Fractal Weapons RNG were probably based on “One man’s junk is another man’s gold,” I only have 2 fractal longbows which I don’t need and rarely use, but I read somewhere that a person was farming level 48 fractals for 7 months to get the fractal longbow…

so, unchecking remember username/password doesn’t work? or does it work?

I’m having the same problem too, I’ve changed my password tons of times already, it keeps saying invalid password and I’m pretty sure it’s correct…

PVE- DPS, eles are one of the best dps classes in game.
Zerk, scholar runes/ruby orbs
traits, there are many builds, you have to be more specific of your play style.

The only valid complain here is the grind for ascended weapons, anet never said there won’t be any grind for gear, they just said there won’t be a grind for the best stat gear, which became a lie when ascended weapons came out, don’t complain about RNG in the mystic toilet or grind for cosmetic weapons, anet isn’t going to give everyone their free legendaries.

SE p2 gives as much gold as cof p1, I doubt any of the anet staff have a dungeon master title.
Also, another point
5- The rewards aren’t going to be worth it, and if they are worth it they’ll probably be farmed like mentioned in reason #3 in which case they’ll be nerfed again.

Bad idea, here is why
1- Anet doesn’t play dungeons, that was obvious when they assigned the gold rewards.
2- Skipping is allowed and some situations are actually meant to be skipped (actual dev said that, same context)
3- Some places will be farmed, when they fight to a certain place, get tons of rewards then exit the dungeon and repeat (happened in hunter and crusher in arah p3 and is happening in the 5 champions of SE p1)
4- The rewards will be messed up and will raise more issues than they will solve since as stated in the first reason, Anet doesn’t play dungeons.

I’ve started quizzing people. If I put “experienced” in the title, I will ask them a question about the path.

Like for arah, I ask “Which hand does Lupi melee with”. If they don’t respond quickly or correctly, they get the boot!

I meleed lupi over 50 times now and I wouldn’t be able to answer quickly, simply because I never think about it, but if I recall I think it’s the right one?

It’s exactly like what kaiyanwan said, tequatl encounter is more of a raid fight but it’s a world boss, I’m pretty that’s why a lot of people aren’t doing it, pretty sure a lot of guilds would have a weekly event where they go to an instance and kill tequatl, even with the 15 minute timer, but the encounter being a world boss you’ll get a lot of problems (inexperienced people, people who don’t like to wait for over an hour, afk people sending you to overflow, lack of coordination, kittenbags who refuse to WP after they die)

All classes are fairly balanced, some classes just have better utilities in certain situations (banners, time warp, etc…)

PVE:
1- Dungeons
2- LFG tool (needs more filters, like level requirement and experience requirement)
3- RNG (mostly fractal weapons)
4- World bosses (tequatl is a really good boss fight but nobody goes there because there is no incentive)

Since you want projectile deflection I recommend sword offhand, it has 15s cooldown but it only blocks once in melee, for 2.25s in range though(I think). Never go offhand axe, axe autoattack does more damage than offhand axe.

p2 or p3? p3 is fairly easy and p2 is… boring and needs some coordination.

The new backpack looks good for your engineer, besides, we already have enough backpacks, and some of them even looked like the ones you suggested, unfortunately they are all tied to LS, but the current one you can get is pretty nice.

I asked whether selling spots in arah is allowed or not and my post got infracted and deleted…. too late now though, someone got an answer in the german forum and they said "It’s allowed as long as they don’t kick party members and don’t use exploits (afk belka, skipping lupi, etc…).

I think if they remove zerker gear from the game they’ll lose more than 20% of their playerbase, and 40% will flame the forums, and the other 40% will say that dungeons are too hard and take too much and OMGNERFPLSANET and the game will eventually die, the only solution, like many suggested, is to make other stats more effective or required.

-Are you doing said content with organized groups? Go ele, a good ele can do more dps than warrior and fights won’t last very long, you also have block projectiles and invulnerability, and LH and staff build do more dps per second than warrior.

-Are you doing said content on your own/pugs? Go warrior, fights will last long, eles are very squishy and you’ll get downed a lot, warriors are also wanted by a lot of pugs.

PS: Asking in the warrior subforum whether to roll an ele or a warrior will result in very biased opinions.
PPS: People who say eles are underpowered in pve need to l2p.
PPPS: Eles have really cool skill effects while warriors don’t… I find eles more fun to play with since they require higher skill level than warriors.

And to answer your question, they both can, LH eles can have perma blind on mobs and warriors have very high hp.

staff eles can do insane dps now, guang found a build, but it only works in organized groups, so bifrost is a viable legendary if you want to go dps, the staff build does around 14k dps per second in organized groups, that’s higher than warriors.

It actually is a real answer and if you don’t understand why it’s a real answer then you don’t really understand the position being presented by it. To repeat, essentially performance doesn’t matter because all that matters is that the content gets done. Whether I’m performing well or poorly is never even considered. All that’s considered is whether or not the content gets done. From that basis you can see the logical disagreement take shape.

That’s the bad performance mentality since 95% dungeons excluding high level fractals can be done even if you’re not wearing any armor.

The entire idea of your question is problematic because there’s (likely) never been a 15 hour dungeon run and nor would it be the result of the advice that I am giving and is therefore irrelevant to this conversation. If you want to ask a question that is relevant and based on the real game that we play I will be happy to answer it.

I’ve seen people say it took them 10 hours to do arah p4. a bad group will spend an average of 4-5 hours to finish arah p4.

I think we have enough currencies, perhaps too much currencies… that’s not a bad thing, I don’t think adding currencies would hurt the game but I don’t think it will improve it either.

I think everyone can wear zerk without even losing any hp if all the party members were experienced and did what is expected of their class in each individual situation.

Contrary to popular belief, warrior doesn’t necessarily mean high dps.

When I ask for zerk party only I expect everyone to be wearing zerk, don’t come with your shout heal warrior and wonder why you got kicked? if you want to make a “tanky support” party only then go for it, I play with whoever I want, I don’t say no to any class, just no to certain gear that I find almost useless, and whilst you may have a lot of spare time to finish I have less time and need to finish as much dungeons, thus I have to do dungeons faster.

I’d like to ask a few questions regarding dungeons and make some suggestions.

1- Is spot selling allowed? You said in twitter it’s not but in the forum a moderator said it is.

2- Can you make it so that you can downvote a kick, and the instance owner should have a special icon in the portrait in the party so people don’t kick him.

3- We never see any changes to dungeons (bug fixes) unless it’s with the LS, and we never get a reply from a dungeon developer, last one was 6 months ago and the daily gold from dungeons is seriously messed up to the point I doubt anet even played the dungeons when they assigned it, do you see where I’m going or do I need to connect the dots?
If they do however exist, can you tell them to post in the dungeon forum….

4- Will there ever be a sure way to get the desired fractal weapon?

I think there is only a handful of threads that didn’t derail in this forum, the funniest player fail threads (even that one occasionally derails) and the ascension project.

Chryzo showed it to me, I think it was a bug, he didn’t even move, it was on the top of the ledge and chryzo didn’t lose any hp whatsoever even when it went berserk, he didn’t even use the tranquilizer, I tried doing it but it only worked once but yeah, he akitten melee abomination, according to him, he only uses this method when he’s lazy since abomination is a pretty easy boss.

I think we call them kevlar, very bad players who act all high and mighty.

Saying you want to complete the content isn’t a real answer, who the kitten goes to a dungeon and thinks “I’m not really in the mood to finish it, I’ll just leave midway,” his question wasn’t whether you want to complete the content or not, his question was do you perform well when in pug groups?(bring the optimum gear, do what is expected to be done from your class)

The safe spot in the abomination is actually pretty OP, and yes, you can afk abomination but it’s really hard to actually make it a safe spot, it doesn’t always work.

I don’t really get a lot of dark matter by salvaging armor and weapons, I got 3 from salvaging 4 using BLSK, but I salvaged 4 exotic trinkets and got 8, using BLSK.

I’m pretty sure a lot of people asked for a ascended gear and we all knew it was coming, but I highly doubt anyone expected it to be that much of a grind.

I don’t think comparing damage on a berserker is a valid way, how about comparing damage on mage crusher in arah p3, party composition would be 2 warriors, ele, 2 guardians, guardians will make rotation of WoR and stack might, warriors will put warbanners and spam FGJ, eles will also make fire fields and stack might, only the ele and 1 warrior will attack boss, 2nd warrior will have no gear but will attack mage crusher to spam vulnerability, and calculate the damage the ele does and the damage that warrior does per second.

It better be a fractal weapon ticket or something like that, seriously anet, we want a sure way to get fractal weapons.

I want to see my own name and title, don’t really mind the portrait though, still, it’s the little things that make good games epic, I want the login screen from beta back.

I hope they don’t nerf fiery rush or lightning hammer…

I don’t like rainbows and unicorns either and we’ve honestly seen enough of them in the past legendaries, would be nice if they gave the new legendaries a dark theme instead.
