OK, I try again:
You get no gold from the event. But that is really not my point. I have enough gold and I would love to spend it on the blossoms trader.

The Problem is: you got ~100 blossoms in like 5h or more? (If I get you right). Thats only because you got the thursday and friday ONCE per day chestmap reward! You will get around the same amount for saturday and sunday! Then you have after the event after you spent 10h+ around 200 blossoms. Problem is you will need for the next ~50 blossoms another 5-10hh (because you get the mapchest with blossoms only ONCE per day).

Again you will have ONE reward Item from the trader after you finished the whole event in 4 days nonstop farming! THAT IS BAD!

Hm, apparently it seems to be an infraction on forum rules to be against toxcitiy, so I try again:

The so called “toxic” player have more than enough reasons to act how they do (for example See the current event). What I don’t get is why some player always try to call people “toxic” if these people only point out alot of the problems that exist in gw2.

Would be better if all would support these people in their fight for a change instead of calling them “toxic”.

Anet just needs to increase the blossoms reward! Like current reward *10 and instead of a daily account map chest, this chest should be charbound (so people with alot of char get more blossoms)

That little change would make the whole event worth to farm like 5h for one reward at the trader .

Currently you need to farm 24/4 the whole event duration to just get ONE kitten skin. Thats crazy, broken and —-———— as hell! Whoever had this low loot idea at anet should be fired!

So far I earned about 10 gold coins during the 3 events. Killing the normal mobs, and colelcting nods and doing events, and getting the event token, it been pretty good and still have till monday to contiune the fun.

I admit I not seen to many events, but this one does not feel bad. It hard to tell if you guys want easier for rewards or harder to be truthful, but maybe it not as bad as your making it out and saying everyone should hate it.

And on further note, who cares about gold? The problem is that you won’t get ANY loot because it is IMPOSSIBLE to get enough blossoms during the whole event duration!

Scarlets invasions were totally awesome, they had no problem at all.
Some kids whinig got us a changed silverwaste which still is great and had no problems at all. (Thanks to the developer who had the chestfarm idea)
Still some kids were complaining, so no we got a f——— up event which noone likes.
At least the whining kids are now happy because all player and farmer don’t get any loot too…

Now anet just needs to remove zerker and introduce mounts and then finally the whining kids are happy because gw2 is destroyed for any normal player.

Just a sad and totally bad event. Even southsun introduction was like a real awesome great event compared to this mordrem f—————-.

Won’t work. All precursor from collections are accountbound. All legendary’s crafted with accountbound precursor will be accountbound!

This daily system is way better! No need to grind lowlvl stuff to get loot/ap. Now you can just play as you want and get every daily or none and still get daily loot/AP!!!

Answer to OP’s question: anet doesn’t want you to change these item between Charakter. Anet wants you to buy more for $. Solution for all your problems: buy more of these items. For example:
I currently own 30 Charakter and I bought the infinite harevsting tools for each Charakter which cost me only around 70.000 gems, (not 90.000, because of special offers). All problems are solved no, never need to put them into bank again!

Edit: of course the same about infinite salvage kits or airship passes. Even if you like some play items like carpet or flute, just buy multiple for each char! It’s really easy, just spend some $ or € or a little bit ingame gold!

Your example is fine. You need to pay some gold for the recipe and the ingredients and for that it should cost more. (You can still get some silber in crafting that item and selling on TP)

Best solution would be to just remove these stupid megaserver system! Megaserver was anets biggest mistake in over 10 years of guild wars.

They should bring back the Server pve maps and only allow guilds to recruit people from their Server. That was great and during that time a riverside guild was a real riverside guild!

wvw only got problems after megaserverfail! It’s the cause of all Bad things in gw2!

Done it again last week with a new char. It was never easier to complete (well maybe durig the first two release weeks).

You should get at least full zerker exotic gear or even ascended. Then the open world events and LS2 is the easiest content you can imagine.

If RMT wants to try to trade through the TP, our active TPers are going to start intercepting their 250g trades for fun and profit really fast. After that happens there’s no way for the RMT to confirm whether or not their buyer got their gold. The buyers can continue to ask for gold over and over if they want. When all this goes down the market for RMT becomes exteremely unstable, I look at it and giggle like a schoolgirl.

Let me see if I got this straight.

Account A (Full account) buys say 1 green item. Then Account B (Free to play account) buys up the rest of the (potentially) thousands of stock. Then Account A lists that item (plus fees) for X amount of gold. Then account B buys that item, and account A gets the gold from the sale.

In theory it MIGHT work, however, that would assume that no one else was listing, or buying that item during the time of the transaction.

So what would happen if during the time between transactions of account A and B people list that particular item, for a much smaller amount? Or someone else buys the item listed for X gold instead of account A? (Thinking that for whatever reason that item is extremely popular, as they just watched the entire stock dry up, and speculate that the price might climb)

Also that’s assuming account B has the funds to do that to begin with. (To buy out complete inventories of anything, and to be able to buy the item account A listed). And assuming that Anet won’t suddenly notice that the entire supply of any particular item has suddenly been bought at once, and not take action. IIRC, JS said that people have tried to manipulate the market that way, but were “taken care of”.

Yes, but one thing is wrong. Not it “might” work, it works since month^^ Of course it is stupid to do that if you only have your account and a f2p. Think like this:
A botter (or goldseller) can create hundreds or thousands f2p accounts, they just don’t have to care about 15% tp. Same with the amount of items. Check some items out^^ There are items that can be bought/sold by f2p accounts and are only like ~30 available.

If you trade a lot on the tp, then you will find out that some items like matierials are probably sold/bought by thousands or millions a day. Items like weapons (white, or blue) more like 5 a day with luck^^

Most important these deals happen in seconds, there is like no way a real human can interact/interrupt these. If you want to watch some leftovers from such deals then you can check it at ALL time via the TP right now!!

Just do following: Open TP, click on Buy item, at the sorting function click at rarities (for example) masterwork, order the whole by price (decending!): → right now are like 50 green masterwork weapons on the TP for 20gold+ and around 10 for ~100g+-.
→ These are all leftovers from such deals

Sad and bad “sales” are the days where anet reintroduces the same items for like the 500th time. Like wings, rox quiver, kasmeer’s staff, majory’s dagger, and all the other resold stuff that is available for the same price like always…

I think it’s save to say that f2p can only buy/sell materials and crafting items from tp (+agony infusions). I couldn’t find even one “not crafted” item that I could buy/sell as f2p for the last hour searching at the tp.

It’s like flipping: Buy low, sell high.

If there is only one item, it can’t be done — that item will end up getting used by 1,000s of people, and eventually the ratio between buy & sell will drop well below the 15% in fees. For people to transfer gold with impunity, there would have to be plenty of such items and known only to specific gold sellers.

Flipping works because there are plenty of items in the unrestricted economy with the ‘right’ combination of supply:demand ratio, sufficient sources, and enough people willing to pay a premium to have the item now. Gold transfer from restricted accounts has much more limited options and many more people interested in trading them.

Well, ok with one item only it would be hard (that was not such a good point to make^^). But reality is that there are hundreds of items for f2p accounts to buy/sell (I think most or all craftable items).
I never said the transfer would be with impunity and I surely hope anet uses enough antibot/selling systems to get every f2p account that misuses the tp for transfering gold.

@pdavis: Yes, basically it comes down to one point: Is it more efficient to use a f2p account or a paid account? (Actually I don’t know how easy it is to generate much gold as a f2p account, but it really just depends on that value^^)

Use an crafted item^^ Or if you want any item that you can buy. For example: “Valkyrie Mithril Axe”

Checked right now. f2p accounts can’t buy or sell ANY sigil or rune (no minor, no major no superior!)

Edit: At guy above me: I didn’t check every item but for me it looks like most or all (besides agony infusions) items that can be bought/sold by f2p accounts are “crafted items” or “crating materials”. I think anet’s f2p antibot solution is more like slowing these down and then catching them if they try to “wash” their gold.

I’m happy to have such awesome options in the dye pack, don’t get me wrong, I’m grateful and think it was an awesome gift, but the first dye off the lists on the wiki I decided I wanted to get has been excluded.

Just saying: Right now abyss is ~50g and celestial ~95g. Only because trader buy it in hope that it will raise!

I created and tested an f2p account. Fact is:
- F2p accounts can buy AND SELL a lot oft items (even some exo items) in TP.
- f2p bots can wash their gold via TP (means f2p accs HAVE multiple possibilities to geht items and gold to other accounts!)

Sadly I’m not at home right now and don’t recall if some runes/sigil were tradeable. I will try it in about 2 hours if noone else responds^^

No one’s every shown proof of Precursors dropping in WvW. I figured I’d do the public a favor.

There have been a couple threads over the last years with wvw precursor drop proof. There was even one about “farming veteran harpy for precursor”.
