Since I am away from my comp currently what would be with full assassin armor and the two accessories and the rest berserker?
On my Guard with 12k hp I was able to do this without any help or buffs try the autocrat feature it should help
So I was dusting off my Guardian and was doing well in 1v1 and 2v1 situations as a Medi build but in larger scale fights it was harder to be impactful or to even stay up without blowing all CD, would speccing DH help with this?
Depending on what skills/ traits get reworked in core Mesmer does not inherently mean Chrono will get buffed, it all depends on interactions between all available trait lines and what is reworked, yes it can buff Chrono but it will buff the other Trait lines allowing for the possibility of better core Mesmer synergies based on what is actually reworked. I would have to sit down and actually think on what would be a good rework of some of the traits to offer any suggestions.
But just gutting the Chrono line and redistributing traits between the trait lines would harm Mesmer more than it would help.
Only reason I am looking for something updated is to see if it would be beneficial to change some of my Assassin’s gear into Berserkers and if so which pieces. So that it’s a little more fine tuned than just having the blanket of all berserker gear or all assassins gear
Iirc there was a spreadsheet that showed the break even point between precision and power, and showed you at what point either stay would be most beneficial for you. I believe it was frifox that made it but I could be wrong.
Has there been an updated spreadsheet similar to what frifox made for post HoT? Just wondering for a quick reference. If nothing I may sit down and try to compile one in my off time.
The map is on a timer at the end of the timer if your map isn’t already in the fight with Mordremoth he kills everyone on the map and resets the map. Not a big that is what it’s supposed to do.

It’s a good that gives two corresponding stats, just because it provides a good bonus does not equate to it being overpowered or a Bug, a bug would be something that is unintended, how do you know this is an unintended food item?
So just as a thought would Insp: 3-2-2 Illus: 2-2-2 and Chrono: 3-3-2 be a decent build with Assassin’s and Chrono Runes? Or would it be more beneficial to take Chronophantasm?
With the info provided I am glad I decided to keep my Assassin’s/ Saphir armor and get the Chrono Runes and with my Zerker weps and trinkets.
Also if you can raid with a good group you can farm the currency and purchase ascended

So after being a way for a little bit and reading through the forum I see the debate between the two runes Chronomancer and Leadership. So I see strong cases for both but does the price point and availability make Chronomancer the better pick? Or is based upon role in raids?

I guess having to use multiple skills to proc 3 illusions then setup so the shatter can’t be dodged easily is a “one shot”….
Please fix the range finder on all Mesmer Ground Targeted abilities, the reticle stays Green even when blatantly out of range and results in the out of range error message and unfavorable gameplay when trying to cast any skill using it.
Chronomancer is not all that more stronger it’s the closest to a side grade HoT introduced, it just gives mesmers a very synergized spec.

Ar check is nothing like gearcheck, and is necessary it shows you that players in a party meet the minimum requirements to not be useless to a party in fractals, more so in Higher level fractals
All the ones I have seen in Wvw roaming have taken care of most Mesmers I have seen go against them, maybe not in Spvp, I haven’t Spvp ed since HoT
Didnt say it was perfect, but unless they allow you too upgrade the AR portion of the infusions that’s the best I can suggest
Or you know remove the +5s and use the +7s in their place or craft another set of ascended armor to run lvl 100 Fotm

The thing you are comparing all those games are F2P while Gw2 was not until HoT and Gw2 base F2p is akin to a free trial not the whole content, Gw2 has always been a P2P non Sub business model, not F2p.

50 secs, but can be faster due to Alacrity from Wells and shatters, or from Using Continuum Shift then popping distortion for double distortion but times of distortion uptime can vary since less clones may be available and that has a 90sec Cd
Most of the Daze are from illusions, 2-3 can be from MoD but those have an ICD iirc, if you dodge the illusion rushing you you won’t be dazed as much and the illusions will die, opening the Mesmer up to pressure since they will have to get more Illusions up.
The invulnerability is from Distortion which takes illusions to make work for longer than 1 sec, to a max of 4 then there is the Sword 2 which gives evade the Mesmer is rooted while using so when you see the Blur animation back away and don’t waste any CDs for 2.5 secs, and if they run Well of Precognition don’t stand in the well and same thing it causes Blur as well. If you dodge the clones successfully you can cause them melt fast, all Mesmer defenses are active, not passive. You can see if they are running MoD if you look at their buffs iirc if that’s the case they can lock you down with it. Always carry a Stunbreak.
I haven’t Pvped in a while and never played reaper, this is the best I can tell you, some of it may be wrong. Other more knowledgeable players may correct what I say.

I have been running Dom/Duel/Chrono, and swap out minors depending on the fight. Running Sw/Sw and Sw/Sh
The shield 5 is great at clearing Break bars, I use Sw/Sw and Sw/Sh in most fractals, with great results, normally I will have one iAvenger up and two swordsman or 3 swordsman and using the shield as an aoe damage that can be redirected and as general cc since no target limit and to clear Breakbars.
On Wells I run Precognition and recall, and GW for elite.
I swap put recall depending on fractal level and fractal dungeon do to instability and so on.

If you spec specifically for quickness generation, you would find a use, but your dps will suffer overall.
Shadowstep, shadow recall, dodge.. then engage.. or just leave… I find it funny to blow their traps then just stealth away
Yeah I find it amusing when I play my Medi Guard and people die to me, really the old specs are still Viable just takes knowing how to play, only ones that gave me some issues are reapers but it’s more of an annoyance.
What I think is amazing is that people believe that Gw2/HoT are F2p, when the are P2P for all of the core mechanics, yes it doesn’t have a monthly subscription fee but if you want full functionality you need to buy the Expac. They allow the F2p base Gw2 as a pseudo free trial.
I can see them not adding higher real stats to those and maybe upping the AR stat if you are talking about the omni/versatile Mighty infusions, due to power creep

Let’s see there’s a few games that release expansions that say have new classes, that you could not get unless you bought the expansion, yet you can face them in pvp, one that pops off the top of my head is WoW, if you don’t buy the expansion depending on your level you can be faced with classes you have no way of creating. Say for the 50-70 Brackets the DK was only available to WotLk owners, so yes other Mmos have gated skills behind expansions. Hell that was a whole class that others did not have access to unless they bought the expac….
Best fix would be to stop people without the expac from competing with those that do and low and behold huge Qeue times till people buy the expac

Your post title says Hot join, not Unranked, which are 2 different game types, second your little pvp “rank” be it rabbit, bear, shark, phoenix, or dragon, means absolutely next to nothing when it comes to match making, since you can lose every single match and still achieve those “high” ranks.
Anet uses an invisible number called your Mmr (Matchmaking Rating)which you only build or lose while playing in ranked matches, afaik they have a separate Mmr for unranked.
So if you want the proper answer, post the proper question/thread title.

Sweeps the HoT join is completely separate from the Unranked, yes neither contribute to your Mmr ranking and are thus unranked but the Unranked Pvp mode is different.
Calling HoT p2w is kind of absurd, it’s a full expansion, just because you don’t want to pay for the expansion or wanting to experience any of the Pve content does not mean you are entitled to options provided by HoT or invalidate it as an expansion. All Mmos have offered new content and perks for buying the expansions they offer, HoT is no different. And Anet could have made it so non-HoT players could not Play with HoT players in ranked/unranked, if they wanted to
A real P2W model would be the Gem store having gear otherwise not available that provided a huge improvement over other players that did not shell out the cash/gems for, which is not the case here.
