We scared BP and Maguuma so bad they had to team up. So who is winning this match up? in my opinion Devona. We don’t play just for score and tiers we also play for prestige which in my eye both these servers have zero value. We will see you in following match ups holding some others b…

Thankyou OG for coming out to fight WäR earlier today in BP. It was alot of fun. I’m the glowy dagger thief from WäR. Looking forward to more fights with MBL and DRBL all week long.
It only your leader was like you things would of gone smoother.
LARP was on Kaineng..then bailed to Ferg Xing…then bailed to someplace…then bailed to DR. Is that a bad thing? wouldnt know either way. They’ve always claimed to be a small tac team looking for field fights. Their moves were probably still inline with what they’ve stated all along.
Good fighters? Well, good teamwork and communication, so yes. They’ll typically rush you and blow cooldowns. If you’re not wiped they’ll flee until cooldowns reset and repeat it. Key is to not chase. Soon as folks figured out to not chase and play their game, force them to play map objectives…they typically became loot bags or quit fighting you.
As to whose better? Well dunno, only been in one skirmish with WaR/OG and it was at a camp where BP/Mag/DR were all fighting at once. DR was the underdog manpower wise by a good 2:1 from both other servers. But we gave as good as we got I think. Had run ins with LARP long time back…i typically didnt play their game and stuck to map objectives. In the field on their terms tho, they typically won…fighting map objectives they typically didnt.
I’ll give LARP props on teamwork and knowing when to pick fights and when not to. In the end it really boils down to last man standing right? So if you call em out and got rolled…your fault I’d think. You didnt come prepared, expected one thing but got handed another, again..your fault. LARP at leasts scouts a situation before they engage. And rarely jump into a fight where its an almost guarantee fail.
Am I advocting for LARP…no. They really do nothing for server progression and the type of fighting they prefer is found more on tPvP and not Wv3. But if you get tied up in one of the ambushes…hope you know more than button spam…lol
LARP has a unique fighting style…learn to counter it, die to it, be part of it…but I wouldnt suggest challenging it if youre not prepared for it. And def not get upset when you’re called and the outcome wasnt what you’d expected.
LARP’s style means bringing x2 more then the enemy. If that’s the fighting style you are talking about then id rather not be part of it.
I tried to arrange a fair fight with Bunzy (respectable even number matchups), instead when others from Maguuma jump us, him and his buddies decide to jump in as well and claim victory (4 vs 5 + the 2 that jumped us). Ok that’s how it’s going to be… So, I bring more guys to the fight for a more even numbers matchup, [WäR] wins the fight. More [WäR] show up later to win more battles and now magically things are unfair.
While I will give credit that OG has some pretty strong players, if you’re going to troll others by fighting with unequal numbers, learn how to handle it when you lose.
If you expected to kill my guildies infront of me you are clearly mistaken, I would never stand by and watch them die. You do realise I have the majority of these fights on video you will see the first fight it clearly 4 OG vs 6 WaR and we win that one. The rest are 5 OG vs 10ish WaR.

Well, while you’re flicking through all your hardcore wvw footage desperately searching for a clip in which you don’t die 10 times to a zerg maybe you should actually watch all your gameplay because it clearly looks like you’re just spamming skills to me. Maybe if you were doing combos or something I might give you a little credit but you’re using a build a brain dead monkey could play while blind and handcuffed behind the back.

You know you outnumbered us by almost 2:1 ratio. You also kept abusing culling by using mesmer portals. You should of been able to beat us but you came close I guess, better luck next time.

Well, I’m not aware of what they did on EB. They were on Kaineng and then FC where they did not have a bad rep.
didn’t run too much on eb just killed people, when we were on. Most of the guys are just kinda bored at the moment. Mainly the zerg friendly mechanics and just the lack of good groups to fight.

Ah well, it’s pretty zergy in T5 at the moment as well.
T5 is worse then T4 because of the population. As a roaming guild we love to roam borderlands as there is alot of open space and less “castle” fighting. Recently the borderlands have been empty and we have had to go to EB to find fights which isn’t fun as there is a “castle” every where you look. So you will be facing lots of zergs as well as siege and veteran guards – not a fun time.
I can recognize when something limits the amount of skill a player can have. The downed state will always favor the people with the most numbers, this is why I don’t agree with it.
And not having it favors the flavor of the month classes, and high burst classes, your point?
Ironically what you want HIGHLY benefits your class.
Again, play a Ranger, and/or Necromancer and run around with a group of non-flavor of the month classes, and do what you do now. Some classes have a lot of traits that are primarily dedicated to the downed state, Warriors, and Guardians among them.
They would have to do a lot of work to do what you want, so you can kill low levels, and undergeared toons.
I would rather the developers work on something else.
We run with a ranger often, He manages to keep up with the other classes fine. If you die to a high burst class it often your own fault, I don’t think having a safety net for bad play helps with that.
Not as good as Anonymous Defenders vids. Keep it up though

your fighting skills are top notch, nothing to criticize there. AD has more entertaining videos with teamfighting and their teamspeak chatter in the vids adds to it. Also they edit their video to be in-sync with their music. they also show when they finally get wiped by the zergs they are fighting. your video lacks transition to the next fights happening. its like one long marathon with techno beats running in the background. it’s not as entertaining, but the player skills on display are excellent.
I can let you in on a secret, the only communication that was used in these videos was in party chat. No teamspeak or anything

With all due respect killing undergeared, and low level players leveled to 80 does not require skill, just a class that does a lot of burst damage, or a group that can utilize combo fields, and AoE damage. MMOs are not my choice for determining the skill level of a player, but I find these games tediously easy to play. No, if you want to test your skill, in a game that can actually measure a players skill, play something like Starcraft 2.
The only way to measure skill in this game, is to advocate a situation where everyone has the same stats and abilities. Quite frankly, that would be boring. The downed state is fine. I have no issues killing anyone with it, or without it. There is a lot of other things I’d rather the developers spend their time on.

I only recall one fight with me there. It was at the ruins on the first night (iirc). One of your elems either came down after us or fell off the back side and we killed them quickly. We then portaled up and killed 3 more. I only recall four but I got there a little late.
The fight was over very quickly since you got hit offguard and were seperated. Pretty sure you were distracted by something else and we also outnumbered you. I didn’t see it as a clean fight so I deleted the footage.

Any group we “lose” to we would remember the guild tag, without evidence there is no point in even making a claim that you beat us. There is no guild that has beaten us in a straight 5v5 fight and this is because the only other group I would consider “good” would be AoN who are also on Maguuma.

You guys are actually pretty mediocre. NAME has been doing WvWvW for a little over a week and I can recall many times where we have ganked you and your members. You guys are just looking for kills everywhere you go. This makes it extremely easy to bait your team around while making you forget about the real objectives of WvWvW.
You have no evidence so stop making claims. The real objectives of WvW to us is killing people, it’s what we do.

Final update of the night. Stayed up late here. DB night zerg arrived as expected, focused entirely on Yak’s, completely ignored Ebay. Took our outer towers and was stymied at inner towers and keep. Ebay was non existent during this. Aroung 6:30 am eastern we took SM with a mesmer hidden inside. Immediately following, Ebay came out of hiding to hit bravost, our tower. They had done nothing on the map for hours.
