Anyone who says dungeons aren’t supposed to be speed cleared is lying, we, as in humans, like to do everything quickly, that applies to everything, be it games or real life, do you move at 20 mph to enjoy the view and street signs and the people on your way to work which you’ve been to hundreds of times or do you try to get there as fast as possible so you’re not late?
Dungeons are the same thing, we’ve done a lot of dungeons a lot of time, we don’t do dungeons slowly with pvt gear while marvelling at each boss and mob’s mechanics and animation which we’ve seen a lot, we just do it as fast as possible.

Why do people always forget to say whether they’re from EU or NA?

I use ruby orbs for my ele because he’s so squishy and can barely keep up 90% hp, it just takes a fart to get him to below 90%, willing to take any suggestion for my ele that is better than ruby orbs but doesn’t require >90% hp.
I use scholar runes for my warrior though.

Elementalist, thieves and mesmers can also block/reflect projectiles.

full exotic berserker probably does more damage than full ascended knight.

Depends on your build, role and whether you’re in spvp, dungeons or wvw.

Sword for eles, eles need a 130 melee weapon with better dps.

Are you from EU or NA, pretty sure there is a lot of people in this forum willing to help, /w me if you’re EU but don’t really count on me being online for a while because I have exams.

You can finish maps while looking for groups for dungeons, instead of waiting around and doing nothing you can explore, after a while you’ll have explored most of the world the rest isn’t going to be that bad.

Out of all the places to report people doing something in WvW how did the suggestion section win?

I kinda have to agree that the community would really benefit from anet closing some of accounts based on game inactivity.

something along the lines of: don’t play the game for a month and you lose access to the forums until you log in to the game again. I know it’s very easy to get around, but it would at least shut up the “I uninstalled 6 months ago but I’ll keep trolling the boards” crowd.

they’d just update the game, log in for 2 minutes, log out then post in the forum, not so smart option…. and some people leave the game because of the direction the game is going but still visit the forum to show that they might come back if anet gives what they like a little bit of attention.

You can have both if you really care that much about +5 extra power.

They’re very expensive though it’s almost not worth it, would’ve been better if they added +20 instead of +5

+1 for weapons (finally a decent staff and scepter)
-1 for armor (makes me look like a clown)

An average player is probably going to probably take 3 years to get to 300% luck, it hasn’t even been 3 months and you’re almost at the finish line, I think I read somewhere that anet is going to do something about people who get to 300% luck, but I highly doubt they’ll do anything for a year since the amount of players who’ll have 300% luck will only be a handful.
Luck will be very useless to you after you get to 300. I’d say get some stacks of the best quality luck you can craft incase anet increases the cap or makes it so that you can do something with them.

harpies isn’t that hard if you have a coordinated group, arah is also pretty easy, AC is good too and TA isn’t a problem, and SE is hard??? really?

Last boss is nice but I don’t like the fact that we have to count on AI mechanics to beat it.

I was going to hate on this thread and say that scarlet sucks but OMG you’re right, we need better villains….

Some guy in a pug party was showing us the p1 lupi skip because he was in a hurry, it was 4 warriors and my ele, there was a part where you needed a leap, so the 4 warriors just used #2 sword and it went smoothly for them, tried RTL first time and didn’t work, conjured axe leap didn’t work either, almost giving up and letting them finish the dungeon while I wait I decided to try one last time, apparently, LH #2 has it’s uses :o

You’re going to spend over 1k+ hours farming for a feature like this… really?

You can do insane dps with eles and bring ton of support without using LH and FGS, your damage will be as much as a warrior’s dps, LH and FGS just do more damage. but, at the end of it all, you’re strongest attacks will be just spamming 1 and maybe 2, lightning whip, fireball and lava, scepter 2-3-4 combination.

WvW devs post in the WvW forums, you keep seeing regular wvw updates and we know spvp devs are there because they talk to the players in the forum… you don’t see any dungeon updates, the new dungeon was made by the LS team, and no dev ever says anything in the dungeon forum, the last post we got was 3 months ago by C.J., he commented at the 38th takittencomplaint thread, CJ isn’t a dungeon developer… basically, no dungeon updates + no devs saying anything in the forum = no devs

yes, the spvp forum once made a thread because a dev didn’t post there for 8 days… all forums need as much love as the spvp forum

No it isn’t bad. But like you said, so many coordination parts. The mob hp I think is pretty acceptable. I will not be surprised if full zerk parties kill the last boss in 1 shield rotation (or even before it could setup the shield).

But infinite mob spawns mechanics are present. Hence “next-gen clown cars.”

it’s a lot like the endboss in dredge fractals except easier for zerk parties because his melee attacks are weaker.

wow OP, respawn rate is 90s, it takes you 90s to kill a mob…?

New path isn’t that bad, it’s actually nice, except it’s a nightmare with pugs, I think this new path is anet’s subtle way to tell everyone to stop pugging dungeons since the amount of coordination required is insane….

Post this in the game bug section because a dev needs to see this.

1- A legendary doesn’t show how “elite” you are, it just shows you farmed a lot or just got lucky, I know people with legendaries who didn’t even step 1 foot into arah.
2- We already have a super legendary, it’s called eternity…
3- It’s not that making a “super legendary” a bad idea, it’s just the way you said made it look bad? footsteps the size of a caravan??? really? and shaking the ground for anyone within 1500 range? the way you’re saying it I wouldn’t want to even run a dungeon with anyone who has a super legendary.

If by PvE you mean zerg farming and doing easy living story that gives tons of ap, then yes, but if you mean dungeons/fractals then definitely no.

Dungeon have been part of the dying world for a really long time, I think it’s in the “destroyed by anet” world now.

Yeah, my cousins told me to come and play tera with them and I created a sorcerer, they can’t attack while moving (they can with some skills, very few), they don’t have traits, and they only use 1 weapon, the quests are mostly kill X monster, very basic, and the combat isn’t even that fun, I got him to level 16 and quit.
