Let me get this straight. You spammed a treb, never repaired it, and nobody came to stop you. Therefore, you wracked up a lot of points. And somehow managed to lose regardless.
Where exactly is the problem here?
What do you expect people to say? You bumped your thread a half dozen times, and spam your link in every other thread. All for a glass cannon build showing off how you can burst somebody down in Moa.
Grats on the kills.
Confusing Cry(retaliation on F2) does not work with Illusionary Persona, you won’t get the buff unless you had a clone up. I assume this is a bug since Distortion works with Illusionary Persona fine.
In case you didn’t realize, it’s not even possible to sell something on the trading post for under the NPC value. The starting sale price has to be above that amount or it won’t post.
And this is hardly an exploit. Someone just found a cheaper way to roll the dice. Everyone knew 4 rares had a shot at turning into a precursor.
Oh my god.
What is with all you players out there saying this patch fixed an “abuse” or “exploit”
NO ONE likes running a dungeon and having to spend 2-7 silver ON REPAIRS and then end up getting 80 COPPER – 1 SILVER for a reward!!
You’re right. May I suggest you stop dieing?
Do people enjoy talking out of their butts or what. Blue is priority for ties? What nonsense.
Will it fix speed runs of the easiest explorable path, or chain farming bosses with easy access without even attempting the rest of the dungeon? No, there will always be a path of least resistance no matter what you do.
However, it would go a long way in promoting people actually clear the dungeons. Lock purchases from the vendor until all 3 explorable paths are cleared.
-Signed everyone who cleared CoF path #1, and are tired of hearing that “its bugged let’s just do Magg 20 times”
Not sure if Arcane Thievery is bugged, but it definitely doesn’t take all the boons on the target as the tooltip indicates. From what I can see, it takes like 3 or so. Same goes for conditions.
The problem isn’t whether or not they are fine when played flawlessly. Everything has the potential to be viable because of how the game is designed. The problem is that some classes require top level micro and flawless play in order to be competitive, while others can Hundred Blade/Heartseeker you to the face.
Can they be countered? Dodged? Sure. Where’s the elementalist skill that you ALWAYS have to be aware of or else you will insta-die? Forget elementalist, where’s the CASTER ability that you have to be aware of. Mesmer’s Moa.. a CC. And that’s about it.
The results are 100% repeatable, so it isnt a chance thing. And yes, it was already reported. That’s not what this thread is for.
Definitely did, just trying to figure out what the bug actually is so I can avoid having a weapon set without any functioning sigils until they fix it
Here’s a vid: http://youtu.be/EE29JTw55LM
TLDR of tests:
1- MH: On swap, next attack poisons/OH: 5% damage. Result: No proc despite getting buff(get 5% damage?)
2- MH On swap, bleed/OH 5% damage. Result: Bleed(MH) on swap (poison was from GS having poison proc at beginning).
3- MH Bleed/OH Poison. Result: Bleed(MH) on swap. Debunks “newest sigil is what procs” theory.
4- MH Poison/OH Poison. Result: Poison procs.
5- MH Poison/OH Bleed. Result: Bleed (OH) procs.
6- MH Poison/OH Unequiped. Result: No proc, no buff.
Not shown in vid: the fact that it isn’t random. Whatever results occur will continue to occur 100% of the time until I switch out sigils in some way.
Can anybody pick up on a pattern? Or is it just bugged with no rhyme or reason.
Of course it’s intended. It’s a PvP zone, and you GET siege equipment at the end! Preventing enemies from getting up keeps free siege equipment off the field.
What a ridiculous complaint.
Is this a serious question? That’s the entire purpose behind the 3 faction format..
Oh sorry, he meant the targets #1 not ours. Yeah they take damage for all of them.
Confusion doesn’t trigger on the #1 of ANY weapon.. what are you talking about.
Because quite frankly, its not possible to use it as a main part of any build. This is disappointing to me as I came in viewing it as the Mesmer’s unique mechanic along with shatters.
Duration is too short, even when stacking domination/traits/double condition duration runes. Its too easily removed, and you’re pigeon-held into using scepter.. which brings nothing else to the table.
More often than not I’ll line up the shatter+scepter #3, see my purple “1000”, then cry as I switch back to weapon#2 and wait for c/d’s to be up. And for whatever reason it seems to do way less in sPvP than dungeons, despite having like 3x the condition damage.
I feel like its intended to be something that is just there sometimes for a little extra damage, and that’s unfortunate.
Who are you trying to fool? Armor does almost nothing for damage, and you’re still wearing the accessory.. which is the vast majority of your stats. Grats on the glass cannon.

What version of Windows and it didn’t make you reinstall going from AMD to Intel?
Windows 7.

first screenshot ->21fps vs 50fps / 41% vs 73% GPU Utilization
second screenshot -> 48fps vs 102fps / 48% vs 90% GPU Utilization
Those percentages are actually the GPU power draw. The first percentage is GPU usage, second is fan speed.
It’s still quite a difference, but not as pronounced.

Long story short: I upgraded. I went from an AMD X6 1055T, to an Intel i5 3570k. The X6 was overclocked to 4ghz, so that’s what I overclocked the 3570k to for the purposes of this test. All other components remained the same (except motherboard, obviously), GTX680 and 8GB DDR3 1600. I did not reinstall windows, or the game.
I picked these two locations randomly because they were indicative of the biggest problems. Tons of people, and looking into a deep horizon. I recreated the spots as best I could, but didn’t go crazy. The forge spot is essentially my minimum FPS.
The first two screenshots are AMD, the second are Intel. FPS is in the top left hand corner, along with dynamic GPU clock information so you can see just how much the AMD processor held back a GTX680 in this game. It downclocked itself a fair deal because the X6 couldn’t push it hard enough.
I intend this as an informational post for those curious. I wouldn’t expect anything to come of this, AMD does not have the support/corroboration team that Intel/nVidia has and for good reason. You get what you pay for. And while their CPU isn’t this much slower on the hardware level, these things tend to happen from time to time when your third party support team is non-existent.
Null field says it lasts 7 seconds, but its closer to 3.
