I’ve also done all 3 zones multiple times in both modes and am 66% (2/3) for that achievement, it just wont complete.

The finger also does like 50% of the frog’s HP
It’s not much an issue, but the cage boss on the stump has the most intense camera spaz out when maneuvering around it.

That kind of stuff was not mandatory in older games. If I needed an item to progress, I had to go get it. That usually meant running a dungeon or completing puzzles or what-not. I didn’t have to go grind out money over and over.
I didn’t have to grind money to get my weapons in Zelda, or my keys in Adventure, or my power-ups in Mario. This is just dumb.

Having hours to spend to figure out a pre-determined linear path for TM =/= skill.
The skin just means you had time to kill.

As to the Infinite Continue Coin I’ll repeat what I said several pages back. I think it’s a great item because it expands the number of people who can experience SAB. There’s probably a good-sized portion of players who don’t want to play it like a real stand-alone old-school game where you have to really learn the levels, find the secrets, earn the resources to get the power-ups etc. In that way it’s like a Game Genie.

If you get a friend, have him jump into the door to have the animation proc, then follow behind him to hope through the open door.

Has no one question as to the reason that the World 2 is much harder, BUT at the same time, it doesn’t give more rewards than World 1?
Where’s the time vs. reward chart? Why is this not a common thing in game design anymore? You can do a 2min W1-Z1 for 2 baubles OR do 2hrs W2-Z2 for 2 baubles.
If you’re going to leave the instance the same, but it’s still needlessly long, where’s the reward to match up to it?

World 1 is very nice, fun, and done right.
World 2 was just a kick in the face, it’s too big/long. Dont make dungeons/instances take the average player more than 20mins to complete, we’re not playing WoW here. All the worlds reward the same, so why was w2-z2 so long?
its real I got it, but the problem is that I needed my friend to die near it first for the door to open, so I can hop the animation. This needs a fix for solo.
How do I get in this one, it wont let me in, it kills me everytime
I completed World 2 – Zone 2, waited out timer to transfer to Zone 3.
It didn’t reward me the normal mode achievement for it ._.

The maps are WAY to big, it should of taken 10-20mins per zone, this is suppose to be a ‘fun’ side-step away from normal gameplay. Zone 2 took 2 hours, and for what? 2 baubles, and a bugged achievement that didn’t reward it (still 1/3). That zone alone just killed every hope I had for this game. Yeah trib is suppose to be hard, but it felt like I was playing trib on normal mode there. it was tedious and VERY un-rewarding for beating it.
This seemed like a cash grab on the coins more than anything. There was no reason to make the zones so long and annoying in World 2. It should of taken 10-20mins per zone, not 2 hours. This killed any hope I had for this game and I kind of stepping away from playing altogether. I put up my weaponsmith to 500 to see that most of the stuff is from doing world bosses, which is another stack of chores I stopped doing, and now feel forced to re-do. Every new LS has killed my interest more and more, and everytime I keep putting myself in denial that the game would get better.
They’re just constently going in the wrong direction, and every new player is enjoying it because they haven’t reach the endpoint yet, the older players and feeling drained/tapped out.
This my just end up being my last LS, think I’m done with mmos in general.
Seems like a chore now, everything is a flipping checklist now:
1. Get my Charged Quartz
2. Mine home node
3. Do Every World Boss
4. Do 6 levels of SAB to get enough Baubles
5. Do fractal dailies
6. Do some jumping puzzles, fragments T_T
7. Make my 2 daily crafting
This leaves no room for spvp, dungeons, wvwvw. It’s killing the game for me now. The crafting shoved me furthur away from my precursor as well.
Seems reasonable, as its essentially upgrading the ascended to legendary, since people don’t usually carry around using their precursor as actual weapons.
It’ll be busy the first week, then interest will decline, and it’ll be dead like karka queen.

Kind of the reason why its best to not throw money at it anymore.
it took them years to create the game, which means building on top of an old direct 9 engine, when it was released, direct has increase to 11. They can’t upgrade the engine since the game revolves around 9.
MMOs are based on CPU bottlenecking, not GPU. In any case, you can simply run the game in low, with sample native, it’s the same game essentally (I run amd 965 & gtx 570, with a dedicated physix card)

Ascended gear was revealed in November but they held back, now after a year they’re re-releasing it. Its the last item gear you’ll need irregardless.
I’ll take any class other than a ranger in dungeons/fractal any day.
It would make more sens to bump fractal weapons that drop in 40+ to drop be ascended, thus allowing you easier fights for 50+.
Well the karka queen was a fail because it required holding 4 bases before she would spawn, this means the map needs to be full, which isn’t going to happen.
Teq will spawn regardless of any outer interaction, atleast I hope they don’t change that.

heh, the only reason why I haven’t gone back to WoW, is because of the sub-fee, I’ve already invested into this game, but nothing has really happened in the year yet.
Move away from gold?
Most farmers will attest that you can make about 5 gold an hour farming champs. If you spent an entire 8-hour day farming, you’d be lucky to clear 40 gold (assuming the train lasts all day, which many times it doesn’t)
Is that seriously your counter-argument? Farm for 8 hours a day to make 40 gold?
40 gold is $10. You’re telling people it’s perfectly okay to farm at a rate of $1.25/hr because as we all know, farming is not ‘fun’ its a chore, it’s work.
