[RUC] Riverside United Corps! For Riverside!
(edited by Bomber.3872)
Hello,
we are a german only guild from Riverside. Our name is Riverside United Corps [RUC] and we are still recruiting.
What we offer:
To begin with: we are casual and a fun guild. Depending on who is online, we offer everything from PvE, PvP, WvW, LS, Fractals up to Lvl 50 to dungeons. You are free to join any of these activities but don’t have to.
- Currently we have 150 active players (each day are around 50 online) and at primetime (4pm – 01am MEST) we have usually 20-30 players online.
- We do guild missions each sunday at 20pm (MESZ) with around 50 people involved.
- Dungeons and fractals are done on a daily basis but it depends on the people which dungeon or level is played.
- We have some PvP oriented people with us, and even managed to win some Llamas.
- Usually we have at least one roaming group in wvw during weekly reset (But NO Raid or Guildzerk)
- New players can ask Veterans for any help needed.
- A TS3 Server exists but is not required to use, although we always like company
- We have a homepage but you need to be registrated to have access to the content: www.f-u-c.de (‘f’ because our guild was called Flussufer United Corps for over 2.5 years)
What we want (not much, but some things are necessary):
- Activity: We don’t want people that already gave up playing, meaning being offline for more than 2 months leads to a kick (If not arranged differently with a Guildleader)
- You should understand some dirty jokes and not be offended too easily (But still do not act like a little child).
- Representing is mandatory, still, storage Guilds are not a problem at all.
Interested?
If you are interested, please contact us ingame: (cojofoco.2546) character name: Guadelup, (Bomber.3872) character name: Euer Verderben, (Masrak.2037) character name: Syntho. If you can’t reach any of us, please send us an ingame mail.
Please don’t write us on this forum, because we don’t check it daily.
We hope to play with you soon.
Best Regards,
Euer Verderben

doesnt it bother you that you need gem store items to craft a legendary ?
5 box of fun. 320 gems.
Anyone has a link for that statement? (I read most of the announcements, but it seems that this piece of information slipped)
Edit: ah, found it in the wiki for “Quip” and “Moot”. Never noticed before

New Accounts have some restrictions lasting 72 hours up to 30 days. So you should get your 4k gems around after 72 hours.
@Ayrilana:
Account Jump Start regular price = 3.620 gem
It got a 45% off discount on first day annyversary sale = 2.000 gem
If you bought it ~1.5h ago you would have paid 2.000 gem, it only got cheaper because of black lion keys anniversary sale today. So right now = 1.875 Gem.
That’s just a strange behavior^^ What about all the people that bought it on 1st day of anniversary sale instead on 7th day?
I think Anet faild with the Account Jump Start calculations. I guess it wasn’t planned to sell it cheaper just because the black lion keys are cheaper today?
Edit: ups, please delete thread and add this to https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/gw2/Anniversary-Sales-Updates/first#post5426470

… oO two weeks and you are already wondering? I clear rhendak on 5 char each day since 4 month and no item… same with ogre and commissar… two weeks is like nothing
PS: and to make it clear^^ often no chest too, but that’s just dimishing returns
I think anet will sadly never add such a feature. For example our guild with ~300+- member had for 2.5 years the name “Flussufer united corps [FUC]” which was no problem for these 2.5 years. Then some little kid reported us (probably because it was bored) and anet decided to force us to rename (we assume that the reporting kid claimed that our guild tag might remind US minors (12-18) on an “bad” american word…).
If there would be a rename option we would have renamed back of course. So anet would have to create big and harsh manual filters for this option to not get spammed by kids crying about guild names.
-> probably more work than it would do good for anet…
There will not be raids like people think of when you think of WoW or other games. Will never happen. Will there be like possible 8 or 10 person content like we saw in GW1 with Underworld and Fissure of Woe, likely. But it won’t be anything like what people think of when it comes to raiding.
Exactly what I meant^^
@OP: gw2 raids will be likely short (1-2h to complete) with content like dungeons or fractals. Probably 5 – 10 people and focused on casuals with no “hard” or “limiting” content. And THIS WILL BE GREAT!
The things you wrote are more like WoW and only a very small gw2 minority would even want something like that^^ I’m sure anet won’t waste resources just to make 0.1% of WoW hardcore players happy and instead loose like 5% of their paying casuals
Didn’t know you went around asking players. Gw2 would have a HUGE raid community, and many people would return to pay the raids since that’s what gw2 is missing. It would be the end game I’d say over 50% of players would enjoy.
There is no need to go around and ask, it is plain logical thinking.
Gw2 is 3 years old and had no raid content at all. So we can be sure that people that love Hardcore raids like in WoW mostly left long time ago to play raids in other games.
Basically the current gw2 players mostly exist out oft people that like the current content which is infact no raid content^^
So why on earth should anet try to create Hardcore raids which is none of their player-/gamebase? Even more knowing that your hopes (loot, time consumption, failing, hard content) is something a lot of active gw2 players spoke against and whenever even parts were introduced they had been ignored or nerfed? (examples: old fractal lvl80 system, ta aetherpath, liadri, and so on)
PS: Of course most people are propably happy (me included) about some kind of raids, but I’m sure it will not be in the way the op described^^
Edit: sorry for my bad grammar

Luckly such kind of raids will never come to gw2.
But may I suggest the game WoW to you? Seems like you would enjoy such kind of boring long streched grind game way more than our beautiful gw2.
Silverwaste is by far the best. 15g/h.
If gw2 is going to be f2p, will we be able to get a $100 refund on HoT? Because there is no use in buying an expansion for a f2p game, that won’t be played anymore.
Even more important: If gw2 core is going to be f2p, are we able to get a $100 refund on HoT? Because I for sure won’t play it any longer if Guild Wars is really going f2p after 10 years!
f2p would be the worst decision ever, better shutdown gw2 instead of f2p!!!
Instead of f2p it would be way better if anet just would shutdown the servers. I thnk all gw2 players would way more appreciate a shutdown forever!
None of their customer and I mean realle NOONE would have bought gw2 if it was f2p. Even in gw1 it was sure that f2p would be the worst decision ever thats why it still after 10 years is NOT f2p.
Higher personal level = higher reward
And this is a good way to farm fractal weapons and other fractal only stuff without the need to play xx hours each day in this boring gameplay content.
At which time did you see these offers? I’m on EU Server playing usually between 5pm and 10pm MESZ and I search since ~5 month each day for such offers and just can’t find any in the lfg tool?
Zerker is best. Until anet fixes finally this issue that everyone (means non zerker) can join your group do following:
Just Start normally and usually at every dungeon you can see at the first enemy if and who is not zerker. Then just kick these from your group until these “individual specialists” learn that only a full zerker Team is the fastest. Nothing else and even one of these “I play worse because I want” is enough fail for a group to die or fail instantly.
Spread the word until wie finally get gear+buildcheck and then just have fun instead being annoyed by these “specialists”. Especially because mostly these people are only to lazy to farm enough gold for zerk gear and instead they annoy everyone with celestial, soldier vor other useless stats!
Thanks, then it’s just rng luck again
I want to buy the account jump start package. Sadly I own already 11 bank tabs.
I think the 2 bank tab expansions from these package are not usable if I already own 11 bank tabs?
If I can’t use them, did anyone get a refund just from them?
Since release every dungeon in gw2 had two dungeonspecific recipe drops which only dropped accountbound on one of the dungeon paths.
As an example, here one recipe from sorrows embrace:
http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Recipe:_The_Replicator
I do fz and se on a daily basis (and some other dungeons too) since over 2 years. I got both of the fz recipes more then 5 times, but since ~ 1 year I get no recipe from ANY dungeon.
Everytime I ask ingame most people either don’t even know that there are dungeon specific recipes or never got one of these.
So my question is, is here anyone who got an dungeonspecific recipe during the last ~3 month?
No, your example is not good. Noone is allowed to touch my 3 weapon boxes, 1 armor box and xxx tokens each track!
(It’s the only way how I get my dungeon collector achievement for 3 dungeons, because seriously who wants to spend time in arah, caudecus or hotw.)
Edit: I re-read again, I still only see 2 weapon/armor chests?

Same has been said about Guild Wars 1, even before it was released over 10 years ago.
→ GW1 is still alive, GW2 will be alive for at least another 5 years and more.
It reminds me about these awesome wings from Guild Wars 1. And it reminds me on that great looking wings emote in Guild Wars 1 and how hard it was to get it. (you had to buy AION or to know someone who bought Aion for these great emote)
My only roleplay with them is, that one of my char is a direct descent(end? sry, I have no idea how to use that word correctly ) from my GW1 char and one of the few remaining ancient items from this glorious hero are the Black wings (and one chaos shield^^).
First off, it works as intended
The goal with Black Lion Weapons is to generate a time gated item that you want to buy it fast from Anet (-> Buying BLC keys -> getting tickets). That’s why they aren’t tradeable and will never be tradeable.
Second important part is, that this is one of the few ways to intruduce items which are “worth” something. Means they are not just some 0815 common items like for exampe kasemeers staff that “everyone” owns.
That’s why a lot of players buy these blc weapons at introduction and save them for late to get some gold out of it. This is an awesome BLC feature!
If you want older skins, just buy them from tp, most are still very cheap. Some like the fused weapons are crazy expensive, because they have been introduced differently.
Anet said a lot of times that they will reintroduce the BLC sets again and again. So you could still wait for it. BUT Anet won’t reintroduce them often! For some it took 1 year, and some like the fused ones still haven’t been available since ~2,5 years.
So basically:
1. If you are a long time veteran gw2 player and you are sure you will play gw2 for lots of years to come, then just wait for reintroduction. All items will be available cheaper again at some point.
2. If you are a new player (or one of these “I play 5 month and then have a 6 month break” player) then just farm some gold and buy your wanted weapon from TP. TP and these prices are there ONLY for these player
PS: @Hammerguard: … that’s only some visuals. They don’t acutally have items… Anet might give you access to these npc too, but they won’t give you access to “more” BLC sets!

- orichalcum ore
- ancient wood log
Edit:
Ok, seems like my answer was to short to understand
- Ori: Get your lvl80 char up to the Karka champion at southsun. There you have one guaranteed ori node. So it will take 10 seconds to login daily and get ~15s out of it. I’m doing this each day with 7 char, all together it takes less than 1 minute and i get more than 1 gold.
- Ancient wood: If you look for your daily passion flower then you will find always close to it at least one ancient wood node. Another 45 silver (why does the forum “4_5_s” without _ translate into “kitten”???).
Most efficient way is probably to join southsun map 5 min. before karka queen. If you walk from the left waypoint to the middle you will find at least 1 passion flower, 1 ori node, 1 ancient wood node. It takes around 2.5 minutes to walk this way, then you can usually just kill karka queen and get your daily goldi items.
All together you get on a daily basis between 2 – 4 Gold out of this in around 5 minutes.
(edited by Bomber.3872)
Time-Gated is awesome. Best thing is, you can play as you want and still get everything in no time (just do login 30 days for celestial gear is less then 1h overall).
If you have problems crafting/logging in or anything else, you can just buy the most ascended stuff from tp for just some gold. Lot’s of casuals and me love it to get your gold for just some ascended easy obtainable stuff
In gw2 are no privacy settings needed. System is great right now. Stop complaining.
Third birthday soon and these awesome scrolls still don’t stack…
So whatever happens on third gw2 birthday, please don’t give us the next unstackable 20 lvl scroll!!!
Anet should take time to fix HoM. The people that complain all the time had ~2 years to get their stuff, so there is no way why Anet should hurry to fix it.
Important is to have a clean and good fix to save the specialty and importance of HoM. So Anet please take your time for it.
As far as I know, all ascended items should work, but right now there seems to be a bug that only few can be converted (mainly shoulder parts).
Might be that this information is outdated, because I have no idea if it got fixed today^^
No, you can only transfer your whole account to NA or EU.
Thats normal. It happens that you use 250 or even 500 silky sand and get nothing out of it. The droprate there is rare and random.
Yes.
It sucks, but to get all skills (back) you need to lvl up to 80 or complete hero challenges on the map.
Lol this whole thread is crazy. It’s fine to ask for more gems on the ultimate edition, because the stuff you get for deluxe and ultimate is in no way worth the price.
Instead of asking to remove stuff or refund things, you should ask anet to add more for people buying these versions.
I’m a veteran. This new trait system is even for me too confusing. It needs to be simplified!
The amount is kind of crazy^^ The whole thing is just a big money sink. It would be better if the small ones count towards the achievement but the expensive ones would have a low chance on some special item (like an extremly low chance on a pre or something). In that case everyone could get the achievement and the wealthy (or luckers) would still have a reason to gamble.
The hover list would be nice to get back, but whatever anet does they should NOT change the extra resize!
It’s nice to size your inventory differently then the wallet. I like it to see everything in the wallet, but only having a small sized inventory.
I’m an achievement hunter. I’m also not really rich.
I bought 1 for 100G + 250ectos and got back 25G and 300ectos. So minus 75G but plus 25ectos. Or just down 50g.
Still, 50g for 1 AP is cheaper than the other +1AP I got from purchasing a Gallant Weapon for 100G.
So I’m not even going to complain about the gambling. I’m happy with the result.
50g for 1 ap, because you had luck. Now try the next 1ap on this achievement for another 9900 gold
And now, there is no 50/50 chance on winning. I know some people that made the 100/100 achievement and they all “lost” ~8.000 gold + ~20.000 ectos^^
This is really only a big crazy goldsink, nothing more or less.
(btw. I don’t complain losing^^ Just want to explain that it is just wrong how still people say you can win or get out “even”. Thats not the case if you try the achievement or play much then you will lose.)
This ecto gamble just sucks. Especially for the title you need 100* 100g+250ecto…. I did it 10 times yesterday, now ~850gold and ~2000 ecto are lost…
It would be great if the little one with 5ecto and 40s would count towards the achievement because I will never be rich enough to waste/lose another 90* 100g+250ecto!
Think about it… this stupid achievement costs currently at worst case around 10.000 Gold and 25.000 ectos, this amount is totally crazy!
As I understand your problem is that you have a char which is not lvl80. You bought/got some skills at some point earlier and now after the patch some of these skills are locked?
If that’s the case, then yes it’s working as intended. I don’t like it and since anet told us about their new specialization system alot of people asked about this on the forums.
The problem is, some people have twinks for which they bought all skills with low level and low map completion, but with the new systems the hero points come through level and map completion.
So anet solved this, by only giving everyone their heropoints based on their current level and map completion state. And secondly they “used” some/most of them directly to unlock some skills.
→ Basically if you are not lvl80 you “lost” some skills. If you bought them with gold or skill points pre patch, then you lost that too. Only good part, you now only have to level until lvl80 and then you have ALL skills for “free”…
(If thats not your problem then sorry that I didn’t understand )
-Yet naive individuals here will procrastinate on the “value” of the prices. There is no “value”. That’s a subjective emotion you make up for yourself to justify your purchase.
The other stuff you wrote just means that you are willing to pay 50-100$ for nothing… wow! (you wrote that you don’t know what HoT includes…) We now it and it is not worth 50-100$, especially because it is only the revenant class and the masterys + specializations. Everything else is free gw2 core content and is NOT part of HoT.
To the quoted part, wow, just wow. I hope you will at some point get out of your million $ castle (or whatever rich place you live) and go to some poor people or even visiting in africa, china, south america. I would love to see their reactions if you tell them about your view of “value of the prices” for an amount of 50-100$.
You should get your informations straight before you write wrong stuff
First you added the 50$ for the core game. We the player have the core game! So your total is wrong, actually it is 64.23$ for the ultimate edition. No player would complain about that price!!! (Of course the 100$ are fine for new player, but that are not 460.000! 460.000 have paid their 50$ already!)
Second, so it is a ripp-off to veterans.
Third, veterans have been able to purchase the extra charslot for 3 years??? Yes of course, but what does it matter if I paid 10$ 3 years ago for a revenant charslot or if I have to pay it again now? Revenant comes with HoT, so it should be price inclueded for all veterans that buy HoT and not cost another 10$.
Fourth point you said yourself. You accumulated 45 ToK in one week… So every new player buying HoT can play gw2 core game right after purchase and get enough ToK until HoT.
Fifth is crafting, well did you consider that veterans might have to get all the materials too? Where is there any advantage?
Sixt the daily log in rewards only exist since ~5 month and you only get them if you log in daily. Where the hell is that any advantage that has a value to ripping of 50$ from veterans (at ultimate edition).
Seriously I don’t get how you can have such a mindtwist…. there is NO reward for veteran loyality at all. But it are the veterans which paid and were loyal to gw2 so that people like you can still buy and play it after 3 years!
In game, many are actually very happy with it. I’m seeing a lot of trailblazer titles around and few complaints.
As usual, the vocal minority of disgruntled self entitled players are the ones that plague the forums, and the happy majority stay quiet and content
Wrong. Most people just won’t go ingame anymore because they leave now. Since today there are even at world bosses only a few megaserver instances left. The few people you can see ingame have not bought HoT. The handfull people you find ingame with the HoT title are just some extremly rich or extremly young (and new) players.
The majority of anets customers are veterans and won’t play along with this rippoff. As usual a vocal blind minority raises their voice to play along with the rippoff.
You have to compare anet’s prices with anet’s products. There you have gw1 and gw2. One gw1 expansion had way more content then HoT and the price was 30$. Gw2’s price at release was 59$ and 79$ for digital deluxe.
Basically gw2 veterans now have to pay for an expansion that includes close to no content (remember most of the changes are not HoT changes, it are gw2 core usual update changes which are paid by the gemshop!) but the veterans have to pay the same price again for a 3 year old game they already bought.
The conclusion is easy, currently anet is ripping off their loyal (some 10 years+) customers and is sadly defended by new customers (and some kids that changed from other games to gw2 and will leave again after some month/years).
No xpac with the current informations. Anet has to change the current versions or release another HoT version only for veterans with more content (charslots/gems) or lower price.
I wonder why people try to defend these ridicoulus price with comparisons to other non anet games like wow… If you love these kind of pricing, then play wow!

All those skill point scrolls you’ve got sitting around? Pretty sure those will come in handy as well whereas a new player won’t have those.
That’s the problem with you guys right now… You don’t know anything about the game, but you defend anets bad choice with your heart…
Just for you: skill points scrolls will be removed next tuesday!
New people buying HoT, can and will play gw2 right now, because if you buy it now you get instant access to the core gw2 game. So every new player will have enough ToK until HoT release.
So yea, you are totally right veteran players have a larger advantage then new ones, we have even the awesome advantage to pay twice for the same game!
(edited by Bomber.3872)
Another big issue is, that what we saw at the 2 hour block beta is probably more then 50% of the content anet wants us to pay 50$+ for…
I read the last 3 hours a lot of threads here and there is nothing else right now we get new with HoT.
Most of the people that write that the price is great and worth it have just no idea what they are paying for… Most content like the new purse, new trait system, new wvw maps, new pvp maps, guild halls, masterys and more is not HoT content. It is free gw2 content everyone gets.
I really hope that one of these “oh how great to pay 100$ for something I mostly own already” would explain what exactly the content is they get for so much real money. I can only think of:
- revenant (well not with the standard 50$ HoT game
- spezializations (so 6 more skills for each class…)
I wonder what kind of extremly rich life people have that considers this two small things worth 50-100$…
This all will be available soon at the gemshop for only 50$.
At the HoT FAQ page https://help.guildwars2.com/entries/94582027-Heart-of-Thorns-Pre-Purchase-FAQ it says:
“If I purchase the Standard or Deluxe editions of Heart of Thorns will I be able to upgrade to Deluxe or Ultimate later?
You will be able to upgrade to Deluxe in the gem store, but the only way to receive the Ultimate edition is to buy it from buy.guildwars2.com or in-game."
Does that mean that I can (as a veteran player) after HoT release just buy the Digital Deluxe Upgrade for 2.000 gems at the gemstore and get the same full access to HoT? (Is that then the same game version for which new players have to pay 75$ right now if they want both games?)
And is HoT for free if I already bought the current Digital Deluxe Upgrade earlier? Or if I buy it now? Or do I have to wait until HoT release to buy only the HoT digital upgrade? (without the core game for a reasonable price)
