it may sound weird but Guardian is not the class you want sword/shield on. Our shield is crap and the sword is not effective with shield. Scepter/shield is better but again, the shield is crap.

This is working as intended since you still utilize the invulnerability as said by a dev.
Although I agree that it should still reset the virtues, that is currently not the case, so you need to learn not to dodge or hit esc when you use your elite. The same applies for shelter, if its canceled/interrupted it will go on full cd w/o the heal.
Bunker guardian play is dead in current spvp since there’s a reduction in personal healing and with thieves/necros running perma poison.
for pve you’re suppose to be zerker, dead mobs don’t kill players.
bunkerish medi, trading off all the damage modifiers for some survivability. It’s not really a good build for Dungeons/fractals though.
guardians has one of the top dps under staff eles
the logic in not wanting to be zerker.
command is fine when you combo it with hammer command, I usaully crit sword 2-3k and hammer 5-6k on commands.
hammer is probably used about 10% of my guardian lifetime, GS is such a staple.
guardians pretty middle of the road for learning curve, they only thing they need right now is soft CC because they are so ridiculously easy to kite.
pretty easy, atleast clearing camps only take 10 seconds
shouldn’t be losing to eles, at best they should be stalling you out until either one of you gets reinforcement or someone makes a mistake.
if you build around engis you lose to everything else though, so you kind of have to crit your teeth on those fights.

sounds like alot of work for a boss that should be killed in 10-15s

the tourny achievements were the only reason for me to even go to WvW anymore, but they scraped it for 5 events per week (clear 1 camp, 2 yak, 1 sentry, 1 vet event, and you’re done).
stick with sw/fc + GS then (4/5/0/0/5)

For clarity this is the etra credit video about F2P game.
But gw2 is a b2p game with cosmetic pay. It doesn’t fall under the category of this video because you already payed the money upfront to enjoy the game.
Most people who played the game have 1k+ hours, and that’s alot coming from the original $60 they paid. Now you have people who only need to pay $10-20 for the same game.
Hell, FTL and Rogue Legacy are probably one of the best games of last year and I only got in 60 hours per those.

Because tome has a position requirement, zergballs run through the enemy staying together to reduce the aoe spread. Any guardian using tome leaves themselves open to die. Traiting elite focus over absolute resolution also leaves you open to die.
Yeah warriors can benefit from the leap, and a thief can spam leap, but they would gain retaliation even w/o the new aura.

any guardian using tomes in a zerg fight will die instantly…
Guardians can’t benefit from light aura since its a leap combo, and our leap is a blind, furthermore it only triggers the vuln once per second, not once per target per second.
WvW retaliation is reduced by 30% and maybe don’t go trying to aoe when you know this buff exists.
blast does not bring an aura, only aoe retialation
So mesmer are even more of a problem now? great, my hard counter to my guardian T_T

The problem I see with this aura is its hard to utilize it as a guard since our leap is a blind, so you’re negating the value of the on-hit.
they are all in craft skill, so if you had 500 leatherworker you can access all leatherwork back items
