If it makes you feel any better, I had a similar experience with the maw, it was long ago I think, before targeting the jade maw was a popular thing, I’d target the jade maw and someone else would target the giants and tentacles, we kept at it for a while and I even told him that since maw is hard to target, I just like to target him once and press T, some people just drive you insane, I think we should call these people kevlar.

There should be a limit to how many letters you write in a comment, I mean, you see a thread and you like the idea and want to join the conversation, read the first wall of text, and then the 2nd one, and the 3rd one, and then you realize there is still 50 more walls of texts, it’s annoying, just get to the point people, and save everyone a lot of time.

if an ele decides to go full zerk, he will have around 12k hp, less than 2k armor, not toughness, and still not do 70% of the warrior’s damage… what are you complaining about?

Thanks for working on fix. It might get some players back to play fotm. I believe dredge map rework would get even more players back. And ticket drops instead of getting certain fractal weapon too (It should be same system as Jade weapon tickets/Fused weapons/Sclerite – you get token and trade it for weapon). Many players with like 7 torches and 5 warhorns and 0 weapons that they actually want agree IMO. But this was mentioned thousand times in other threads, so lets focus on fixing that Cliffside fractal.

I think it would be better to have a ticket formula, if we do actually get a fractal weapon ticket instead of weapons, everyone will be running around with fractal gs, also, so, we should have a way to make a fractal weapon ticket, but it shouldn’t be easy, and must include fractal related items only, maybe some skillpoints, but a certain way to get the weapon you want

1- why make a second account?
2- achievement points do make a difference in skill, but not that much difference, I think people should be judged by their gear, someone with a fractal GS and full arah set is definitely better than someone with a AC GS and cof full set, doesn’t matter the achievement points

recently, my brother was doing a random cof p1 run, he got in from the middle, he was helping some guildies, anywho, he got an exotic shield, he previewed it and thought it looked awesome,him being a warrior and it being a zerk shield made it even better, so he came to me saying “check out that awesome shield I got, I’m totally using it,” so, I came and my mind was almost blown when I saw the chosen, I was like, “erm… you just got a precursor…”

yes, but, most of the people have cof full set… and yeah, I hate people who dye their armor just black and white, I mean, be creative…

Lightning Hammer Ele hits like 15k autoattacks. GS Warrior is also pretty bad now after this latest patch.

just checked at heart of the mists section, the conjure hammer build, 15k my kitten 2k if not critical, 3k if critical, and 6k for the final attack if critical…

I like how fractal weapons are account bound, they have a certain prestige to them, making them sell-able would destroy that, I think however, that we need a fractal weapon formula, it was suggested before, maybe something like, 4 fractal weapons= 1 fractal ingot, 1 fractal ingot + 250 fractal relics + 20 pristine fractal reli + gift of ascension = 1 fractal weapon ticket, and you can buy any fractal weapon you want with that ticket.

anet should either nerf the hard dungeons, like arah and the dredge fractal, or increasing their reward, making the chest at the dredge fractal has a 100% chance of dropping a core and a 25% chance of a lodestone at 30+ fractal, making hard dungeons worth it

I’d like to join, did arah p3, a lot of times, and arah p4 starting from lupi, grenth was easy, simin took us 1 hour, 45 minutes of those were because of a bug, where he couldn’t get lower than 50% hp, we had to reset 3 times, at the beginning we didn’t realize it was a bug, and 4 of us were new to the dungeon, simin is overrated, anywho, I’ll add chryzo as a friend, since I need help with p1 and p2, I’m an ele btw.

I think fractals need more attention, the dredge is so kittening long, and the stupid harpies, or the godkitten bug at the grawl shaman where he doesnt show up, seriously anet, just give us something, something that can prove that you’re actually working on tweaking it, we don’t want your stupid statements, we want changes, and we want them now… your statements on fixing them are as valid as someone saying the scavenger hunt is going to happen soon….

Honestly, fractals need more attention, I noticed this as a problem, after getting the rings that I want, I now have no use for my pristine relics, maybe get some rings for other chars but that’s it, we need something to be able to buy accessories or shards/globs/vials with p relics

would be a good idea if weapons were traded for X p relics and Y relics, or 4 fractal weapons = 1 weapon ticket, or level 48 daily always has a chance of dropping a fractal weapon, whether it was daily or not, seems fair compared to how hard it is, I’m still not level 48, 28 atm, but seems pretty hard, especially dredge

I think human heavy looks pretty stupid, not a lot of people know how to look decent and it’s hard to pull of, I mean, they’re so small and the heavy armor is so huge.

I think it looks better this way, kind of guardian-ish look, it’s better to stick with the current look

Just wanted to make a few suggestions, like
1- Prioritizing conditions that you cure
I was doing arah p3, and was getting immobilized and a lot of other conditions, but my cure condition skills only cures a random condition, so they cured something like poison, but what I needed to be cured is actually immobilized, since crusher 1 hit kills everything, that was pretty frustrating

2- Seeing how much damage conditions do
A lot of people complain about how we do low damage compared to warriors, but, maybe if we see how much damage we do, that might make a difference, the only condition damage we see is bleeding, would be nice if we could see burning damage in an orange font or something, and poison damage in green font, you get the idea.

3- More pve titles
Most titles are pvp related, we only have several pve titles, hell, we should have a title suggestion thread.

yeah, downed state is pretty annoying, it should be removed in spvp, I mean, you’re fighting a ranger, barely killing him, then he gets his pet to get you to downed state, some pets do a lot of damage, anywho, after that, he uses his pet to heal him, then he kills me, I was outraged by this, and it happened more than once, maybe with mesmers and their stupid illusions

I was going to suggest that, and, maybe they should be tickets for something pretty awesome, like, 1 gift of exploration gives you 50g, or a pretty kitten weapon, not something like the story weapons, they were a complete disappointment, I also support that they should buy ascended gear, or maybe we can trade them for laurels, 1 gift of exploration = 50 laurels, that would be a motive for people to explore

I honestly think one should not get obsessed about event weapons, It happened to me for the fused weapons, which made me sell a lot of globs and spend all my money on BL chests, all I got was crap, I learned my lesson, never gamble for something.

fractals only need team coordination and good planning, unlike most of the other dungeons, as an ele, using the scepter/focus really helps at the harpies or the grawl final boss, ofcourse, I’m still at level 28 and the difficulty seems to be rapidly increasing, and besides, fractals is more fun than cof farming…
But, yeah, the dredge fractal needs nerfing, it’s longer than a lot of dungeons, and wasn’t the whole idea of fractals to be doing mini dungeons

I use weapons depending on the situations, but I use this build for mostly fractals or arah, I’m still not a high level at fractals, level 28, but, it’s been good so far, and damage is decent, you just need to get dodges at the right timing, so, what do you guys think?

Basically, they are weapons that change shape when an elementalist changes attunements, for other classes, they just change randomly every time they switch to the weapon, the recipe can be something like this
1-Elemental lodestone= (75 charged lodestones+ 75 molten lodestones+ 75 corrupted lodestones+ 75 onyx lodestones)
2- Gift of color
3- Mystic weapon (if it’s a dagger, the outcome is an elemental dagger, if it’s a GS, the outcome is an elemental GS)

I use this build for everything, even sPvP,
I like everything so far, I’m like a hybrid, I also use superior rune of the doylak and P/T/V rings, accesories, back, for amulet, it’s P/T/V for fractals, or syzgy with 20% gilded infusion.

I’m surprised eles didn’t have a sword to begin with.

I like the wings idea, and eles already have a lack of weapon skins, so wings would be kitten, but if anyone wants something close to wings, there is the arah armour shoulder thingies(yeah, thingies), they kind of look like wings, I have them on my ele, looks awesome.

I think we need high speed boosts, like 50% or something, would be very handy in wvw or doing events in orr, and as for the cosmetic mounts idea, yeah, that’d be cool

Don’t make anything epic in the next 2 months,evades tomatoes, you have to be aware the some people have exams and need to study, making amazing updates with awesome weapons and gear that need a lot of farming will make a lot of people frustrated because they can’t get the weapons because they have to study.

I don’t know how properly to express my dissatisfaction with the game structure… Its complete fail so far. Before I get bashed for that opinion let me get my point clear…

I’m GW vet and have the game for a long time. I realy like GW2, but… there is some factors in it I don’t like so much.

It dead simple… if you are in a big guild the game will be a breeze (fail)… if you are solo you will be bashed repeadedly in anything you try to do (fail again)… anything – no jumping puzzles, no dungeons, no nothing… Is it really smart to bash the players for soloing the game? This kinda narrow the game to plain grind for me (and any solo players as well for that matter) as I’m not part from big guild. I’m sorry but I’m NOT a cassual player and I don’t want to join random guilds. My friends don’t like the game so I’m alone in this. I’m pretty sure that im not the only one.

Arena net, please consider the solo players exist! As the game have scaling dificluty its not so much to expect the kitten thing to scale down for a single player.

If playing with others wasn’t your cup of tea, then you should have thought about that before buying the game…
PS: jps are as soloable as they can be

I honestly think they should work on more better looking weapons than legendaries, we don’t have an good staffs with effects, something like volcanus or infinite light, same thing can be said for daggers, not everyone has time to go for a legendary.

honestly, we need better looking daggers, other weapons have tons of combinations and weapons that look epic even if they’re not legendaries, like volcanus or infinite light, anomaly, etc…we need daggers that look awesome, jormag’s needle and tear of grenth aren’t even worth a quarter of what they cost. I don’t mind if they’re expensive or whatnot, they just have to look awesome, and only appear in daggers, so they’re not part of a set, I admit, corrupted daggers are awesome, but other daggers look really normal.

TLDR: make better looking daggers, with special effects.

If they made the mace and shield available, they’d have to make other weapons of the same set.

I don’t really see the point of making galleries for weapons, you can easily preview them, unless they’re legendaries or fractal weapons.
I spent 40g on keys and got nothing, wouldn’t mind to spend more If I got more reasonable stuff.
Does anyone know if the weapons are a permanent addition to the game, or will are they temporary, if they’re temporary, for how long?

Mostly play at cursed shore or dungeons, the build works whether you’re using a staff or a d/d, I’m not really focused on one thing, like to play as a hybrid

there are a lot of armor in this game, more than enough, it’s just everyone is using cof armor because it looks awesome and is easy to get, which is why you feel there aren’t many armors in the game, you just need to know how to mix things up.
