You can’t jump up hills. If you can jump up it then it is not a hill, it is a warp in the space/time continuum. Anet does not make hills that can be jumped.

LOL, seriously though, thanks to the downtime in WvW due to hacking into their Citadel, I was finally able to finish some dungeon runs and make Juggernaut!!! Does this make me invulnerable to QQ tears?

So I thought of this while beating the Marionette again and it really intrigued me. Anet, have you thought about doing any multi-world events? The mechanic is already there with WvW, but what about a cooperative event between worlds? One of the things I am loving about the Marionette is the constant work the seperate groups are doing and still keeping in contact, etc.

Anyways, just curious if anything like this may be coming in the future.

EDIT: Or it could already be in progress, I don’t know.

And one matchup is not a good reference point, especially when the league had just started and PvE folks were in full force for achievements.

I’m interested to see where you/NSP will be ranked in our league, if you both drop down. SF/HoD will probably ascend for next season, whenever that happens, so we’ll probably be fighting it out with you two.

Personally I believe IoJ is in an area where we would stomp NSP and SF, but of HoD keeps it up we’d be on par with them. If not have slightly more coverage. However CD coverage is superior to ours and they beat us.

Most of us here play to fight in silver now, screw the ppt.

LOL, didn’t read any part of this thread until yesterday, then got tired of seeing the same old stuff from all three servers.

Yes, SF has good numbers. Yes, so does HoD. No, GoM doesn’t. Yes some players from SF jump and dance on corpses. Yes, every server has the same type of people that jump and dance on corpses so turn off the emotes and WP when you die like you should anyways. Yes, SF has no overnight/morning coverage. Did I miss anything? :P

I still have to laugh at how when (no matter what server you are on) if you got beat it was numbers and not skill, but when you beat someone it is always skill and not numbers. I like to look at who wins the PPT battle when each side has their numbers on. When HoD has their numbers on, they win the PPT battle. When SF has their numbers on they win the PPT battle. When GoM has their numbers on, well, they do not win the PPT but they have impressed the hell out of me. GoM, you guys can do a lot with lesser numbers. A few fights I have been involved in you guys did have more numbers than the group I was with and I had a hard time staying alive.

To those keeping it classy, good job, I have loved the fights this week. HoD, I hate having to fight you guys two weeks in a row, hopefully our fairweathers do not completely quit wubwub. But I think facing quality opponents like you guys is better for our server overall, it tends to but a spotlight on what we need to improve.

Every server in the game wipes larger zergs, you win some you lose some. But nobody can be everywhere at once. We currently are doing OK in our borderlands but have outnumbered in EB, we don’t have the forces to control our territory both places. If we push EB our borderland is vulnerable and we lose ppt, if we hold our borderlands then EB is vulnerable and we lose ppt. Even 10 or 15 more people at a time is enough to shift the points in favor of a server.

Uhh, numbers still means you can hit targets that the other side can’t defend. It makes it way easier to split your forces, flank, hit multiple targets, etc etc etc. It also means you can put more meaningful forces into other borderlands and EB, stretching the other teams thinner and making their defence weaker.

Whatever the individual skill of players involved, numbers is the number one winner in wvw.

Well, that is sort of true but not when you think about it compared to what Narsil is saying. No matter what you guys think, we do not run 4 50-60 man zergs across the maps. If you guys can wipe our 50-60 zerg with a group of 15-20 then our zergs couldn’t capture anything.

Put it this way, we do not double your numbers. We have more yes, but we do not double and if you are honest with yourself you know that is true. And Narsil is saying with LESS than half of our numbers you guys wipe more than double your numbers. If that is true, we could not capture and hold enough to be winning by over 60k points.
