Whats to stop those people from just botting arena modes… you just ruin it for people who are trying to rank

Spvp-mode has become engi city right now.
Why is there even a cap, what good can come of this…
It seems to stop after 25% in normal-mode and only moves if you go into soloQ
Two sets of armor looks you can swap between for combat
it already has the UI option to do so with executioner’s outfit…
burn doesn’t stick very long and I wouldn’t trade out travelers
staff 4 isn’t that great
you only need 20 in virtues for the condi removal f2, all grandmaster traits in virtues are not worth droping points from another tier.
People who purely PvP want nothing to-do with the PvE aspect of the game.
People who do mostly PvE will only hope into maybe 3-4 games for daily.

How did this get passed over for 1.5 years… you built a melee class that can’t stick, teleports don’t counter people simply walking away from you.

It doesn’t matter if you are stream rolling stacked servers for a couple hours. It doesn’t matter how ‘good’ you think your group is.
If those servers are still beating you by coverage alone, you still lose in the end.

Sounds like you are trying to make WvW casual and not competitive. War isn’t fair.
It’s not competitive though, it’s just not. Competitive means equal play on both ends, but you got servers that just have WAY more coverage than others, so some fights end as straight up blowouts.
There needs to be more restrictions against zergballing and night-capping, it just needs it.
Yeah I know spirit weapons are bad, but I like to run them in spvp, but casting them mid-combat is really brutal

Instead of trying to do 150v150v150 that isn’t even possible for some servers
bring it down to maybe 40 to 60 and bring down the size of the map, then add overflow mechanic like eotm. This way outnumbered won’t be a problem, its a good guild size, and zergballing isn’t so aggressive.
Well think about it a a bit more…
MOST of the loot you get, as of right now, is salvage/vender garbage. You get all your crafting mats from just salvaging the greens/blues that no one uses or buy, then sell off your junk to venders. So all the loot right now is boring. Most people only get 1 exotic maybe once a day.
By removing the player driven economy, you can then increase loot drops in the game. Therefore you earn your t6 mats quicker, you get more exotics to get more ecto/matter/sigils through salvaging.
I’m pretty tired of this game being driven by gold. All the items are bought with gold, nothing is earned and its not a better game for it.
If this game was about cosmetic progression instead of vertical progression, there needs to be more ways to earn skins… not just farm for several hours for gold and then just buy it out. This is part of the reason why SAB TM weapons have higher value to them because they are inaccessible via gold, they are earned.
Sticking with the TP system means sticking with boring loot. It’s time to shift up to a loot version 2.0 like D3.
And then just increase better loot drops because then the loot drops would mean something.

I want more access to t6 mats… meanwhile I’m sitting on 100,000 Bloodstone dust, 60,000 fragments, 50,000 dragonite and nothing to spend em on.

GW2 is an achievement simulator at this point.
WvW seasons is a garbage concept, all servers already know who’ve won, it also depletes weak servers so people can bandwagon/stack, which makes it unfair/not fun to participate if you aren’t on a stacked server. All they did was tack on achievements, they didn’t fix wvw issues, they didn’t fix zergballs, they didn’t improve anything or add anything else. I really hate that people defend that concept.
Anyways, SAB is better because it has skilled based rewards… I’m tired of all this gold only garbage for a game that has cosmetic progression.

tome of wrath is useful when karma train in wvw to give quickness and might to allies to break doors a bit quicker
if you have it traited you can cast quickness twice

but lyssa rune getting nerfed. No reason to run tomes at all.
they do that for alot of world objects
