Tbh I think it’s the dungeons and the WvW that keeps people playing this game, not the LS because most people get bored of it after 1 to 2 days and goes back to dungeons/ WvW

So right now a lot of people that I know is really fed up about Dredge. Anet themselves have admit that Dredge is already too long and just frustrating and not fun in general, this was a few months ago before the big Fractals patch, and now the problem still exist. Anet hasn’t done anything to make Dredge less frustrating, in fact they fixed one of the glitch and now seriously Dredge is a nightmare.

Are we supposed to cross our fingers everytime and hope we don’t get Dredge 3rd fractals? If we do I guess we just gonna restart the whole Fractals? What kind of game mechanics is this?

Please do something about this because tbh Fractals is one of those few places that actually fun instead of mind numbling dungeons. The rewards for Fractals is bad but I couldn’t careless because that’s what regular dungeons is for, who cares, but please do something about Dredge and make Fractals enjoyable again. Thank you

Keep in mind that the longer Anet ignore this problem the more people will be even more fed up and just stop doing Fractals in general

Depends on the situation. Fighting dredge youre better off with Null Field and with CoE Mark w/e golem surrounded by turrets iDisenchanter is king.

Uhh no, staff is great for boss fights when there is condition spam and has the most survivability of the weapon sets imo. If you want to go through the rigor staff is also capable of spreading the most boons to group. Of course if you’re just talking the bang your kitten S bullkitten then refer to the first sentence.

If your group doesn’t have a Guardian and everyone is kinda new to the dungeons, sure Staff could use some use to help the party. But 99% of the time other weapons are better. Plus you gear yourself as a zerker so the cond damage from staff will be pretty bad too

Feedback, time warp and sword/focus will provide enough utility for most of the dungeons. Other utilities are optional

If you are new to Mesmer, I would recommend using a GS so that you can pew pew from afar without any harm and start learning the fight. But your damage won’t be that good since you won’t receive any party boons and GS just doesn’t do a lot of damage as a weapon

Once you familiarize yourself with the dungeons and how to play mesmer, either switch the GS to sword /sword or sword /pistol. IMO the melee play style is more fun than pew pew from afar, you will also deal roughly 30% more damage than a GS

Everyone keeps saying if you want to make a lot of gold just play the trading post, buy low sell high. Im kinda confused, can anyone explain this to me?

Well the gentleman above me was saying 2000g only profits in 200g when playing TP so I think I need at least 1000g

WvW isn’t balanced even between servers of the same tier. The reason is because there are no measures in the game that prevents WvW guilds of equal caliber from teaming up with each other and waffle-stomping the smaller guilds or WvW populations. So long as players are left in charge of maintaining a balance, there will be no balance. Programmatically the developers would need to redesign WvW to spread WvW guilds between different teams such that they are more equally matched.
