Don’t want Traveler/Speed Runes? Use Moa feathers or wield a Scepter. Don’t want to wield A scepter? Use Moa feathers or Traveler/Speed Runes etc etc, it’s a vicious circle. Otherwise you’ll end up in situation where you’re just walking after a guy kiting you eating his attacks watching your own heals and meditations go on cooldowns while he will barely be using anything beside his autoattackMelandru Runes combined with Lemongrass food just works wonders against all these condition builds, but just don’t forget to dig out that mobility from somewhere
Yeah, that’s what I figured. I was just thinking of GS+Sword/whatever for 3 blink pressure. I don’t mind scepter, I used to run it on my old build, so I may pick it up again to see how that works.
Blinks dont matter, w/o a soft cc they disengage and kite you.

only justice virtue should be used/spammed, courage/resolve are more oh @#$% buttons and should honestly never be used unless absolutely needed.
Medi gets boring
Would like more spirit buffs, they’re amazing in spvp 1v1 but I cant use them in open-world or roaming because they arent permanently up like necro pets.
The way I see it, there’s going to be a lot of fotm players playing med guard to see how it goes. After playing for a bit they realize med guard isn’t as great and easy to play as people make it out to be. Sure it counters some professions and builds very well, but it also has a lot of hard counters too. So they go back to playing whatever easy fotm faceroll builds they where playing before.
that gets confusing to say flavor of the month when this game has fractal of the mist.
Yes medi is a useless PvE build (good for solo though, even WvW solo)
but medi is shut down so hard by people who can kite.

I would put people who defend its current state as loss to insanity. Every time I see a guard with a shield, I go “Hey, free kill”

Just go symbol build, protection spam is just as good.
Rangers/Eles have better group healing.
Unkillable builds are shutdown by players with perma-poison, like necros or even a decent thief that doesn’t kill himself through retaliation/burn.

These are targeted at currently non-viable traits because other traits are superior.
You can’t use elite focus because of absolute resolution.
You can’t use battle presence/force of will because of pure of voice.
You can’t use glacial heart because Valor is not a symbol line.
and so on.

- Shattered Aegis: Now scales with the highest value of either Power or Condition Damage, ratio increased to 0.5, up from 0.16

- Healer’s Retribution: Duration increased to 5 seconds, up from 3 seconds

- Wrathful Spirit: (Wrathful Spirit text exist in Zeal, renamed Retaliatory Spirits to remove redundancy) Spirit Weapons gain retaliation when commanded, lasts 3 seconds
- Shield of Absorption: Combined with Protective Reviver to remove redundancy
- Pure of Heart: If aegis is triggered at full health, re-apply aegis, recharge 20 second
- Force of Will: Removed, Base Health increased 3000 passively
- Battle Presence: Moved to Virtues Grandmaster
- Writ of the Merciful: Ratio increased to 0.15, up from 0.075. Now affects concentrations, in addition to symbols.
Virtues
- Retaliatory Subconscious: Applies 2 seconds of stability, in addition to its normal action
- Power of the Virtues: Blocking now grants fury, 4 seconds : Healing affects increased by 10% : Burning Damage/Duration increased by 10%
Heal Skill
- Bow of Truth: (replaces utility version), Summons an aerial Spirit Bow that fires bolts at allies healing for 357 and removing a condition every 5 seconds.
- On-use: Targeted area gains healing arrows healing for 4,000. This skill is affected by Wrathful Spirits, increasing to 6,000; this destroys the bow.
Elite Skill
- Spirit Form: Take on the form of a spirit, gaining benefits from spirit weapon based traits (reduced effect wrathful spirit). All nearby spirits are empowered, gaining +25% health, +10% damage, +25% movement speed, Unblockable. Lasts 10 seconds. Recharge 90 seconds.
- Tomes: On-Use – grants 10 seconds of stability (no trait)
Utility
- Spirit Staff: Replaces Bow of Truth utility. (Pulse) Heals nearby Spirits and allies for 100 every 1 second, max 3 targets, affected by wrathful spirit, range 500
- On-use: Empower, grants 5 stack of might to nearby spirits, 15 second recharge
Weapon
Shield
- Shield of Judgement: Now stuns enemy targets in the cone for 1 second, in addition to its normal action
- Shield of Absorption: Heals instantly, denotation removed, duration increased to 5 seconds, up from 4 seconds. Recharge reduced to 30 seconds, down from 40 seconds.
Or make it so they don’t despawn, so they can be like MM Necros
And add a spirit staff elite.
It should of been built into the tome, not a trait. When I first saw it I was happy, then it said its attached to the elite focus trait where Absolute resolution is, so its unviable to use it at all.
I will run it in my spirit build cause spirit build is for lulz.

spvp warrior is so much nicer for 1v1.
solo-roam guardians are better cause they can clear camps faster.
bunker builds are awful, you rely so heavily on your team to win the game; one perma-poison thief/necro nullifies you out.

I think its funny they had time to make a long quest chain for an ascended backpiece in this LS that could of worked just as well with precursors.
tomes need perma stability to make them at all viable
I used to run tomes with lyssa rune (stability on elite and full condi cleanse), but the nerfed to the rune made the tomes worthless
I sent a ticket too.

warriors dont run that signet, since it means dropping something outside of zerker, balance, and signet of stamina. Usually full signet is a condi warrior

Bunker relies heavily on your teammates to do well, likle you can’t even carry your team with that build. And anyone running a perma poison build (thief/Necro) will shut you down no problem.
Your other option is dps-medi but you won’t survive 1v3, but you can carry (went 20-5)
The Health one is an addon, shows everyones health
Soldier = WvW
Knights for defensive then switch to berzerker once you feel comfortable with the class.
Don’t build condition it doesnt work with this class.

so if your dps is 50% less, that’s pretty hefty
Yea but its theoretical. There is a lot of numbers but they don’t take into consideration other variables. So its hard to know how big of a difference there would be between one party member wearing pvt vs zerk.
