Yeah, I’d like more solo options. When it comes to world events, everyone is getting the same thing, so the rewards have to be reduced, so most of the time its counter-productive to do them. It’s also weird that the 2 raid like content only rewards reskins of gold bought skins (crafting).
Shoulder and gloves will be gem store items.

James was really cool about his SAB discussion but he ended up being silenced because heaven forbid a dev wants his work to be enjoyed by everyone.
I find it weird that the only weapons in-game that have to be EARNED is TM SAB and SAB was just a joke addition when it was released but honestly the only real hard thing to get (excluding dungeons tokens because face it, dungeons are super easy)
So what’s the deal here, if the horizontal progression in this game is cosmetic, why is everything either bought with gold or money, feels weird having nothing to work for in this game skill-wise. I think nexons influence is really damaging to this game honestly :/
I get this game needs to make money, but there needs to be an equal balance here, if everything is gem/gold then players just end up with nothing to do.
I have all the achievements for this LS.
Basically, I did white 1st phase, red 2nd phase, sat the rest in the corner not attacking anything

If you play a guardian here is what a guildie and I both did on separate occasions to complete it on our first try.
Go up to her and get pushed back the first time, then quickly judges intervention back to her and stomp her. It’s simpleDid not work. I even applied a second aegis via the third virtue after getting knocked and interventioning back but it makes no difference. What a disappointment. Not to mention that the next two achievements are locked behind this one.

Actually Wurm is HARDER than teq since teq is farmed daily and wurm is not.
So its not worth doing until something changes.

When you’re in a party, you only need to do minimal dmg and you still get xp
without a party, you need to do a good chunk of damage on your own to qualify for xp from that mob

The thing about this event being map wide reward leads to very poor reward distrabution.
150 people in a map every hour, across 30 servers, plus 2-5 overflows. Obviously the not everyone can get a good reward because then it devalues and that leads to the problem:
“Why am I doing this?”
The rewards aren’t there, and you still get the same thing as someone who rescued 100 citizens or just by the door for 40mins doing nothing.
Instance content is the only way to go, I’m sorry that people like the idea of a living world but rewards are important in an MMO and the only way to get them is through skill-locked content that people can control.
Did someone forget to apply the texture overlay to it? Doesn’t look right if left like this

This story encapsulates the state of the gaming industry:
every tiny change is subtle but the end result is bad for the consumer (the gamer). Its the same for eso, as in you got a buy to play, then a pay to play, then a cash shop, and then an imperial class exclusive for an extra $20. Or when CoD just reprints the same game with new maps.
They’re just obnoxious, and anyone saying otherwise or defending it is insane.
Only the overflows are getting rewards.

40x from rubbles over 5 resets = 200
50 over 3bags/hr ~= 16hrs
Problem is: If u farm citizens no stop. U get 25 bags and 5 whatever it is for 100 300 600 1000 1500.
If I farm dolly events non stop, I get 225 bags and 5 whatever it is.
Basically, u work, and I get reward for your work.. I dont like this way of rewarding.

Temporary content is temporary.
I wanted vertical armour design progression but we’ve only gotten ONE new (non-gemstore) armour in the past 1.5 years, and it’s ugly as sin and cost 200-300g to craft
This is why I love my TM SAB skins, because they are unique and required actual work to achieve them.
Vets are easy, could use a slight adjustment to elites though.

I’ve already beat the wurm but I stopped afterwards because the tiome/effort were NOT worth the rewards given at the end.
In any case, pugging won’t get this content done anyways, so scrapping bronze chests will promote only serious attempts for guilds since right now, the wurms are to hard unless its a 150 guild member on TS raid either from TxS or Att but anything else is just wasting time.

It used to be that we saw what was being released 1 week prior to its release, now we only get small teaser trailers and silence from the devs
If you don’t want market manipulation, then fine leave item changes out of previews but doing an entire veil is unnecessary
Kind of feels like the marketing team is slowly silencing out the dev team in overall game discussion, it may not seem like much now but in its essence if they keep it up it’ll carry on to worse ideas that they can’t control.
I also really enjoy the casual playstyle of GW but this in particular seems to be a big fault in this aspect of the game. There are several skins that are not being sold on the trading post, gem store or even a returning quest (2nd chance) for those players who are new or were not able to participate during that time.
I respect the fact that many players had to put in a lot of effort to acquire those items and I would as well… if they were available to me now. But it seems like there should be an opportunity to acquire these items even if there is a penalty like having to purchase them from the gem store or having to complete a longer more challenging quest. Making certain items permanently limited is a good idea as long as they remain in circulation… having items permanently limited (specific example: the gas mask) as well as account bound / out of circulation seems like non-sense.
Only takes me 2-3 hours to get each new backitem released, which i end up never using because they only give you ‘one’ instead of putting it in the achievement window as a multiple use item.

In a way, wasn’t it more fun to have the extra options. Over the 5 characters I had, I had to remember about 400 different keybinds
-Refusal to increase reward drops for skilled gameplay instead of farming
-Refusal to un-tie gold requirement for skins for a game based on cosmetics
-Refusal to tone-down tedious encounters, 5min AA maw? 10min AA golem?
-Refusal to provide extrinsic rewards
-Refusal to add additional pvp gamemodes

Agreed but it’s anet fault for making is HP scale ridiculous/tedious and having the electrical field kill you in 2 hits.
More HP/Dmg doesn’t make the encounter fun or better, it just worsen it because it becomes tedious.

The amount of skills we have per weapon set is fine. They just need to be somewhat equally useful.
And we need to have more weapons available for the proffessions, like giving greathammers to engineers, rifles to elementalists and nerfbats to warriors.Having 100 skills on the screen is a pain in the eye.
