It’s actually a semi-common bug where the game thinks you lost the defend Tarir event when fighting the octovine.
That and the map closing and kicking every one out with out warning. It makes doing the HoT events a grinding and unrewarding chore.
Well the HoT maps are a grinding and unrewarding chore anyway, but for the first bug there is a good solution. As far as I know most people that got the no loot bug only did one octovine.
If you do the octovine rotation (you know starting east, going north, then west and last south) you won’t get the bug. At least I never heard of anyone who did the rotation and had the no loot bug.
(That’s the best way to get max loot and prevent bugs^^)

Oh yeah, Silver is a perfect example of this, nodes everywhere, everyone’s bank is full of it, worthless on the TP and there is no demand for it, yet all the guild upgrades require yet more Mithril Ingots!
I fully agree and anet should really use way more of the extremely useless and cheap low tier mats like silver. Just to be fair, mithril should be used way more too^^ you get mithril everywhere by thousands, it’s not even worth to farm mithril nodes because the time it takes is more valuable than mithril^^
After a guild upgrade (we are a small/medium guild) we needed 5.000 mithril ingots. We actually fought over it, because everyone by himself wanted to put all of these ingots directly in, just to get some free bank space!

too long, I won’t quote it
I know that bots exist. However I doubt that this one is 100% undetectable. Anet can simply buy this bot, study it and ban all those players who use it.
And 99% of these programs/softwares/cracks/bots are scam or malware. You cannot trust anything nowadays.
Well all these posts will be deleted probably anyway so….
Everyone knows about that bot, because it’s the first google result
Two things are sure: That bot doesn’t work and anet banned everyone who tried to use it already ~2 years ago!
Don’t underestimate anet, they have some very good and smart programmers and they find AND ban bots regulary. The side from where he found ‘the bot’ has and sells the same bot anet lucky banned hundrets of accounts last wintersday.

indeed, absolutely agree, we should be able to mf the dreamer and kudzu, like twilight and sunrise. this would give you a medium bow (just like select stats u could set it as short or longbow, whatever you need) called eros, a white feathery bow that shoots pink hearts and everytime you shoot it makes some kissing noise. footprints could be 2 loving birds that fly away together.
Awesome idea, want it! Perfect for my wedding attire char that has the love glider and these roses. I hope the legendary armor (from raids) will have as a main feature some hearts flowing around it (like winter’s presence vor nightfury).

How long does it usually take to get 4 def cap and feel the bar full for the bosses?
1. Join a new map or relog until you get a 10-20% map, then start taxing ~50 people. This usually takes 30 min. until breach.
2. open lfg tool and join any 70%+ taxi. That takes usually 5-10 minutes until breach.
3. After breach taxi always people for vw in!
4. After vw, redo point 1 or 2.
Follow this 4 points and you can play SW 24/7 on full maps with max reward. (I don’t recommend it, because some sleep each day is important for human beings.)

It doesn’t have to take time to bot if somebody managed to hack into TP website. Everything can be done through commands, no graphical representation of TP is neccessary. It would be nice to know if ArenaNet is investigating the issue.
There are a couple thousand things that are more reasonable. Maybe there is really just some view bug, that might be something for anet to really investigate, but I’m sure John Smith would see/find such a bug very fast.

Please explain what I missed? Because in his case I would have put in sell orders for exactly 7s again and again instantly until I would have figured that someone like mystic is really only paying one (so someone is actually actively trying to get through the technic).
I think what he’s referring to is the response time. At first I thought this was someone or a bot that was refreshing these sell listings as they were bought. how long would you say it takes you to refresh yours? 1/2 second to realize your have gold to pick up, 1/2 second to select to sell iron ore, 1 second to open TP sell window, 1 second to select price and hit sell. so maybe 3 seconds total? probably 5 when not trying for a speed record? what I observed was less than 1/2 second total (click ‘buy’, click ‘ok’, new listing is there again, no delay). I’m not so sure a bot is capable of doing that within the confines of GW2 (it takes time to get responses from the server), which is why I asked what people thought in this post.
Ah^^ well with the time: Like I wrote I let the tp window open on the item. So click sell as soon as in the little corner on the left is any silver incoming, basically I guess that wouldn’t take longer than a second, but I’m not sure how long it takes until the Server sends me my silver if someone bought it.
Actually the basic idea is that you as the ‘only the one item buyer’ have not time to get the higher buy order, because I’m faster with the sell listing.
So that might just have been what happend (especially because the items you named are highly traded ones) and I usually can keep that up for only some minutes (after some minutes are just too much people buying, so somone usually gets to undercut/pit an higher buy order), so that might be the reason why you only has to buy some items until the seller gave up.
On the other side if someone can keep it up for a long timespan/hours with these 1 item low sell orders and he alwasy only needs a sec or so I would agree that it is suspicious.

I’ve been noticing way strange TP behavior too. Normally it’s no big whenever stuff takes longer than usual to sell but prices taking a serious dip the same day says something. Why all of a sudden is the value of something an entire 50s or more lower sometimes within hours?
Can you put that in more context? A price dropping by 50s doesn’t give enough information to imagine what could be happening. Can you give examples of items and their before/after prices? There are many reasons for a price drop – the most common being simple undercutting.
Let’s say you have an Elonian leather square that sells for 11g 50s then someone immediately undercuts by 1c then 20 other guys undercut them by 1c then someone undercuts them by 30s with a big stack. I don’t mean a precursor which wouldn’t be unusual but this much undercutting never usually happens in such a short timeframe. If it continues then people will simply sell mats for things individually as it’s lost money making the finished product eventually.
That’s totally normal. And yes right now crafting an elonian leather square might be better and 30 seconds later you would have gained more gold by only selling the mats.
Nothing strange there

@Iakoko: What you say is right for 99.99% of all skins. It is not right for the halloween skins like ghastly grinning shield. Halloween skins have only be available during halloween 2012 (so 2 month after release) and already in 2012 they needed an insane amount of rng luck to get one (They have been very expensive during the event, at that time most traders and extremly rich people didn’t have enough gold to even buy one!)
That was 3 years ago! 2014 anet added 100 more which didn’t decrease the price very much and most of these skins went acc-bound. So yes this is a big deal because it can’t be explained by usual hoarders or veterans or any normal player/trader.

Well chain sword did drop, but not much. But I fully agree with you that returning players is for sure not the answer. Not only is the amount of available ghastly skins on the tp still raising, there are even more sold to buy orders directly. Just last saturday and sunday there have been sold ~50 shields (and by far not all to flippers, because I know at least ten people, myself included, that bought one and bound it to their accounts).
Over the last two weeks I asked every trader I know and checked every source I found, but sadly still noone has an idea from where now this extremly uncommon and high supply comes. (Remember even Halloween 2014 gave only 100 of these skins and most went acc-bound in the last 3.5 Yeats)

Probably no ToS violation, but there is DR for this. So after some minutes you won’t get any more loot. Last time that happend on a large scale was sw/dt AFK farming and anet just changed very fast some events/loottables and made DR hit faster. Problem was solved.
[RUC] Riverside United Corps! For Riverside!
Conspiracy theories are all very well but most of the behaviour described in this thread can also be explained by a very busy TP. When I post a buy or sell order I usually “undercut” the existing best one by one copper. Often, one second later, someone will undercut me. That’s not a bot. That’s another player doing exactly what I just did but a fraction later. The volume of trades on the TP is huge and almost all of it is driven by real people, just buying and selling stuff. Try this, choose a popular crafting material and place a buy order a few slots above the current best offer. That order will usually be filled within minutes. That gives you a feel for just how many trades there are.
It’s easy to think that a small handful of bots are running the show but, actually, it’s a large number of players making lots of independent trades. If you were going to make GW2 bots you’d make farming ones rather than trading ones.
You are right, the trade volume of popular materials is huge and you can see instant undercuts/outbids.
I posted charts of suspicious activity in a previous post of some low supply/low demand items (exotic daggers): 1 person (I know this, because he always bought 11 daggers and immediately cancelled his previous bid after creating a new one) outbid his own offers by 1 copper at least 40 times when there were no other competitors. Every outbid happened exactly after 5 minutes, I checked it ingame. I still cannot explain it, but it doesn’t look like human behaviour.
Please read the answers you got in your thread again. Behellagh explained it in at least three posts how that works and what happened.
About the stuff if a website is ok for informing you in price changes: Basically everything that doesn’t mess with the gw2 client and the game itself is fine and of course ok by anet!
So it doesn’t matter if I use some excel algorithm to get the perfect flipping items or if you use a database to find out the best long term investment or if you for god’s sake create an big data cluster to predict future item prices for better speculation. Of course it’s totally fine to use any tool to get the information if you got undercut as fast as possible.
Well and again of course you have to manually go on the tp and put in manually your item/price^^ Important thing is every tool that doesn’t mess with gw2 or automates anything inside gw2 (like these drinking ‘clickmakros’ which of course are NOT OK) is good to use and the main reason why there is an API!

Try to read it again Bomber. You missed some crucial parts of his findings.
Please explain what I missed? Because in his case I would have put in sell orders for exactly 7s again and again instantly until I would have figured that someone like mystic is really only paying one (so someone is actually actively trying to get through the technic).
For me it is ‘hard’ to figure out at which point someone is really only buying the lowest item because while mystic bougth the 7s item, another person might have bought 10 of the more expensive ones. It’s just because of the high amount of people selling/buying these items. Sometimes it takes 30-50 sells for me to someone directly only buying the lowest 1 item sell order until I get it that there is someone actively trying not buy the higher sell orders. That’s why you can do this only for 5-15 min. with highly selling items, because after that time too much people try only to buy the lowest order / to get their buy order above mine.
For someone the people trying to get the 1 item sell order away, well of course it looks for them, but thats totally normal.
To the other guy above: Of course this works and it works well, actually there are really few people that check more than the lowest sell order and put their own sell order above. Most just sell small amounts at the lowest sell order (which is great, so I dont’t have to put in more for a while) or with larger amounts most use the little down arrow and with that technic they switch to the buy order. Same with buy orders, most give up after they tried to buy the 1c above sell order for 1-2 times and just put their buy order on mine.

After reading this and the other thread, well one thing is for sure: Everyone described the totally normal tp market behavior. Noone wrote anything that sounds like a bot.
If I got every post right, than here are at least 3 different market tactics discussed. I don’t have the time to explain all now (look in wanze’s threads or google), but at least for the main post from mystic:
Some basics:
1. ingame you don’t see all available items and orders.
2. over the API you only get the current state. Noone (yes Websites like gw2tp too) can have/use real time prices for all/large amounts of items.
3. market technics are not botting.
What mystic describes is a standard technic, mostly used on items that are highly traded. For example:
Let’s assume iron ore has now the lowest sell order value 3s1c, the highest buy order is 1s50 and I currently own 1000 iron ore. So what do you do if you are bored and want some gold?
You put in like 950 iron ore for 3s sell order and directly buy order for some hundret/thousand iron ore on 1s 51c and you put in 1-10 iron ore sell orders for 1s 52c.
Now you watch your sell order like a hawk and evertime your 1-10 iron ores are bought, you instantly sell more for 1s 52c, so no one gets a buy order above yours.
What happens:
1. at these highly traded items a lot of people just fullfill the highest buy order or switch to the buy order if the difference to sell order is only a few copper. So you gain thousands of cheap iron ores an noone can get a buyorder above yours.
2. Most people are buying these highly traded items in stacks/bulks. So many people will buy (probably by mistake) your 1 cheap iron ore and hundrets of your 3s iron ores.
Basically, if you are extremely fast with putting in new sell orders for 1c above buy orders, then you can play this usually for 5-15 min. until smart people begin to put sell orders under your 3s wall.
To be extremely fast I usually stand next to TP with it open and I already put in another ore, so I only need to click sell as soon as the TP window ‘has’ mony to take. That’s usually fast enough because other people will have to close the TP and reopen it to put in a new buy order, so luckly thanks to the TP system others can’t be as fast as you are.
It sounds easy, it is easy and it works extremely well. If you use some technics (or an excel file) to find every day highly traded items which match certain conditions, you can use this on 5-10 items each day and easily get ~100g in about 2 hours.
PS: That is a commonly and widely known TP technic, so I really wonder why mystic (and I’m sure you knew this technic?) thought there might be a bot???

Every time I think about legendary armor, I logout.
It makes no sense that the final “endcontent” in gw2 will be only available for a extremly small minority that are doing these horrible raid stuff.
So basically I hope that legy armor looks worse than every armor ingame, so that there is no need vor wish to grind bad content (raids) instead of really playing the game.
Let’s hope anet abandons these and instead gives us more legy weapons (HoT legy’s…..), more legy backpacks (fractal backpack is a REAL legendary journey!), and legendary trinkets.

Your achievement is done. That means you got the mastery point already. You can do the story over and over again, but you won’t ever get another mastery point.
[RUC] Riverside United Corps! For Riverside!
farmable (for example repeatable each day and you get all 3 achievs 10 points).
Most of your ideas are ridiculous relative to other players and only benefit your current level of AP.
Your farming idea is half useful but you would need to restrict high level AP from it, or your just reinforcing the same problem.
I guess you didn’t understand what I wrote (or I wrote it wrong). The daily cap is already a good restriction for high level AP farmers and should of course stay like it is. A good change would be to make them farmable for people that haven’t reached the cap yet.
The reason is simple: A new player currently needs at best 4 years to reach the daily cap maximum no matter how much or long he plays. (It would take longer for a new player now than it took for everyone who played since release!)
That is the really bad decision!
Btw. such a change would be great for the achievement ladder too because it would create more challenge for each postion. There are more than enough “never reachable or extreme time consuming” achievements in gw2 and these should be the only distinction for the ladder rank and not a daily capped 4 year farm.
Another real problem are the achievementpoints form “historical events”, these should be capped at some point too! That would create real challenge for the ladder and encourage especially high ranking people to finish long time achievements for example like some collections.
[RUC] Riverside United Corps! For Riverside!
Seriously? You like this cap to get other people to catch up ?
I really hope ANet will consider this cap thingie again and it won’t be any boundary to have new AP soon , it’s definitely not fair for all veteran players
Might be hard to believe but that cap is probably the best decision anet made about achievementpoints. You can only get between 3650 and 4000 (halloween, wintersday, dragonbash extra dailys) daily achievementpoints per year.
The problem is that the daily ap’s are an impossible amount to get. For example I play since release but just wasn’t possible for me to be every day online and do these. Currently I’m have around 10.000 daily ap. If the cap would be removed right now, than I could never reach any person that is currently at the 15.000 cap. I would be forever 5.000 points short no matter how much, how good, how long I play.
Worldwide the highest player is currently at 32.144 points. That means almost half of all possible achievementpoints are currently only availabe through daily. A new person now would at least need 4 years to even reach that point because of this stupid daily cap.
So basically the last thing anet should do is raising the 15.000 cap! If anet would change something, they should decrease the cap to 10.000 or make the “daily ap points” farmable (for example repeatable each day and you get all 3 achievs 10 points).

How are there still people that can’t do math?
Fact is (at least since HoT and the decrease of items from bags) that it’s only usefull to open Masterwork gear bags on lvl53-56. All exotic bags should be used with lvl 80’s for max profit.
But be my guest, if more farmers waste gold and open exotic bags on lowlvl chars than this will help the smart players to get more gold

I think a simple refund would be easier because it wouldn’t need programming. It would be probably better (for anet too) if you just send some $$ to your friends and family so they can buy these items from the gemshop.
That way anet would earn some money and people that already paid a lot of money could get something back and use that for items that are still usefull.
[RUC] Riverside United Corps! For Riverside!
This item could be enough to get a player with no convenience item to take the plunge and those with only one copy of convenience items to buy the max number of shared slots.
You forget one very important part: The player you mentioned are the usual mass which probably mostly uses gold or their saved gems (from achiev points maybe?) for that item.
Most of the people or all that bought multiple convinience items (and let’s reduce it to only multiple copper-fed-salvage-o-matics, which have NO more convinience at all) are the so called “wahles”. I will get the 5 shared inventory slots of course, there is no question, but I will only exchange them for gold. No more €/$ for gw2.
That’s the most interesting part this time about the “no refund” policy. f2p player won’t care, new player won’t care, even veterans won’t care (that are the people crying about the price, which is actually a great deal. 2,800 gems for 5 acc-slots is cheap as hell), but most of the whales are hurt by this no refund decision. From anets economic point this decision probably makes total sense and creates a lot $$ for them, but still its very interesting.

wow… this thread is hard to read!
I mean even I wrote here multiple times and I can’t follow anymore with whom/what I discussed…
With my current count (well like gaile asked) here are at least 3 different kind of discussions and opinions in here (1. refunds, 2. price problems, 3. suggestions/like it) and to make it even harder to write/read at least 4 long totally different threads have been merged in here.
Actually gaile opened this thread and her post has now been merged and changed to position 18.
If really any dev reads this thread (like gaile wrote in her post) and at least understands any part of it, well I can only say that I have big respect for this person!
[RUC] Riverside United Corps! For Riverside!
The policy is entirely consistent with past practices.
- When items go on sale, only some people are refunded the differences.
- The refund on town clothes was due to specific clothes being removed from the game (and changed to tonics).
- There was no refund on infinite gathering tools that I recall. Instead, everyone with soul-bound tools could convert them (at no cost) to account-bound.
- Commander tags were refunded (when they went account bound) only if you bought more than three, the price of the new tag.
If they wanted to be 100% consistent, they’d charge 100 gems if you have two copper-feds, refund 700 if you have three or more.
Like any business, ANet needs to set up a consistent policy for their customers that takes into account inconvenience to customers, without forcing the company to set a precedent that might require them to eventually refund everything.
I only fault them for not anticipating the frustration of some customers who bought multiple convenience items and for failing to make their refund rule-of-thumb public. (Also, would it have killed them to have put a warning in red: "this is a single slot for a single item, not suitable for a bag.)
Well, I don’t completly understand what you are saying so if I missquote or you mean the same, sry my fault.
Anet was definitely consistent in their gemshop policy until now, just some of the big decisions:
- pvp boosters: There was a proper time (~ 1month) to use them and people that bought them via the gemshop had a chance to get them changed into other boosters with help of support
- town cloths: Anet changed most of them to tonics, but everyone who bought some with gems was able to get a refund (no matter at which point they have been bought)
- acc-bound color: Everyone got an unidentified color back for every multiple color used on an account.
- wardrobe skins: with the wardrobe change gemshop multiple bought skins got refunded.
- light flamekissed costume: everyone was able to get a refund that bought it before the rework
- commander tag: Everyone with multiple commander tags (three or more) was able to get a refund
- wrong calculated price: I don’t recall which, but during 2015 anniversary sale on package recalculated it’s price from one day to the other if parts of the package went on sale. Everyone was able to get back the difference between paid gems and the lowest calculated/bought price
There are a lot more minor things, but everytime items “usefullness” got changed, anet gave a refund (at least a partial one). Only gemshop item outside of their policy was the endless SAB coin, but well you can’t count that because according to anet SAB will come back so the endless SAB coin still has it’s full value.
This time the usefullness of multiple acc-bound items was only to have the ability on multiple char which is exactly the same that the shared inventory slots provide. -> former multiple bought acc-bound items lost their usefullness / only buying reason, but we get no refund, not even a partial one.
[RUC] Riverside United Corps! For Riverside!
To clarify I didn’t say any item less than 6 months old would be refunded, only that I was refused a refund on an item that is almost exactly 6 months old so anyone else who has had items for 6 months or longer is unlikely to get a refund.
Ah thanks, my fault. Didn’t understand it right.
[RUC] Riverside United Corps! For Riverside!
Refund update:
According to my support ticket you have to have owned a duplicate item (in my case a mining pick) for less than 6 months to get a refund.
I don’t know what the exact cut-off point is, but I bought a 2nd one at the start of August and I’ve just been told that was too long ago.
Thank you for the update but that is still ridiculous: most mining pick & recyclomatic I have are more than 6 months old.
That refund is unacceptable.
I just saw the post above. If the thing with 6 month is true, it would mean that the GM I got didn’t know this / didn’t really check my account. It would be great if some dev could say something about this or check my ticket (number 2047273).
I don’t know at which time I bought all my things, I don’t even know the exact number, but I know for sure that I bought around 10 of my watchwork mining picks during the September 4 – September 5 2015 anniversary sale. (but like I wrote earlier, support says: no refund at all)
Edit: @Protogunner: regarding your question. You can believe me, with 30 char it’s annoying as hell to switch every day with every char to la/bank and back to your location (for example rich iron node). I calculated it some time ago, currently I need around 30 min. for a full daily rotation of my chars. If I would have teleported to a bank and back everytime, only because of the loading screens my personal rotation would have taken ~70 min. each day.
@Shikigami: That is one of the reasons. With these new bags I now can use one of these tools for ~10 more seconds clicking on each char. Furthermore I have a permanent bank access. So actually I put that in this slots and can now use all of the former tools on every char with just some seconds of time needed.
Basically if I try to see it generally from anets point: I bought these duplicated Items for a lot of money and gold to have the convinience to waste less of my lifetime watching a loading screen. I agree that this was at least for some of my items for ~3 years a big convinience, but it doesn’t change the fact that now every duplicated / multiple bought item has no use at all.

Since gw2 release I spent over 400€ only on gw2, even more money since gw1. For me yesterday’s update was like a hit in the face. Actually now most of the money and thousand’s of ingame gold I spent changed into a total useless waste.
So as soon as I saw the patch notes yesterday I wrote (a friendly!) support ticket (ticket number 2047273), asking for a refund. I couldn’t add a screenshot so basically I wrote the following list and asked if it is possible to refund them or at least partial refund some of the items.
- 4x Copper-Fed Salvage-o-Matic
- 1x Royal Terrace Pass
- 5x Molten Alliance Mining Pick
- 12x Consortium Harvesting Sickle
- 1x Thresher-Sickle 5000
- 5x Chop-It-All Logging Axe
- 20x Watchwork Mining PickI don’t get it, are you insane? Why the hell are you buying 20 Watchwork Mining picks etc? And why is no one asking in this thread about this? You act as if it is totally normal. Then you complain about 2800 gems. I don’t understand…
It is too expensive, yes, but it’s also a big QoL improvement. I am not sure if I just wait for a discount. I spent quite a lot of money to GW2 but 35€ only for 5 slots is very steep. It’s almost the price of the expansion…
Well, lets assume he has 20 characters.
:) currently 30 character^^
And I don’t think there is anything strange, I think I bought rather few compared with a lot of other people. Well, you have to remember that it was anets gemshop policy for over 3.5 years that gemshop items won’t be changed to something useless. Whenever anet changed something big in the gemshop they always gave at least some kind of refund or exchange. Remember cloth towns refund, wardrobe refunds, wrong calculated shop price refunds, harvesting tools soulbound refund, copied costume refund, etc.
Even for the pvp boosters they gave proper time to use them and SAB is still not off the table so that coin still has a value according to anet.
Of course here are some smart people that knew something like this would come. But I didn’t and I especially didn’t expect something like this after over 3.5 years. If there would have been any indication, well of course I would have bought only one of these items.

So as soon as I saw the patch notes yesterday I wrote (a friendly!) support ticket (ticket number 2047273), asking for a refund. I couldn’t add a screenshot so basically I wrote the following list and asked if it is possible to refund them or at least partial refund some of the items.
- 4x Copper-Fed Salvage-o-Matic
- 1x Royal Terrace Pass
- 5x Molten Alliance Mining Pick
- 12x Consortium Harvesting Sickle
- 1x Thresher-Sickle 5000
- 5x Chop-It-All Logging Axe
- 20x Watchwork Mining Pick
Of course I know that there is now way that I get every “multiple” item refunded, because some have been bought with bundles or special offers.
Sadly the 3 line answer from support was:
“We have reviewed your request to be refunded for the items that you purchased before the induction of the Shared Inventory Slot. However this time we won’t be able to grant you with the refund for those items. Please keep in mind that purchases from the Gem Store are seldom refundable, and as sometimes we are able to help, this time we will have to deny your request.”
Truthfully, I don’t like that answer. I can’t understand that non of the items is even partial or for 50% or for anything refundable.
Currently this just leaves a very sad and disstatisfied long time customer.
It would be great if from the developer side someone could check the ticket or if anyone has an idea what/how I could/should answer to the support.

Your skins are in your wardrobe. There is no need do save/store skins! Delete them. If you want to use them at some point, just use them from your wardrobe with transmutation charges. I’ve done that with over 400 skins (mostly gemshop skins) and I still don’t understand why anyone would “save” the skin item in his bank instead of just putting it into the wardrobe.
If your real problem is that you don’t have enough “transmutation charges” than just do map completion in every city and every pvp daily. Transmutation charges are one of the few blc items that are literally thrown at you. (I use lots of them and I still have over 250 charges, there is just no way to ever use them all)

The odds on the character appearing out of thin air is something like are are far smaller than it being a bot IMO, if you do that then expect to be reported, because your observable behaviour is precisely that exhibited by pos-hacking bots.
That’s the problem Doesn’t seem that op is mistaken, but for sure there are enough kids ingame that think “appearing ouf of thin air” (=just logging in with a lot of alts) is botting.

In gw2 healer or healing itself doesn’t exist! There are only some people that don’t know berserker gear and how to play.
Just buy some berserker gear and you will get gold every time.

…blabla…
Stand next to a Rich Iron Ore node and watch them appear.
…blabla…
Ingame I got so often yelled at or reported because of —-——- people that write stuff like this!
Just today it happend again… Like hundrets of other players I have (currently 15) char standing only on the rich iron node in brisban. Every time I relog on the next char at least one kid there starts crying about “botting”…
Only because some don’t understand what smart other player are doing it doesn’t mean others are bots or anything like that!

You know the wiki is player based? If you would have liked some informations there, then PUT them in there! …
For the rest, get HoT and join a big guild. It’s a great choice from anet to finally focus on big groups/guilds more and hopefully by this way remove some of the billions annoying 5-10 “people” guilds.

Buying is more gold expensive.
For crafting you need some stuff that might be annoying at some point (like 100% map completion).
So currently best way should be that you craft it and get everything for it. Only thing I would suggest for twilight specially: Don’t do the dusk precursor collection, just buy it from tp. That will save you much time and gold.

Perfect work anet… Who cares about lore, right?

+++++ That sucks! These need to be accountbound at least until you choose stats!
[RUC] Riverside United Corps! For Riverside!
Easy solution: Tell your friend to buy HoT and support anet. Your friend can change the server after your friend paid for the game.

…blablablabla…
Eventitems should be tradeable! Way more items should be tradeable! For example the change that fractal boxes are accountbound now sucks. It was great that I just could buy them from tp.
Everything that is tradeable removes gold from the game so it’s the best possibility. Especially the valuable special event skins are great! Everyone still can get them for example the grinning shield is still available for everyone at the tp. That’s way better than exclusive items which will never return and won’t be tradeable, because noone can get such crap items!

Yay!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
Finally a way my 32GB RAM might be used by gw2 and I might finally use the high resolution even at events like tequatl!
[RUC] Riverside United Corps! For Riverside!
Yea, that totally sucks. Especially if you consider that it was possible pre HoT to have all guild buffs active at the same time.
It would be great if you could at least use them all at once after the final tavern upgrade, but currently it doesn’t look like this.

Well, that whole map is designed for organized people (similar to triple trouble).
So basically the short answer is: You have to join a big guild or a ts organised community to successfully play on this map. Only other way is not to play there.

The cof xp farm is great. You can max all tyria mastery in about 8h. We can be happy the cof farm exist!
As a veteran I had instantly closely all available tyria mastery points. Why did I instantly have them? Because I played gw2 more than 3 years since release. During that time I earned literally billions of xp already. Now after xp got decreased and after a lot mobs don’t give xp anymore I’m supposed to grind not only ~50 million xp in Hot (which is kind of fine because it’s something new), no I should grind hours to get another ~32 million xp from content I already did for 3 years?
That’s the great thing about the cof p1 xp farm: You can do it for ~8h and you are done! No need for doing the maps for the 15th time, no need to grind events that either get stalled or have been done hundret times, no need to do boring content for dozens of hours!
No you just farm 8h and after that you can have fun again: Fun actually getting some reward in fractals, fun using a autoloot feature that should have been available since release, fun doing the precursor hunt’s!
So I don’t know what you hope to go for in this thread, but basically cof p1 xp farm is something awesome that anet gave us veterans so we wouldn’t have to spend hundrets of hours again in the same old content.
If you think about it, it’s great for everyone^^ Veterans can “rush farm” it, new players get it while they are playing the content veterans have already done and f2p player’s have the grind that they are looking for. So everybody wins.
