up and having to bail mid game. So one team with subs is the best way to go.

Every Necromancer I knew that was watching that was embarrassed by the Necromancer performance. I was hoping we could prove that we were good. No. We lost to WARRIORS. You didn’t even fight on point once. Iris was the only one fighting on point at any one time, or rather, the only one surviving.

Fun, or not. Pay to play, or not. We’re representing our class. Guardians and Warriors certainly did.

I hate being that ‘one’ guy to point out other people’s flaws, but that was downrite awful. Failure of strategy. Failure of communication. Failure of builds. None of you even focused on any single target.

I appreciate your point of view. It’s too late to change coaches, and personally while I didn’t agree with everything he did. I thought he did a great job talking to the players, and in the consolation game letting the players go all minions for fun. He tried somethings they didn’t work. Let’s give him an opportunity before crucifying him.
