In low fractals, as a guardian, people are stepping to side the of wall reflect and avenger shields, like its blocking their shots or something.
then in higher, people understand that guardians keep you healed/buffed and standing behind the wall makes you not take damage.
and I’m getting pretty tired of people running away from me when I go over to heal them
magic find wvw gear.
it looks like every other exotic crafted gear. its account bound. takes 5 days to make a piece. It mostly class specific, otherwise decent mf gear.

Couple of days grinding CoF p1: 6/6 armor
4 weeks of guild missions : 2pc of ascended acc
Couple of fotm runs until 20, get 2 relic dailies, 10 days of fotm dailiy: 2pc of ascended rings (reduce time if you get a dps ring needed drop from daily chest)
20 laurels+250 badges of honor: ascended amulet
then just keep doing fotm for the cape
geared to the max.
Why did that video say ‘hardcore’ dungeons?
this is the most casual gaming by far.
I geared my new warrior (crafting 1-80) fully on the same day.
what overwhelm, everyone has the same stats.

why would I waste my time in spvp, you make no money
knight armor / zerk trinket works fine for me
don’t bother with mace/torch
GS – Core dps item
Hammer – CC item (with protection proc on 3rd swing) not a single target dps weapon
Staff – Benefits with AH, and stacking might on teammates (double tapping #2 for heals)
sceptor – core single target range
focus – the blast does big damage, or use it to triple block (say soloing a champion, very useful)
shield – Only if you need the absorb shield, like in volcanic fractel
knight’s will let you do everything
Video shows it granting allies aegis when leap of faith is used, when it only applies blind

3k armor is soft cap though, it doesnt really benefit any furthur
he felt like he needed to go with something like guardian (was playing a thief).
Thats the one problem with thieves, they aren’t that great for dungeons, they are more oriented for pvp/wvw

Yeah, I had another thread suggesting that outmanned give a stat bonus (+vit/tog, so 5 players could be bulky enough to fight a zerg)
legendaries are just skin, doesnt change that
we have hammer/mace, sword/GS, scepter/staff, but only 1handed axes?
are, you, what, must be incredibly hard to spell.
Why should someone be rewarded for being in an unbalanced match-up, you have higher zerg counts, so you win every fight, you take whatever, because there’s no pressure to keep you from the objective.
Needs to move away from having players move to stacked servers for wvw play, it hurts all the low presence servers because the end result is no one wants to play if they know they will just end up being stomped.
If matchups are going to continue to benefit a server that clearly stacked against the other two, leaving one server with no numbers and consistently outmanned.
Is anything being done about these matchups? anything at all?
Any thoughts? (heal/support, with some dmg)
Its a small boost, because in its present state its too cramp, you have to be exactly under it to not get hit.
CD has low WvW presence, the fact that we got rolled against TC, MAG, and now DB means people are dropping out from WvW altogether because the matchmaking isn’t addressing the problem
The trait is there so you can use shelter as your heal spell.

they need to fix stacking duration.
I can imagine it be useful for chill, but its not useful.
Guardians are balanced they dont require nerfs/buff, they got it right the first time.
The only things I got was +80 to team toughness, which was pretty good.
Stop putting points in zeal, its a noob magnet trait.

I wouldn’t use Lyssa, since in wvw some boon pop are only 5s instead of 10 and condition duration isn’t needed.
Geez its not like we had to swap our armor for certain fights in WoW either

If you want to be safe do the dungeon with your guardian with a hammer
I also found a spot where none of the large aoe hits. Pretty simple if everyone else has an understanding (even simpler if you run fotm)
dev may say mf doesnt affect it, but it never hurts to try (may be bugged)
I did it a couple hours ago on CD, some Mag players were near but they were pretty chill (kept a hammer just incase, use banish to knockoff cliff)
because faceroll mechanics isn’t what gaming is all about.

if a path takes more than 20mins, its a bad design and needs to be removed.
Apparently the text has changed on the coffers to be in different text, not sure if patched caused it.
Hammer is best in WvW, also because you can use Banish to knock down state players towards your team, making it a better guarentee that person dies w/o interruption
farm cof p1, not only will you get good gold generation, you also earn zerker gear via tokens. then use the gold you made to make yourself healing gear for wvw and the karma stacks for pvt gear.
Knight gear + zerker trinkets will get you by in pve
